CH.12

Annalynn’s pov

When I left Aspen and Hardin’s suite I decided to go take a shower then go see Jakob and talk to him. I went to my room and grabbed my phone to check if I had any missed calls. I had 15 missed calls from Jakob, 17 texted messages from Jakob, and 1 missed call from an unknown number. I grabbed my clothes and jumped in the shower. I was in there for almost an hour just trying to think of what to say but I couldn’t come up with anything. Once I was dressed I threw my hair up in a messy bun and decided not to put any make-up on. I texted Aspen and let her know I took a shower and was getting ready to go talk to him and she said Hardin had been with him this whole time because he was worried Jakob would try to hurt himself because of this hurting me. As I was grabbing my door handle my phone rang I grabbed it to check who was calling and it was that unknown number again. I answered and said hello, there was heavy breathing on the other end. I said may I ask who is calling?

The unknown caller said “you’ll see who soon.” and hung up. I sat my phone back down and ignored what was said because right now Jakob and I fixing our relationship was more important.

I left my room and headed to Jakob’s when I got to his door I noticed it was cracked and I could hear crying and my brother talking. I stood there for a moment and listened even though I know I shouldn’t but I wanted to know what he was crying about. I heard Hardin say "calm down bro" and then I heard Jakob say

“I can’t calm down man, the one person in this world I promised to never hurt is hurting and won’t even talk to me because I am f*cking dumbas* and was wasted to the point I couldn’t think straight and wasn’t careful. Anna is probably going to reject me now and I know I deserve it but to be honest if she does reject me I am probably going to do something stupid Hardin. Losing Anna is going to be what pushes me to the point of no return. I know I said that when my parents died but I really mean it this time man.”

I opened the door and said Jakob Lee, don’t ever let me hear those words come out of your mouth again! Hardin stood up and said,

“I'm going to go so the two of you can talk. Mind-link me if either of you needs me.” he hugged me and left the room.

I closed the door and walked up to Jakob and said, Jakob, just because you made a mistake before we got together doesn’t mean I am going to reject you. I am not going to lie and say it doesn’t hurt but we are in this together baby. I love you and this is something we can work through. I may hate that nasty b**ch with a passion for coming here and flirting with you and then throwing this into your lap but your son didn’t do anything wrong. I lifted Jakob’s chin and said baby look at me. He had tears running down his face and said,

“I can’t Anna, I hurt you and I will never be able to forgive myself for it.” I bent down and kissed his lips at first there was no kiss back from him but I was determined to get him to kiss me back so I kept kissing until he gave in and kissed me back.

When I pulled away his eyes were still closed. I said Jakob open your eyes and look at me, please. He opened his eyes and I could see how bad this was killing him. I said stand up Jakob. He stood I put my hand on his bare chest over his heart and said this is mine, I ran my hand down from his heart to his abs and said MINE, I went up to his cheek and said MINE, put my finger on his lips and said MINE, then I went down his chest straight to his member and gently grabbed it and said this is MINE and MINE only! He nodded his head and said,

“yes baby only yours.” I said you Jakob Lee are mine and only mine! He said, “I am yours, sweetheart, I don’t want anyone other than you Annalynn Tifton!”

I said good now go take a shower because you stink like sweat and I will straighten up the room and spray something to drown out the smell of you deflowering your best friend and Alpha’s little sister hours ago. His eyes widened and he said,

“oh shi*. Hardin is going to f**king kill me.” I busted out laughing and said I'm sure he wants to but isn’t going to.

He looked at me and said, “he already tried once this morning.” I raised my brow and said what do you mean? He said, “He grabbed me by the throat and held me against the wall and said I was going to be next to my parents but Aspen made him let me go.”

I said I was going to have a talk with him about that and told him to go shower so we could go talk to Aspen and Hardin about the situation. Once he was in the shower and I had picked up the room I mind-linked my brother and said really? You held my mate and your best friend up by his throat and threatened to put him next to his parents? He mind-linked back

“Anna, I didn’t know what he did to you I thought he physically hurt you. I was very angry so yes I did hold him up by his throat and threaten him.”

I said well you owe him an apology, Hardin. He said, “I know I do, and trust me I am going to find a way to make it up to him.” I said he didn’t deserve to have his best friend throw his parents in his face like that.

Hardin said, “I know he didn’t and I said I was going to find a way to make it up to him but after I find a way to make that up to him I am going to kill him.”

I said oh and just why are you going to kill him after you make that up to him? Hardin said, “Because he deflowered my little sister!”

I cut off the mind-link as soon as he said that. When I turned around Jakob was standing there in a towel. He said, “I forgot to grab my clothes.” I smiled and said no need to explain baby it’s your room and I've seen you naked already so you can lose the towel if you want.

He laughed and said, "as much as I would love to make up for last night we need to go talk to Hardin and Aspen about all of this."

I nodded and said oh I would try to stay as far away from Hardin as possible if I were you. He turned and said, “why?” I smiled a cheesy smile and said he knows you deflowered his little sister. Jakob’s eye widened and he put his head down and said,

“I knew it. I'm a dead man.” I laughed and said he can’t kill you for doing what we are meant to be doing. We are meant to find each other, love each other, and f*ck as much as we can. Jakob lifted his head and said “Ms.naughty potty mouth” and laughed.

I shook my head and said get dressed before I push you on the bed and have my way with you. He smirked and said, “mmm I’d love for that to happen.” I shook my head and said meet me at the stairs when you are dressed and I left his room.

Jakob’s pov

When Anna left my room she was smiling. I didn’t think I would see her smile again. I am so happy she came to talk to me but I still can’t forgive myself for her having to go through this because I was stupid one night and wasn’t careful. Once I was dressed I went to the stairs and Anna was there waiting on me. We went up to Aspen and Hardin’s room and knocked on the door. Aspen opened the door with a semi-smile and said,

“I am happy to see both of you standing here. I take it you two have talked?” I nodded and she let us in.

Hardin came out of the nursery carrying Juniper and Cassia, he put them on their play mats and I said we need to talk about all of this guys. We all sat down and I said what am I going to do? How do I go about all of this? Hardin said,

“I don’t know man, I have never had to deal with anything like this so I don’t know what to say really.”

Aspen said, “Jakob first of all we need to get Colette in a group meeting with us, get all of the information you need to know about him and come up with an arrangement for you to spend time with Kellan just you and Anna.”

I nodded and said that sounds like a good start. Anna sat there quietly and I noticed her staring off out the kitchen window. I said Anna do you have any suggestions? She shook her head no. I said is there anything you want to say? She looked around and sighed. She said,

“I don’t know if I can be in the same room as her.”

Hardin said “as his mate he needs you and if you are going to stay with Jakob you need to be part of this meeting to Anna. Kellan is going to be part of your life too.”

Aspen asked if she could print out an agreement paper for days that I get to spend time with Kellan and I told her any help I could get I was all for it. She said “let’s go to my office and we can work on an agreement for you and her to sign and I will print it out. I said let’s go and we headed to her office.
