Annalynn’s pov
After Jakob and I left Aspen and Hardin’s suite we went back to Jakob’s room and he asked when I was going to officially move into his room. I told him once his room was expanded I would because now that Kellan in is our lives there isn’t enough room for my stuff, Jakob’s stuff, and Kellan’s stuff. He said he was going to talk to Hardin again about it this weekend. We spent an hour laying in the bed making out and cuddling. Before I had to leave to meet Aspen I asked Jakob if he was going to be ok picking Kellan up in the morning without me and he said he would have Hardin or Alexander go with him. We headed downstairs and when we got to the main entrance Hardin and Aspen were already there she was kissing the triplets bye when Silas pushed her away and screamed “AK AK AK” we all started laughing. That little boy just loves his Uncle Jakob. Once we said our byes Aspen and I hit the road. While we were on the road Aspen asked how things were between Jakob and I and I told her things were good. She asked about Colette flirting with Jakob and I told her about how she answered the door when we went to pick Kellan up and how Hardin snapped on her. Aspen said,
“I don’t understand how she can act like she hasn’t been told to stay away from Jak numerous times now.” I said yeah it’s starting to get old. Aspen said, “has doctor Morris said anything about the results?” I shook my head no and said I need to admit something. Aspen said, “ok it’s just us and you know you can talk to me about anything Anna.” I took a deep breath and said I got a weird feeling the first weekend Jakob had Kellan but I couldn’t figure out what it was and every time I am with them I notice that Kellan isn’t focusing on Jakob. Aspen asked what I meant and I said well he doesn’t completely ignore Jakob but he is distant from him but he interacts more with me. Aspen raised her brow and said it should be the other way around shouldn’t it? I nodded. She said “something doesn’t seem right with that. Maybe you and Jakob should talk to mom or talk to doctor Morris and see if he has any type of disability.” I said to be honest, Aspen I don’t think Kellan is Jakob’s. Aspen pulled over and said “what?” I said think about it. She shows up here after a year saying she needed a place to stay then tells Jakob Kellan is his after being at green moon for a few weeks, then says she was trying to find Jakob. OK, if she found out he was a Beta how hard is it to find out which pack he is in? I said and now Kellan has been coming to spend time with Jakob but he acts like Jakob isn’t even there most of the time we have him and I do not see any resemblance between him and Jakob. I don’t even see Colette in him other than his nose. Aspen said, “Anna have you told Jakob?” I said no but only because I didn’t want it to cause a fight between us. Aspen said, “I will talk to him when we get back and I won’t tell him the concerns are from you I will say they are mine.” I hugged her and we got back on the road to the spa.
Jakob’s pov
After Anna and Aspen left Hardin asked if I wanted to hang out with him and the pups for a bit and I said yeah. We took the pups to the park then we took them down to see Aunt Amanda and Uncle Clay. when Aunt Amanda closed the door she hugged me and said “everything is going to be ok Jakob.” I said I know it will. We went into the living room and Uncle Clay was picking Juniper up and then he tickled her tummy. Juniper squealed and said, “pa top”. He sat her down picked Silas up and said “pawpaws buddy”. Silas saw me and said “AK AK” Aunt Amanda said, “what have you done to my grandpup, Jakob Lee?” Hardin and I both busted out laughing and Hardin said “ Mom Silas has been like this since he was born. For some unknown reason, Silas has a bond with his Uncle Jak like no one has ever seen.” I said he just loves me, and knows his Uncle Jak will protect him like his Daddy will. We hung out for about an hour and a half, then headed back to the packhouse. Anna called me as soon as we went through the door of the packhouse to let me know they had made it to the spa. I told her I was glad they made it and to enjoy her time with Aspen. Hardin asked if I wanted to stay the night with him and the pups and I said I would be fine and I had to pick Kellan up in the morning, so there was no sense in me staying there and waking them up when I had to leave in the morning. I left the suite and went back to my room and laid back on my bed. I took a deep breath and picked up my phone to call Anna but decided not to bother her. I got up and went to take a shower. When I got out I got dressed. I didn’t feel like going down and sitting in the dining hall and having Colette flirt with me since Anna wasn’t here so i called the kitchen to bring my dinner up to my room. After ate dinner i laid back and put a movie on i dosed off but woke up to my phone ringing. I picked up and heard my loves voice and smiled. She was calling to tell me good night and asking how things were going without her and Aspen and i told her things were fine and we talked for a few more minutes and then we got off the phone. I went to bed early since i had to get up early to pick Kellan up.
