CH.2

Annalynn’s pov

I love spending time with my nieces and my nephew. It is preparing me for when I have a pup or pups of my own. After our walk, we headed back to the packhouse, when we got to the front door my parents were standing there with a woman who had a pup in her arms. The pup had to of been a little over a year old. I asked my parents who the woman was and they told me she was traveling and needed somewhere to stay for now. I said hello to the woman and asked how old her pup was she smiled at me and said,

“he is a year and a half.”

my parents said they needed Hardin and Aspen to take her to Hardin’s office and see to it she had a place to stay for now. As Jakob and I took the triplets upstairs and back to the suite I noticed the woman staring hard at Jakob. I let it go only because I know women look at him all the time because well let’s face it my mate is hot as h*ll. When we got up to Hardin and Aspen’s suite we put the triplets in their beds and went Jakob went to make their bottles while I changed them. Thankfully Aspen started leaving milk in the fridge for us when we watch them. After we fed the triplets and put them down for their nap, Jakob and I went and sat on the couch. He turned the tv on and I slide closer to him. I looked at him and said so that woman from downstairs was eye f**king you when we were walking upstairs. Jakob froze and said,

“no she wasn’t.”

I laughed and said oh she was totally eye f**king you babe. He cut his eyes at me and said,

“can we watch tv and not talk about some chick looking at me? I have the love of my life and you eye f**king me is all I care about sweetheart.”

I smiled at his response because I am the only person who matters in his eyes. I turned and we watched tv until Aspen and Hardin came back. After we left the suite Jakob asked me if I wanted to go get a snack and I smiled and said yes I would love to go get a snack with you babe. We headed to the kitchen and passed Ember as we walked through the dining hall. I asked her where she was headed and she said ,

“up to the room of the woman who just got here.”

I nodded and Jakob and I walked into the kitchen. Jakob told me to sit down and he made us both a snack. We sat there and ate then headed to the rec room to watch a movie.

Unknown woman’s pov

After the Omega left from getting me some clean sheets for mine and Kellan’s bed, I put him down for a nap. I pulled out my notebook and went through the possible males at this pack who I can pick from to say one of them is Kellan’s father if I want my son to have a title other than a rogue wolf. The Alpha is a no-go because apparently, he waited until he found his mate before sleeping with someone. That leaves the Beta, Gamma, and the 3 high-rank Omega guards. Now all I have to do is find out how long they have been with their mates before I pick one. When Kellan gets up from his nap I'm going to go walk around and talk to some of the Omegas to get the information I need. Once Kellan got up we headed downstairs and I walked around and spoke to several pack Omegas trying to get as much information as I could on the few males I picked. I got a good bit on the Gamma and the twins but not much on the Beta.
