CH.7

Jakob’s pov

I woke up to the most beautiful sight I’ve ever seen. The love of my life laying next to me. She is the most beautiful woman in the world and I truly am thankful the moon goddess chose me to be her mate. I needed to go talk to Thomas and make sure he got everything for tomorrow night but I didn’t want to wake Anna and I didn’t want her to wake up and me not be in the bed. I decided I would call the kitchen and have them make us breakfast and I would go down and get it after I checked in with Thomas. I left Anna a note letting her know where I was in case she woke up. When I got to Thomas’s room he opened the door and let me in. he showed me everything he got for tomorrow and it was everything I asked for. He said to send him a text when I needed him to go set the room up and light the candles. After I left his room I went to the kitchen to pick up our breakfast and as I was heading back upstairs, Colette was walking down with her pup. I tried to avoid her but with me not wearing a shirt I ended up getting a whistle and I even heard her call me yummy. I shuttered when she said that. I seriously need to have a talk with Hardin and Aspen about asking her to leave. I am sick of her flirting and even after Hardin made that announcement she is still doing it. When I got back to my room Anna was still asleep. I sat the tray down and crawled on the bed next to her. I kissed her cheek up to her forehead and back down to her cheek. She giggled and opened her eyes.

She said “well good morning handsome.” I smiled and said good morning beautiful.

She rolled her eyes and said, “I'm not beautiful this morning I probably look like a troll.” I laughed and said ok fine you are a beautiful troll then.

Anna sat up grabbed the pillow and hit me with it and knocked me over. When I sat back up I leaned in for a kiss and said let’s eat before our food gets cold sweetheart. She looked at me confused and I smiled and said I went downstairs and got our food. I got up and grabbed the tray and set it on the bed in front of us. Once we finished our breakfast I asked Anna if she had given any thought to when she wanted to start moving her stuff into my room.

She looked at me and said, “I don't think there will be enough room for both of our things, my love, I think we need to have your room renovated and expanded.” I asked her where I would stay during this renovation and she said “with me in my room duh.”

I laughed and said I will talk to Hardin about getting my suite expanded. Anna asked what my plans were for the day and I told her I had a class to teach and then a meeting with Hardin and a client then I was free the rest of the day.

I asked why and she said, “I was just curious how long I had you for.” I said I have an hour before I have to go so I’d say about 45 minutes.

She smiled and said, “I wonder what we could do for 45 minutes?” I looked at her and said if you are thinking about what I am thinking you are then that’s going to be a big no, my love.

She huffed and asked why. I told her I wanted our first time together to be special and if I was going to make love to the love of my life I wanted to take my time and do it all night long instead of in 45 minutes. She said “fine can we at least make out?” I said that we can do my love.

We laid in bed and made out for almost 30 minutes when my phone rang and it was Alexander calling to let me know I had a new sign up. I got up and got ready to go down to fill the new student in on the class.

Annalynn’s pov

After Jakob left I called my mom and asked if I could come hang out with her until Aspen got up. She asked why I was waiting on Aspen to get up and I told her I needed to talk to Aspen about something. My mom told me to head to her room.

When I got there she opened the door and said “well?” I said well what?

She said “tell me how your night was. Was it everything you thought?” I looked at her confused for a moment then it hit me and I said oh my goddess mom really?

She said “what?” I told her Jakob and I hadn’t done anything yet and it wasn’t my choice.

She asked what that meant and I told her that he keeps telling me not now and says when we do he wants it to special. She put her hand over her heart and said,

“he loves and respects you so much to want to make it a night you will never forget, that is so romantic. I never thought I’d live to see the day Jakob Lee did something romantic for a woman.”

I laughed and said me neither and I most certainly never thought that woman would be me. Mom looked at me and said,

“you have always had a crush on him Annalynn.” I blushed and said I have not mom.

She laughed and said “yes you have. I used to find pieces of paper on your desk with his name on it inside a heart.” I put my head down and said shhh mom no one can ever know I liked Jakob before we became mates.

My mom laughed and said, “secret is safe with me darling.”

I got a notification on my phone from the triplets motion censored baby monitor letting me know either the triplets were up moving around or Aspen was awake. I opened the app. And checked the camera and Aspen was in there picking Cassia up to feed her. I stood up and told my mom I was going to help Aspen with the pups and she hugged me and said,

“give them kisses for me and I will see you all later.”

I headed upstairs and knocked on Hardin and Aspen’s door. Hardin opened the door in his towel and I said eww gross put some clothes on.

He laughed and said, “you are in my suite at 8 in the morning, get over it, sis.”

I headed to the nursery door and knocked Aspen told me to come in. she was about to change Cassia when I told her I would do it so she could feed Silas or Juniper.

She smiled and said, “how did you know I was up and in here?” I laughed and said the baby monitor went off and I checked it, I saw you picking Cassia up.

Once the triplets were all fed and changed we headed into the living room and sat there drinking coffee and watching the triplets play on their play mats. Hardin came in and kissed the pups and then kissed Aspen and said he would be back later and he left.

Aspen looked at me and said, “now what’s up Anna?” I looked at her and said what makes you think something is up?

She said “Anna it’s 8 in the morning and you are out of bed and came running up here when you saw I was awake. I’ve known you long enough to know when something is on your mind.”

I sighed and said fine I’ll tell you. I told her about how Jakob keeps telling me no when I bring up mating and it’s making me think he doesn’t want to.

She said “Anna it’s your first time and it seems like he wants things to be special so it will be something you never forget. There isn’t anything wrong with him wanting to do that for you. Hardin tried to make our first time special even though he didn’t know we were going to and trust me our first time will always be something I remember since it was the night we got engaged.” I asked her how do I start things.

She looked at me and said “start out kissing then take his shirt off and go from there. I can’t really tell you how it’s something you just go along with.”

after our talk, we took the triplets for a walk and then headed back for lunch. After lunch, Jakob said the meeting wouldn’t take long and he’d be back in about 30 minutes. When he got done he came to my room and we lay there watching movies and making out. When it was time for dinner we both got ready and headed down to the dining hall. Mrs. White and Mr. White were celebrating their anniversary so Mrs. White planned a big BBQ dinner. On our way into the dining hall, I got a vibe that something wasn’t right but I kept it to myself because I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it if I was wrong. When we got to our table I sent a mind-link to Aspen and asked her to listen in on a few people just to see if anything was going on and explained my vibe. She said she could hear several people talking and only one seemed a little shady but she said she couldn’t tell who it was. We let it go and decided to enjoy our dinner.
