Aspen’s pov
When we got back to our suite I told Hardin that we needed to do something about Colette. He asked me what I was talking about and I told him, that since she has been flirting with Jakob and the other’s and how Anna keeps getting a bad vibe off of her and I told him about how at dinner Anna mind-linked me asking me to listen to some of the people in the dining halls conversations because she had a bad vibe.
He said, “so what did you hear?”
I told him that I didn’t tell Anna but someone and I wasn’t sure who exactly was talking about it but someone was saying something about tricking Jakob into being with them.
He looked at me and said, “do you think this is what the moon goddess was talking about?” I nodded my head and said I think it is Colette. The moon goddess came to see me right after she got here.
He said “that’s right she did. Wasn’t that the day I brought her and her pup up to the suite because he wouldn’t stop crying?” I said yes it was, it was right before you and Colette came up to the suite.
He said he was going to have Evander watch her and have Brie talk to some of the Omegas that she has been hanging around. I nodded and said lets put the pups to bed and have some us time. Hardin growled a low growl and his eyes changed letting me know Blaze was excited. I laughed and said Hardin I meant to talk and enjoy watching a movie or something. We have the rest of our lives for that my love.
He started pouting and said “fine.”
once we got the pups changed, fed, and laid in their beds we went and changed into something more comfortable and went and sat on the couch. Hardin asked what I wanted to do and I said let’s watch a movie. It’s been a while since we were able to sit back and enjoy one. He smiled and turned the tv on and flipped through to find a movie for us to watch. Once he found one we sat there and watched the whole movie.
Hardin’s pov
After we finished our movie I asked Aspen what she wanted to do next and she smiled at me and said “give me just a minute.” She grabbed her phone and texted someone.
A few seconds later she got a text and smiled and said “let’s go.” She grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the door. I stopped and said Aspen what are you doing? We can’t just leave the pups alone.
She smiled and said, “we aren’t leaving them alone Anna is watching from the monitor and we aren’t going to be gone all night.” I asked her where we were going and she said “come on Sapphire and Blaze need to be let out for a run.”
I raised my brow at her and she laughed and pulled me through the door. We headed out to the open field past the trail and she started stripping. Once we were both undressed and the moon was at its peak we shifted and took off running. After about an hour of letting our wolves run we headed back to the field and before we shifted back into our human form Blaze and Sapphire had some time to themselves. When they finally let us shift back we got dressed and headed back to our suite. I opened the door to find Anna and Jakob on the couch asleep with Silas and Cassia in their arms. Aspen grabbed her phone and took a picture. I cleared my throat and Jakob woke up and looked around the room. When he saw Aspen and I, he tapped Anna and she woke up. They put the pups back in their beds and said good night. After they left Aspen said,
“they looked like parents laying there with the pups didn’t they?” I laughed and said kind of reminded me of us when we first had the pups. Aspen said, “I think they are going to be great parents if or when the moon goddess blesses them.”
I nodded my head and said while we are on the subject of pups why don’t we go try for another? Aspen squealed and took off to our room. We made love for 2 hours before we both crashed and passed out.
Colette’s pov
I finally got Kellan to calm down and go to sleep now I'm sitting here making sure I have everything ready for tomorrow night. I can’t wait to see the look on little miss Annlynn’s face when she learns her mate has a pup and it’s with me. I even have a fake blood test for Kellan that a doctor from another pack wrote up for me in exchange for keeping quiet about us sleeping together. He requested DNA from the pack doctor here on all the royals and he even faked a signed paper from them stating he had permission. This pack doctor was so gullible that she sent them to him with no questions asked. Since I have all the paperwork including a fake birth certificate that I put the Beta’s name on as the father, now all I have to do is practice telling Beta Jakob that he is Kellan’s father and come up with a date that we slept together. I rehearsed a few times in the mirror then I went to bed.
