Annalynn’s pov
When I woke up from my nap it was almost time for dinner. I woke Jakob up and told him to get ready. Once we were dressed we headed down to the dining hall and went to our table. Aspen and Hardin took the pups out to eat tonight so it’s just me, Jakob, Thomas, the twins, Brie, Faulkner and, Ember. Mrs. White cooked fish for dinner along with roasted vegetables and salad. Dinner was pretty quiet, I didn’t even look to see if that nasty she-wolf was staring but I'm sure she was. When Jakob and I finished dinner we decided to go see a movie. The drive there was nice and quiet. Jakob held my hand the entire way and kissed it a few times. He never ceases to amaze me at how sweet he can be. We got our snacks and went and sat in the middle of the theater. The movie was a romance and I figured Jakob would have fallen asleep but surprisingly he didn’t he actually cried a few times. When the movie was over we walked around the town for a little while we didn’t stay out too late since Jakob had his first visit with Kellan tomorrow. Before we headed home Jakob stopped at the store and when he came back out he had bought some liquor and wine coolers. I asked who it was for and he said
“us baby.” I raised my brow and said Jakob Lee you know I am underage and if my brother was to find out he’d kill both of us.
He laughed and said “ relax Anna. Hardin isn’t going to kill us over you drinking a wine cooler. Hardin drank hard liquor at your age.” I took a deep breath and said fine I’ll drink one when we get home.
When we got back to the packhouse we went to Jakob’s room and noticed the door was cracked. Jakob said,
“I know I closed my door this morning but I don’t remember locking it.” I mind-linked Hardin and asked if he had been in Jakob’s room and he said he hadn’t.
Aspen and Hardin came down and asked what was going on and when Hardin saw what was in Jakob’s hand he gave me a look. I said don’t even I haven’t drank anything and if I do at least I am going to be in my mate's room in our home. He threw his hands up and said,
“I was messing with you, Anna. I don’t care if you have a drink as long as you are here.”
Aspen asked if Jakob had locked his door when he left and he said he couldn’t remember. I said I bet I know who it was. Everyone looked at me and I said do you all really have to ask who did it? Hardin asked why I thought it was Colette. I said really? Let’s see, she has been flirting with my mate knowing I am his mate, she has no respect for anyone oh, and um she tells my mate he has a pup with her. Aspen said “Hardin I think Anna is right. No one else dares to come up here unless it is an emergency and who in our pack has the balls to break into the Beta’s room even if the door is unlocked?” Hardin put his head down and said,
“I don’t have any proof but I will be installing cameras tomorrow at the end of the stairs pointing towards each room."
Jakob and I said thank you and they went back upstairs. Jakob looked around his room and didn’t see anything out of place so we decided to stay in his room.
Jakob’s pov
I wanted to ease the anxiety I had about my visit with Kellan tomorrow so I bought myself a bottle of liquor just to have a shot or two and I got Anna a pack of wine coolers. Coming home to find out someone was in my room has my blood boiling and now I want to drink the whole bottle to take my mind off of everything. I am getting tired of Colette thinking she can do whatever she wants and get away with it just because we have a son together. I hope that with Hardin putting the cameras up that she gets caught red-handed doing something she was told not to do and Hardin banishes her or locks her up. Maybe Kellan would be better off with me and Anna raising him, I mean when I see Colette now she never has Kellan with her unless it’s at dinner. Goddess only knows where she is taking my son while she is out doing whatever and driving me crazy. After I checked my room to see if anything had been taken and found nothing was gone Anna and I decided to stay in my room. I opened the bottle and just drank from it.
I handed Anna a wine cooler and she said “I am only drinking one Jakob.” I said that’s fine baby.
I turned the tv on and Anna found a movie for us to watch. Anna finished her wine cooler and I was still drinking from the liquor bottle, Anna asked if I was ok and I said yeah just trying to take my mind off of everything that has been going on. She sighed and said,
“I thought all the drama was done and over with for this family with Daphanie and Mikael died,” I said me too baby but life throws curve balls and we are on the receiving end of this one.
Anna asked for another wine cooler and I asked her if she was sure she wanted to drink another one, she looked at me and said,
“yeah I think I need it.” I handed her another one and I took another swig from my bottle.
By the time the movie was over I had drunk almost all of my liquor and Anna was up dancing to music on her phone. I sat there and watched her sway her hips back and forth. She looked so calm and at peace at the moment. I got up and walked up behind her and pulled her close to me she didn’t stop swaying she kept moving as she pushed her butt back further. Malachi let out a low se*ual growl and I wrapped my hand around her waist and followed her movement. She straightened her body and let her head fall back on my chest as we moved together. I leaned down and whispered you are so damn beautiful baby and I kissed her cheek. She turned around and put her hands around my neck and we swayed back and forth for a while. Anna finally looked up at me and the look she was giving me was the look of want and need. I crashed my lips into hers and she reached for the bottom of my shirt. Once my shirt was off Anna ran her finger down my chest and stopped st my pants. She then unbuttoned them and as I was taking them off she stripped into her bra and panties. I pulled her back to me and we swayed more to the music. The bare skin touching made it feel like I was being shocked by electricity. Between the liquor and the arousal from watching my mate's body sway and feeling her against me, I wanted to throw her to the floor right where we stood and roughly worship her body until the sun comes up but I know Anna hasn’t experienced me being rough yet and I didn’t want to accidentally hurt her since we both had been drinking so I picked her up and gently laid her on the bed and kissed up and down her body. Anna took her bra off and I took her panties off then my boxers and I made love to my beautiful mate until I passed out. When I woke up the sun hadn’t come up yet and Anna’s head was on my chest, I smiled at the sight before me and I decided to go back to sleep for a little while.
