LYCANS DATE

CHRISTOPHER'S POV It's been one week since that werewolf had cussed me and my brothers out in front of the entire school. Usually, after dealing with whoever crosses the line, they tapped out after three days of painful torture and left the school. But for some reason, the delicate looking female was holding on. I'd learnt from some students that she didn't have a wolf. Hmm. Yet, she'd resonated so much Alpha vibes from her. I opted out of giving her a piece of my wrath and left her to my brothers so I could think of the best way to deal with her. “We've done everything we can think of.” Roman threw a dart across the room as he fumed. “She doesn't come off as someone who could last a whole day, given how much she looked like a weakling.” he groaned as he narrowly missed the bull's line. “Still, she managed to take it all in.” Harper snorted. “Girls hate snakes. We hid it in her locker and even flushed her entire books down the toilet, still she didn't budge. Last night I had some girls fill her entire bed with bed bugs, still…” Anger worked up my insides as my jaw tensed. There has to be something that would break her. Ella Anderson was like a pain in the side of my neck. I would give half of my wealth to see her down on her knees begging for our forgiveness. ‘Pfft. I think you should let her go.’ My wolf spat. Since that female came into the picture, he was reluctant to do anything. On the day she was humiliated in the den, I'd wanted to shift and scare the living daylight out of her. Guess what? My wolf recoiled to the deep part of my mind. More like he didn't want his hands soiled. A knock sounded, jerking me out of my deep thoughts. “Good day my princes.” Cathy said in her high-pitched voice. We all knew why'd she'd come to our private classroom. The annual school dance was just around the corner and she wanted us to take her as our date. Roman dropped the darts in the small glass table after several futile attempts to hit the bull's eyes as he edged closer to the she-wolf and wrapped his hands around her waist and placed a soft kiss on her cheeks. Cathy's cheeks turned telltale pink as she blushed hard. He led her to one of the couches and set her on his lap. “To what do we owe this visit?” knowing who my brother was, he was well on his way to flirting with the she-wolf who didn't care one bit. She'd paraded herself as the next Luna of the moonstone pack, one that she might be. I and my brothers had waited for our mate all our lives and if we didn't find her or we reject her on the grounds that she wasn't capable enough, then we'd have no choice than to choose Cathy as our mate. “The school annual dance is just around the corner…” she began. Yes. That was it. The perfect idea I'd been looking for was here. A wolfish grin tugged at the corner of my lips as I imagined how that night would play out. “Cathy, you are —” “Not going to be our date this year.” A loud gasp. “What!!!” “Christopher!” Roman and Harper chorused. I lifted my chin to meet Cathy. Her eyes were bright with unshed tears as she stared at me. “Wh-wh…” her voice trailed off as her eyes searched mine, looking for answers I didn't have to give. “I'm sorry Cathy.” “This is the last school dance before you three graduate highschool and become leaders of the moonstone pack.” More reason why it had to be worthwhile. We'd gone easy on that female and it was time to shake everything up. Tension crackled in the room. Sparks flew from my Roman's head and Harper just stared at me, cluelessly. “We have the whole time.” I didn't beg nor apologize, never done that, never will. A sob wracked through Cathy as she ran out of the room. The room was dead silent. “What do you think you're doing?” Roman questioned, a shadow crossing his face. “We don't have another date—” “On the contrary, we do.” “We do?” Harper queried and I nodded. I stood up from the chair and headed towards the door. My hands curled around the doorknob as I turned to face them, “Are you guys coming or not?” Roman cursed under his breath and Harper just stood and followed me. We walked down the hallway, ignoring the curious glances from the other students. I stopped right in front of Ella's class and pushed the door open. All the students including the teacher gasped. “Goo–goo…” the female teacher was too shocked to make a complete statement. I wasn't surprised, that was the Caviers effect on people. It didn't take long for me to fish her out in front of the class. My eyes met Cathy's curious eyes briefly before it rested back on Ella who didn't do as much as shift her gaze from the book on her desk. I wasn't angry, more like I was anxious to know this female who didn't give a flip about the Lycan heirs. I edged closer to her and slammed my hands on her desk. She slowly stared at me and I could've sworn, a small jolt ripped through my chest. Her warm lazy gray eyes pierced through me. For once in my life, I was at a loss for words. Ella stood to her feet, holding my gaze. I swallowed, as I drank in her unique features. Wavy blonde hair that was held up in a ponytail. Her well defined nose and blush pink lips stood out. Her face, carefully carved out, glistened under the warm golden lights. She was supermodel tall with alabaster skin. For some reason, I wanted her to smile. But she was goddamn beautiful even when she frowned. ‘She seems interesting. You don't have to be a jerk.’ My wolf asserted. I pointed at her. “You're going to be our date to the annual school dance.” She flinched, before she blinked. “No!” What the hell! “You don't have a choice.” I said and stormed out of the class. Something told me that this female would make our lives miserable. I didn't know how yet, but I was going to find out.
