CH.14

Colette’s pov

The Alpha told me last night he wants to have a meeting with me today after breakfast. I’m kind of worried he is going to kick me out of his packlands. I still haven’t seen or heard from the Beta since I told him he was Kellan’s father. I still can’t believe he fell for that. Now I just sit back and wait on him to give Kellan his last name and I’ll be set along with my son. It’s almost time for breakfast so I'm getting dressed then I’m going to get Kellan dressed and head downstairs. Once I got both of us ready Kellan and I went and sat at our table. The Beta and his mate hadn’t come down yet but after breakfast, before I meet with the Alpha I am going to go up to him and ask what he plans on doing to help me. Everyone started sitting down at the ranked table but the Beta and his mate weren’t there. I wonder where they are. After Kellan and I ate I took him to the daycare so I could go meet with the Alpha. On my way back into the packhouse I saw the Beta and his mate walking up the stairs. I called out for him but he never turned his head. I started walking faster to try and catch up with him but I couldn’t by the time I reached his floor, him and his mate were nowhere in sight. I decided to just go up to the Alpha’s office and get this meeting over with. When I got to the Alpha’s office door I knocked and heard him say come in. I opened the door and was surprised to see the Luna, the Beta, and his mate in the room as well. I closed the door and said you wanted to talk to me, Alpha Hardin? He said,

“have a seat, Colette.” I sat down and he said, “the reason for this meeting is because of the recent news that was given to Beta Jakob by you.” I nodded and he said, “is it true that you told Beta Jakob that he is the father of your son Kellan?” I said yes it is Alpha Hardin.

He said, “you have shown him the birth certificate with his name on it as the father and a DNA test correct?” I said yes Alpha Hardin I have. He said, “ok now what we are going to do is talk about an agreement that Beta Jakob had the Luna print up for him to see Kellan on his own and spend time with him.” I said ok.

He handed me a piece of paper and said to read it. After a few minutes, he asked if I had any objections to the agreement and I said why does he want to spend time with Kellan without me? Alpha Hardin looked at Jakob, then back at me and said,

“because for him to build a bond with his son he needs to have one on one time with him.” I said ok that’s fine but it’s just going to be the two of them right? He said, “no there will be times when his mate will be present for the visits and will also be getting a chance during those visits to bond with Kellan as she will be part of his life as well.”

I looked at her and back at the Alpha and said I don’t feel comfortable with her being around my son without me. The Alpha looked at me and said,

“and why exactly are you not comfortable with my sister being around your son? My sister hasn’t done anything to you for you to feel that way.” I said I don’t know your sister that is why I am not comfortable with her being around my son without me.

He said “you don’t know Beta Jakob either other than from getting drunk at a party and sleeping with him. In which you didn’t even know who he was until after you slept with him and was told by a friend.” I said ok fine she can be around him.

The Alpha said, “good now that we are all ok with everything.” I cut him off and said when is Beta Jakob going to give Kellan his last name? The Alpha said, “do not cut me off when I am speaking but to answer your question he will not be giving him his last name until he has built a bond with Kellan and is able to have Kellan on his own overnight.” I huffed and said ok fine.

The Luna said “why is it so important right now that Beta Jakob give your son his last name? He just found out about having a son a day ago and you are already bringing up changing his last name.” I looked at her and said because he is his son and he should have his father’s last name. She said, “well if you wanted him to have his father’s last name why didn’t you put Lee on his birth certificate instead of it being Elm?” I said not that, that is any of your business but because I wasn’t sure if I would ever find Beta Jakob so I gave him my last name.

The Alpha growled at me and said “you will show my wife and Luna of this pack respect and you will watch how you speak to her.” I sat back and said ok.

The Alpha then said Beta Jakob sign the paper please.” he signed it and then the Alpha said “Colette your turn.” I hesitated but signed it. The Alpha then said “one other thing Colette, you will respect Beta Jakob and his mate Annalynn’s relationship and you will not do anything to cause any drama for them. That means the flirting stops, the talking behind people's back about my sister and Beta Jakob stops and you will not go to their floor unless you are invited. Do you understand me?” I said yeah I get it. He said “good then you are free to leave.” I got up and walked out as I was closing his office door I heard Jakob say “thank god that is over with and she agreed.”

I went back to my room and screamed this is not how I planned this to go. It was supposed to be I tell him he has a kid with me after flirting with him and then he leaves his mate for me and Kellan so Kellan can grow up with a rank and I don’t have to live the way I have been. I guess I am going to have to try harder and be a little sneakier when flirting with him. I wonder if that Omega I’ve been talking to snitched on me and that’s how Alpha Hardin knew I had been talking behind their backs. I am going to have to ask her about that when I see her later. I laid down on my bed and decided to take a nap while Kellan is at the daycare.

Aspen’s pov

After Colette left the office I told Jakob that I would be accompanying him for a little while when he goes to pick Kellan up just to make sure there is no drama. He said that was a good idea and told me thank you for helping him with this and with Anna. I hugged him and said no need to thank me Jakob we are family and I will go to hell and back for my family. Hardin asked when Jakob wanted to pick Kellan up for his first visit so he could make sure he had what he was going to need and he said Saturday would be better since he could go after training to get him. I told Jakob that the four of us could go shopping for a few things later that way he had some stuff. He said that was fine and he would like to treat us to dinner for helping him. After lunch, we took the pups to see Clay and Amanda so they could spend time with their grandparents while we went shopping with Anna and Jakob. We headed out to the mall and after 3 hours of shopping, we bought most of everything Jakob and Anna need to start out with. We went to everyone’s favorite wing place and ate an early dinner. We ordered 300 wings but we only ate 200 I wanted some to take home to heat up later if I got hungry because this wing place is freaking awesome! I love their lemon pepper, teriyaki, and mild wings. When we were done Hardin suggested we go bowling since the pups were with their grandparents and we didn’t have to hurry home. Everyone liked that idea so we headed to the bowling alley. After we got home Amanda called and said they wanted the pups to stay the night since they were already asleep and she said she was sending wisteria up to get them extra clothes, diapers, and milk. Hardin and I loved the idea of the pups staying with Clay and Amanda because we get to spend some much-needed alone time together. After Wisteria left the suite Hardin picked me up bridal style and carried me to our room. He helped me undress then laid me back on the bed and said,

“even after giving birth to 3 Alpha pups you’re body is still as beautiful as it was the day I first saw you naked. The curves you had before the pups and the ones you have now make me lose all train of thought and my mind goes directly to your facial expressions as I worship and caress your beautiful body, my love.” I pulled Hardin down closer and kissed him.

I pushed him back and said you don’t have to try and sweet talk me because my flower is aching for you, Hardin. He didn’t say anything instead he sat up on his knees and grabbed the front of my bra and ripped it in half. He leaned forward and started massaging my brea*t and kissing on them. He then moved his hands down to my panties and ripped them off me. He got between my legs and kissed my inner thighs working his way up to my flower. When he got to my flower he gave no warning before he started to devour it as a wild animal does to its prey. I felt myself getting close and his pace never stopped even after I screamed from the pleasure of my orgas* he kept going at the same pace. I felt myself building up again but still, he kept going and before I knew it Hardin was soaked he stopped long enough to say “this bed is going to need to be replaced by the time I am done with you.” after an hour of him devouring my flower and causing me to soak both of us and half the bed he finally lined his member up to my entrance and said,

“I am going to make love to you until we both pass out from exhaustion.” and that is exactly what he did.

I woke up at 11:30 and was so sore I could hardly move. Hardin rolled over and said “we need another night like last night my love. I felt like I did when we first made love on the night of our engagement and the night we marked each other.” I smiled and said I felt the same way baby. We definitely needed to reconnect intimately. I missed you. He said, “I missed you too my love.”

he saw me flinch as I was trying to get up and said “let me go run you a bath so you can soak. I'm sorry I hurt you, my love.” I smiled and said you didn’t hurt me it’s been a while since we were intimate like that I'm just a little sore baby.

Once he ran my bath I got in and sat there for a while. When I got out Hardin was in the living room with our beautiful pups playing with them on the floor. I smiled and said let's get ready to go down for lunch.
