CH.32

Annalynn’s pov 

Aspen and I had a nice and relaxing day and now we are going out to dinner. We decided to try the spa’s restaurant since it was free with my spa passes. It was kind of fancy so we both got all dolled up and headed downstairs. Once we were seated and the waiter took our drink order, Aspen asked me if Jakob and I had talked about having pups and I told her we hadn’t really talked about us having one but we’ve spoken about what kind of parents we would be and now with Kellan we have been focusing on him and trying to get him on track developmentally. After our drinks came and we placed our food order I asked Aspen if her and Hardin had thought about having any more pups and she said Hardin has brought it up but she doesn’t think she should have any more right now because the triplets still need a lot of attention and she wouldn’t be able to give it to them with another pup. I told her if she wanted to have another pup she has a lot of people who would be able to give the triplets the attention they need. She said,

“I would like to have another pup but I think I should wait at least another year. The triplets aren’t even 1 and I would like to bond with them as much as I can right now.”  I told her I understood. 

20 minutes later our food came out and we sat there eating and laughing at each other's stories. We talked about the pups and we talked about each other’s intimate life even though Hardin is my brother it wasn’t as weird as I thought it would be talking about stuff like that with Aspen. When we finished dinner the waiter told us there was a trail for guests to walk and said we should check it out. We decided to go check it out. We went back upstairs to change into something more comfortable for walking. When we left the resort we found the trail and headed down it. The trail took us to the other side of the waterfall and there were colored lights lining the ground. The end of the trail overlooked a huge lake and you could see the boats out on the water. It was a beautiful sight and Aspen and I sat on one of the benches and enjoyed the view for about an hour. The only noises were from the boats and the water hitting the rocks. We headed back and went to be since we had to be up early for our massages in the morning. 

When we woke up Aspen and I got ready to head down for our massages. Today is our last day so we asked for the full package. When we got down to the spa we checked in and we were taken back right away. Aspen and I requested to be in the same room at all times because we weren’t comfortable being in separate rooms. We were in the spa for 5 hours and when we left I felt like a different person. They served us grilled chicken salads for lunch while we were there and it got us through until dinner time. Aspen offered to pay for us to have dinner delivered and when I asked what she was wanting we both laughed and I said nevermind I already know because I'm craving it too. We ordered 200 wings, fries, celery, and carrots. After we ate all the wings and fries we put a movie on and then went to bed. 

Jakob’s pov

I took Kellan back to Colette this morning and she didn’t even say a word to me. After I left I went to the gym to teach my class. When I was done with my class I went and took a shower and went downstairs to the rec room to play a video game. I had been in there for an hour when I got a mind-link from Hardin asking where I was. I told him I would come up to his suite. I left the rec room and headed upstairs when I got to Hardin's suite I could hear Silas screaming “AK AK” I opened the door and he stopped screaming. I asked what was going on and he said,

“I don’t know Jak. Silas just started screaming then started screaming for you. I have been trying to calm him down but nothing has worked.”  

I picked Silas up and asked him what was wrong and he just laid his head on my shoulder. I told Hardin it could be him missing Aspen and me having Kellan yesterday and not spending time with him that he may be feeling abandoned. Hardin said I was probably right since Silas calmed down after I got here. Hardin asked if I had heard from Anna and I shook my head. He said he talked to Aspen last night but hasn’t heard from her yet today. I asked if they were supposed to be coming home today and he said yeah but didn’t know what time. We ended up hanging out in the suite for a few hours then took the pups down for dinner. While we sitting at the table I got a text from Anna saying they would be home soon and as soon as I went to reply her scent filled my nose and I smiled. I turned around and saw my beautiful mate and sister-in-law walking into the dining hall. After they sat down I asked Anna how their trip to the spa was and they both replied at the same time “AMAZING” everyone at the table laughed. After dinner, Anna and I went upstairs and once we got into the room I was closing the door and Anna pushed me against it and started attacking me with her lips. When she pulled away she said,

“I missed you so much while I was gone, babe.” I told her I missed her too. 

As we were putting her clothes in the laundry chute Anna said there was something she wanted to talk to me about. I asked her what it was and she said it was something we hadn’t really talked about. I said we talk about everything sweetheart what have we forgotten?

Anna said, “since we found out about Kellan, we haven’t really talked about us having a pup if the Moon Goddess blesses us.” I looked at Anna and said, are we? Did she? Are you? 

Anna giggled and said, “no babe I'm not pregnant I’m just saying if the Moon Goddess decides to bless us I want to know your feelings on it and I want to share mine with you.” 

I said well let’s sit down and talk then sweetheart. I want to know how you feel about having a pup or pups with me.

Anna smiled at me and said, “I do want to have a pup or pups with you if we are blessed to have one or more. I want at least 3 or 4 pups. When I was younger I used to picture myself married to an amazing man, had an almost perfect marriage and we had 4 pups.” 

I looked at Anna and said, almost perfect, and what about Kellan? 

Anna said, “yes almost perfect and of course, now that Kellan is part of our lives he is included, and before you ask me what I meant, by almost perfect marriage I meant one that has issues and fights that get resolved inside the marriage.” 

I told Anna that she wasn’t picturing too much as most little girls do and from what it sounded like was all she wanted was a normal marriage and family. She asked about how I felt and I told her I felt the same way. I wanted a normal marriage and how many ever pups we were blessed with and even if we weren’t blessed I would be ok with that. Anna wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me so passionately. I smirked at her and said why don't we start trying for that family now?
