CH.19

Annalynn’s pov

When I woke up Jakob was snoring and I had a headache. I got up and grabbed a bottle of water and some pain reliever and took it. I then went and jumped in the shower. When I got out Jakob was still asleep so I crawled on the bed and kissed him. He groaned and I said time to wake up babe we have a big day. Jakob opened his eyes and said,

“what time is it?” I said relax babe it’s 8:10. He sat up and said, “I need to take a shower.” He stood up and said, “but first I need something for this pounding headache.” I got him some pain relievers and a bottle of water and took them to him in the bathroom.

I told him I’d get him some clothes and bring them to him. He kissed me and told me thank you. After I got Jakob some clothes I took them into the bathroom and sat them on the counter. Jakob stuck his head out of the shower curtain and said,

"good choice babe." I told him I was going to run to my room to get a few things and I’d be right back.

When I walked out into the hallway Nikkoli and Zeke were putting up the cameras, they both bowed and said “Beta Annalynn.” I smiled and said you guys can call me Anna you know that. We’ve been friends my whole life. Nikkoli said,

"we don’t want to be disrespectful," I said the two of you can call me Anna when no one is around and I will tell Hardin you both have my permission. They both said “ok Anna. Have a good day.”

I went into my room and noticed that a few of my desk drawers had been opened and not closed all the way. I know it wasn’t me because I was with Jakob all night and I know they were closed yesterday morning. I walked into the hall and asked Nikkoli and Zeke if anyone else had been up here while they were up here and they said no. I went straight to Hardin’s office I opened the door and he was on the phone. When he hung up I screamed that bi*ch was in my f**king room too. He said,

“calm down down Anna what are you talking about?” I said I went to my room after staying in Jakob’s last night and my desk had been gone through.

Aspen walked up behind me and said “what is going on I heard screaming.” I turned and said that nasty bi*ch was in my f**king room either last night or before I got up this morning. My desk has been gone through.

Aspen looked at Hardin and said, “have the cameras been installed yet?” I said I just saw the guys and they are almost done installing them. She said, “Hardin this is getting ridiculous she needs to stop her sh*t before I flip out on her.”

Hardin said, “I have to have proof she is the one who is doing it so I can do things legally.” I sighed and said I know. I just want her to leave us alone. Hardin said, “I know sis I want things to go back to being peaceful in our pack again.”

I told them I had to go see if Jakob was ready to go get Kellan and Aspen said,

"I want Alexander to go with you just in case there are any issues.” I said I will tell Jakob to go get him before he leaves.

When I got back to Jakob’s room he was dressed and sitting on his bed. He said, “I wish you would come with me to get Kellan.” I said as of right now if I was to be anywhere near that nasty bi*ch I’d probably kill her.

He raised his brow and I said she was in my room too and went through my desk but don’t say anything to her let Hardin catch her on camera. He said “what is she looking for in our rooms? It’s not like we keep gold and diamonds in them and if we have any of that it’s in our wall safes.” I said I know babe I'm going to let it go until she is caught on camera. I said Aspen said go get Alexander before you head to her room in case of any issues. I kissed him and said get going and I will see you when you get back with Kellan.

Jakob’s pov

I left my room to go get Alex and then head to pick Kellan up. When I got to Colette’s room I knocked and I could hear her saying “Daddy is here to get you Kellan.” she opened the door only wearing a nighty that was pretty much see-through and Alex stepped in front of me and said,

“put something over that now. You will not disrespect the Beta and his Mate this way.” she rolled her eyes and said fine, it's only a nightgown."

Alex said “do not get smart with me Ms. Elm I am a high-level Omega and you are just a visitor here. I earned my right to call this my home.”

I busted out laughing at how Alex didn’t care who she was and didn’t hold back his comments. He is right though Him and Evanander did earn their right to call this home and she was being disrespectful to me and Anna. Alex stepped back and I said I’d like my son now. She went and picked him up and said,

“he can’t walk yet and he only says, mama. Here are his sleeping pills if he needs them because he is teething. I put a bunch of diapers in there because he pee’s a lot, He doesn’t like a lot of foods, mainly chicken and red meat. No vegetables but he does like fried potatoes. I only give him juice in his bottle at bedtime and nap time.”

I said ok I'm sure I can figure out what he likes or doesn’t like. I grabbed his bag from her and left. Kellan cried the whole way back to my room but as soon as I set him down on the floor with the toys we got for him he stopped. Anna said,

“that is a good sign. It means he feels comfortable.”

I sat down on the floor next to Kellan and tried to engage in playing with him but he screamed. Anna came and sat beside me and picked up a toy then started to talk to Kellan. He quit screaming and looked at us both and started playing with us and showing us each toy. Anna said,

“he should be able to talk by now at least a few words and maybe even trying to put sentences together.” I said she told me all he can say is mama, he can’t walk yet, he has to take sleeping pills because he is teething, he only drinks juice and he pee’s a lot.

Anna huffed and said “I'm sorry but obviously she is a sorry mother because you don’t give a pup sleeping pills for teething they take children's pain reliever or teething tablets, pups need milk at bedtime, not juice and he pee’s a lot because he drinks nothing but juice and it could hurt his kidneys drinking so much of it. He probably can’t talk or walk yet because she probably hasn’t been working with him on it.”

I said oh and he only eats chicken and red meats no vegetables other than fried potatoes. Anna stood up and said “oh my goddess that piece of trash is ridiculous. This pup should be eating more than that. I bet she hasn’t even tried to feed him anything other than chicken or red meat. I mean when I’ve seen her feeding him at dinner I don’t see him eating a lot then. You know what screw that. I’ll be back in a minute.” and she walked out of my room.

Kellan looked at the door and started to cry but I showed him a toy and he stopped. A few minutes later Anna came back and had a tray of homemade baby foods with her. She said, “Aspen had these for the pups and said I could have some for Kellan,”

I asked what we were doing with them and she said trying to see if he will eat them. 30 minutes later we found out Kellan liked a lot of the vegetables and fruits Mrs. White made the baby food with. Anna called Mrs. White and asked if she could make some of the ones he liked for him and Mrs. White said she would with no questions asked as to why Anna wanted them for Kellan. We sat in my room for the rest of the day getting Kellan used to being around us and him being in my room. He seemed to be ok with being here with us and not with Colette. When it was time for bed Anna came back with a bottle of warm milk with a drop of honey in it. Anna gave Kellan the bottle and he drank it with no problem he even went to sleep right after. He slept all night and didn’t cry once. I guess that warm milk with a drop of honey was what he was needing for a good night's sleep.
