CH.13

Hardin’s pov

When Aspen and Jakob headed to her office it gave me a chance to talk to Anna. I could see this was bothering her. I said Anna talk to me I know this is bothering you and you don’t need to hold it in. I know you talk to Aspen but you know you can talk to me too. She sighed and said,

“I don’t know how to deal with all this Hardin. I just found out last night that my mate has a son with some she-wolf he screwed at a party because he was wasted and that she-wolf happens to be the same one who has been flirting with my mate since she arrived here.”

I said well since my little announcement on your birthday I'm sure that has stopped. She shook her head and said, “right after you made that announcement I overheard her talking to an omega who warned her to stay away from him and it was like she could care less that he had a mate and that you specifically said he was off-limits.” I said well when we meet with her I will make it clear that just because they have a son that doesn’t mean she is going to end up with Jakob. Anna got up from the couch and went and sat on the floor by the pups and I could see something else was bothering her so I said Anna, what else is going on? You aren’t good at hiding when something is bothering you so please tell me. She looked up and said,

“I just turned 18 a few days ago and finally mated with Jakob and find out the same night we mated that I am going to be a stepmom and Jakob and I aren’t even married yet. I don’t know if I can do this Hardin.”

I said Annalynn Tifton you can do this! I see how you are with my pups and being a mother is 1 thing I know for a fact you are going to be awesome at. Kellan may not be your pup but you can still treat him as if he is yours. Look at how mom and dad are with Wisteria, Acer, and Rose and think about how mom took Jakob in as one of her own kids after his parents died. You took to those 3 kids we now call our siblings like they were your own blood. You got this Anna and you have Aspen and I behind you to help in any way. She stood up and rushed to me and hugged me. She said,

“I am so thankful to have you as my big brother Hardin.” we sat there and played with the pups until Jakob and Aspen came back and Anna and I looked over the agreement and both agreed it was fair. I told Aspen I would set up the meeting with Colette for tomorrow.

Annalynn’s pov

After talking with my brother I felt a little better. I am not going to let that nasty she-wolf come in and take what belongs to me and I will fight for him with everything I have in me. I went to my room and decided to take a nap before dinner Jakob said he would come and wake me up when I needed to get ready. I slept for almost 2 hours I got up and got ready for dinner and met Jakob at the stairs. I held my head high and told myself I was not going to let her get to me and I was going to act as if she wasn’t even here. We headed down to the dining hall and sure enough, her nasty self was there. Jakob and I walked past her and went to our table. We sat there and talked to everyone until the food was served. After we ate we stayed and talked to Thomas, the twins, and their mates and I noticed she was still in the dining hall too. A few minutes later Hardin came back into the dining hall and walked up to her. When he finished talking to her and walked away she turned and looked at Jakob and saw me looking at her and shot me an evil look. I smiled and went back to talking to Brie. after we left the dining hall Jakob asked if I wanted to go for a drive and I said that sounded perfect. So we headed out to his SUV and left the packland. I asked where we were going and he said,

“we are going to Hardin’s property.” I smiled and said I love that place so much I hate that Hardin got it but I'm glad it stayed in the family and I can still go when I want to clear my head.

When we pulled up I figured we were going to go out to the lake but Jakob opened the cabin door and said “Hardin gave me the spare key and said if I ever needed to clear my head I could come here. I think you and I need a night away from the packhouse to talk.”

I smiled and said Jakob Lee you chose the right place for that. My grandparents said this place was the best place to escape. I went in and lit the lanterns. I'm thankful Hardin has someone come out once a week to clean and keep it dusted. I went and sat on the bed and Jakob came and sat next to me.

He said “Anna I am truly sorry for all of this. I shouldn’t have gone to that party and drank so much. Because of my stupidity, you ended up getting hurt and that was the last thing I ever wanted to do to you.”

I said Jakob you didn’t intentionally hurt me. This happened before we found out we were mates baby. I acted immaturely and I am sorry for that. I acted as if you cheated on me and had a pup from that but that isn’t the case and I am so sorry I ran out of your room last night and ignored your calls and text. You just got the news you have a son who is a little over a year old and I didn’t think about how you were feeling. I am sorry for acting like that baby. Jakob pulled me close to him and said,

“you don’t have to apologize Anna. I am the one who needs to do that. I was so screwed up after my parents died and I used drinking and one-night stands as ways to cope but I didn’t think about the consequences of doing that. Hardin told me several times to stop but I didn’t listen and look where I am now. I am a father to a pup whose mom I didn’t even know I slept with because I got so wasted I couldn’t see straight. Anna, I want to do the right thing and help with my son but I don’t want it to cause problems with us.”

I cupped my hand on his cheek and said we are in this together baby and whatever issues we have we can find a way to work through them. If the moon goddess planned this for you then we are meant to work everything out. I love you with all of my heart Jakob and I will not let that woman come in and take what belongs to me without putting up a fight. Jakob smiled and said,

“I love you so much Anna and I promise I won’t let anything or anyone come between us. I want to apologize again for our special night being ruined by her.”

I pushed Jakob back on the bed and started unbuttoning his pants. He asked what I was doing and I said just lay there and let me do what I am going to do. He stopped talking and I continued pulling his pants down. He kicked his shoes off and pulled his pants off. I ran my hands up his legs and he moaned. When I got to his boxers my nerves kicked in. I took a deep breath and tugged on his boxers he lifted his butt and I pulled them off him. He sat up and pulled his shirt over his head then laid back down. I climbed in between his legs and leaned over him placing kisses on his chest and down his stomach, I stopped at his v-line and took a deep breath and grabbed his member, and started stroking it how Aspen showed me. Jakob moaned and closed his eyes. I did that for a few minutes then licked my lips and started teasing the tip of his member with my tongue. Jakob gripped the bed and moaned. He looked up at me and said,

“Anna you don’t have to do this.” I told him to be quiet and let me get back to what I was doing.

I opened my mouth and worked my way down his member until I gagged. Jakob yelled out “oh f**k Anna.” I slowly worked my way up and down until I got used to it and then picked up the pace. Jakob forgot I wasn’t used to it and thrust a few times causing me to pull back and gag. He apologized and I went back to it. The more I did it the more he moaned and gripped the cover. After doing that for a while Jakob started moaning more and grunting then started saying “I'm close. Oh goddess Anna please don't stop.” I watched his facial expressions and it amazed me seeing the pleasure shown from his expressions. Jakob stiffened and said,

“Anna I'm about to blow you don’t have to keep going with your mouth you can use your hand.” but I ignored him and continued with my mouth and it was seconds later that I felt the warm saltiness going down my throat.

He yelled out “Anna, Oh my goddess Anna.” until he was done shooting his seed. When he opened his eyes I was wiping my chin from some that spilled out of my mouth and I licked my lips he said,

“f**k Anna that felt amazing baby. I thought you had never done that.?”

I smiled and said I haven’t that was my first time actually doing it. He raised his brow and said, “first time actually doing it?”

I giggled and said I had someone teach me. He looked at me and said, “let me guess Aspen?” I nodded and laughed.

He grabbed me and pulled me into a kiss and said “I love you so much Annalynn Tifton.” I pushed him back and said make love to me Jakob he helped me undress and we switched places. He kissed all over my body and then made love to me until the sun came up. We laid there as the sun came up and he said,

“This is how I wanted our first time to go but it didn’t and I'm sorry again baby.” I kissed him and said no more apologies from either of us. We have worked through it and now we move forward baby.

I said let’s get dressed and head back home so we can get this meeting out of the way and keep moving forward. He smiled and we got dressed and headed home.
