Annalynn’s pov

It’s been a few days since that new woman got here and every time I see her she is either eyeballing Jakob, Thomas, or one of the twins. I don’t understand how someone who comes into our pack looking for a place to stay can be disrespectful like that. I mean Evander and Brie are together almost every second of the day when he isn’t on duty and Alex talks about Ember constantly. Jakob even wears a bracelet I had made for him that has our names on it. Poor Thomas doesn’t have a mate yet but he said he isn’t interested in anyone right now. I honestly think Thomas may be into guys because I haven’t seen him with a girl in a long time. Aspen is taking me to go pick out a dress for my birthday party and we are leaving in a few minutes. I headed downstairs to wait for Aspen. When I sat down in the living room area I saw that woman and her pup coming down the stairs, she was walking with Ember and they were laughing. Ember saw me sitting there and walked over to me, she said,

“hey, Annalynn.” I said hey back to her.

She asked what I was doing and I told her I was waiting for Aspen to come down so we could go shopping for my birthday dress. She asked if I had been introduced to the new woman and her pup yet and I told her we met briefly when she arrived but I didn’t catch their names. She waved the new woman over and said ,

"Annalynn this is Colette Elm and her son Kellan Elm."

I said hello and she asked who I was to the pack, I told her I was the Alpha’s sister and I was the Beta’s mate. She looked me up and down and said,

“you don’t look old enough for a mate, you look like you are about 16 how old are you?” I looked at her and said I will be 18 in 4 days.

She asked how I knew I was the Beta’s mate if I wasn’t 18 yet. By this point I was feeling insulted by her saying I looked like a kid and being so nosy I looked at her and said I'm blessed and his wolf told him we were mates. I saw Aspen coming down the stairs and I looked at Ember and said see you later I have to go and I walked off. When we got in the car Aspen asked what was wrong with me and I told her about how nosy the new Colette woman was being. She looked at me and said,

“what kind of vibe do you get from her?” I told her not a good one because every time I see her she is eye f**king my man, Thomas, or the twins.

Aspen gasped and said, “is she really being that disrespectful?” I told her she was and I also told her I found out today that her son has her last name.

I asked if she and Hardin got any information on her the day she got here and she shook her head and said, "

all she told them was she needed a place to stay and that her son's father was killed in an attack."I asked if they found out what pack she was from and she said,

“all we know is she said she came from a pack out west.”

I said doesn’t it seem a little odd that she only gave you a little information about her? I mean anyone looking for a pack to stay in even temporarily wouldn’t mind giving their back story and a reason as to why they need a place to stay. Aspen looked at me and said,

“you are right Anna but your parents insisted we help her and not ask too many questions, it was like they knew her or knew the pack she was from.” I sat there and thought about what could have been the reason she needed a place to stay and why she didn’t give much information on herself until we arrived at the dress store.

When we went into the shop owner told me to walk around and check out some dresses that I might like and let her know which ones and she would pull them for me to try on. After an hour and a half of trying on dresses, Aspen came to my door as I was about to put my clothes back on and give up on looking at this store and said,

“Anna I found one more dress and I believe it is the one for you.” I sighed and said fine let me see it.

I opened the dressing room door and she handed me the dress bag. I closed the door and unzipped the bag and saw a lavender-colored dress that felt like it was made from silk. I pulled it out and put it on, I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled. I love this dress. I opened the door and walked out onto the pedestal Aspen gasped and said

“Anna you look absolutely beautiful in that dress.” I smiled and said I love this dress, Aspen.

She nodded and the store owner came and asked if this was the one. Aspen and I both said yes at the same time and the store owner started laughing. She said,

“ok then ladies I will be waiting at the counter once you are ready to check out.” I went back into the dressing room to change and when I came back out Aspen was on her phone texting, someone.

I cleared my throat and said I'm ready. She nodded and we headed to the counter. The drive home was pretty quiet as far as conversations go but we both sang along to the radio and some songs we screamed at the top of our lungs like little teenage girls. When we pulled up to the pack land gate Aspen asked me if Jakob and I were going to do anything after my party and I said well, as far as I know, we were just going to watch a movie or something. Aspen started laughing and said,

“I meant s*xual Anna.” I looked over at her and turned red.

I said I don’t know if we are or not. He said he wanted to wait until I turned 18 but I don’t know if that means the night of. Aspen asked me if I wanted to the night of my birthday and I nodded my head. She said,

“Anna are you sure? I mean don’t just say you do because you know Jakob wants to. You need to make sure it is something you are ready for and not just trying to get out of the way.” I nodded and said I am sure I have been thinking about it a lot lately and I am ready to mate with the love of my life.

I looked out the window and said Aspen how bad does it hurt? She stopped the car and turned to me and said,

“Anna I'm not going to lie and say it only hurts a little because it hurts like hell when he first enters you. After a few minutes, the pain does subside and it becomes pleasurable and it will sting a little the first couple of thrusts after the pain eases and more than likely you will cry but don’t be embarrassed it is normal and one other thing Anna, you will probably bleed a little after he enters.” I asked why I would bleed and she explained about him stretching my flower and it tearing my hymn causing it to bleed some.

We saw Jakob and Hardin coming out the door with the triplets and Aspen jumped out of the car and ran to them kissing each one of her babies. I smiled watching this and whispered to the moon goddess to please bless me with a family like my brother. Jakob opened my door and helped me out. I saw Silas looking back at me and he started squealing. I walked up to him and said hello Aunt Anna’s Lil man and I kissed his chunky little cheek. We all headed inside and Jakob walked me to my room, he handed me my dress bag and said,

“I bet it is beautiful sweetheart and I can’t wait to see you wearing it.” he kissed my cheek and I said come in babe I want to talk.

He walked in and sat on my bed and said “what’s wrong sweetheart?” I said nothing is wrong babe I just wanted to talk about my birthday.

He looked at me confused and said,

“what about your birthday baby?” I felt myself blushing and I looked down at the floor and said I wanted to know if you were wanting to complete our bond after my party.

He lifted my chin and said,

“sweetheart when you are ready to mate we will. I don’t expect you to hop in bed with me after your party just because you turn 18. I want your first time to be special and not rushed.” I smiled at him and said I am ready babe.

He said “Anna, I don’t want to do it like that baby. I want that night to be all about you and not our mate bond. I promise you I am ok with waiting sweetheart.” I pushed him back on my bed and said don’t move Jakob Lee I walked to my door and locked it.

I crawled on top of him and crashed my lips into his. At first, he was hesitant but he gave in and wrapped his arms around me, and deepened our kiss. He flipped us over and I wrapped my legs around his waist and started pulling his shirt over his head. He broke our kiss and said,

“Anna not now baby not like this.” I said we aren't going to do anything so shut it and kiss me.

He crashed his lips into mine and we made out for a while his shirt was the only thing that was taken off I was still fully dressed. I did notice him grinding his member against me a few times and I wanted to give in and grind myself against his member but I knew if I did he would end up exploding in his pants and I would end up soaking through mine. I won't lie and say I wasn’t turned on because he smirked a few times and let out a low deep growl. I knew he could smell my arousal. After our makeout sessions, I change my pants and Jakob went to shower because he needed to take care of himself. I took a nap then We met up at the stairs and headed down for dinner.
