CH.4

Jakob’s pov

After leaving Anna’s room I headed back to my room to take a shower and deal with the issue in my pants. When I got out I laid back on my bed and thought about what Anna asked about. I didn’t want her to feel like she had to give up her virginity the same night she turned 18 just because we are mates. I wanted the night we completed our bond to be magical for her. I needed to talk to a woman and get their opinion on what would be considered a magical night and there was only one woman I knew I could talk to and trust and that was Aspen. I sent her a mind-link and asked if she was free to talk for a few minutes and give some advice. She said she was putting the triplets in their beds and would meet me in her office in 10 minutes. I got dressed and went up to wait for her in her office. When she walked in she jumped I guess from not expecting to see me when she walked in. she said,

“I have a feeling I know where this is going to end up going.” I rubbed the back of my neck and said I feel a little awkward even being here to talk about this but I need help.

She sat down and said “I'm all ears and there is no judgment from me on whatever it is you need advice on. You know you can trust me, Jakob.” I said I know and that is why I came to you.

Other than Anna and Aunt Amanda you are the only other female I trust in this pack with my personal issues. She looked at me and said,

“well tell me what is going on and what you need my advice about.”

I rubbed the back of my neck again and said well Anna and I were talking after y’all got back from shopping and she asked about us mating and I told her I did not expect her to complete the bond the night of her birthday and I told her I was ok waiting until she was ready. Aspen looked at me with her brow raised and said,

“so what is the issue?”

I said she said she is ready and then she um... Well, she pushed me back on her bed and attacked my lips. Aspen laughed and said,

“well ok then get it, Anna.” I looked at her shocked and said no let’s not get it, Anna, not yet anyway.

Aspen asked what advice I was looking for and I said well I want your opinion on what would be considered a magical night. She looked at me and said,

“have you never done anything romantic for any of the girls you’ve been with?” I shook my head and she said “really Jakob? You seem like a guy who would wine and dine a girl.”

I put my head down and said before I found out Anna and I were mates I was a man who*e and it was get in bed and that was it. I didn’t want to be in a relationship and I wasn’t into wine and dine type dates. I was into the dining part but not food. Aspen said,

“ok no need to go any further. I’ll give you a few ideas and you can choose one or come up with your own.”

I nodded and said I really appreciate this Aspen, I don’t want Anna to think it’s only about s*x I want her to experience the passion and love from the mate bond while we are being intimate. She nodded and said,

“ok you can take her out to eat then go for a walk under the stars then come back and flirt with her to get things started, you can take her on a picnic dinner out in the field and star gaze then when you are laid back you can whisper sweet things to her, or you can take her out to eat or to the movies or wherever come back and go to your room where candles are lit all over our room, roses and rose petals are on the floor and bed, get her a little sentimental gift and have it waiting with a bouquet then when she kisses you to thank you pull her close and deepen the kiss but not aggressively be soft and gentle.”

I looked at her and smiled and said the last one got my heart racing so I think I know what I am going to do. Thank you so much Aspen.

She smiled and said, “you’re welcome Jakob. And if you need any more advice on you and Anna come to me because going to Hardin is probably going to end in you getting beat up.” I laughed and said that’s why I came to you instead of him.

I told her thank you again and left her office I went back to my room and started planning our special night for 2 days after Anna’s birthday.

Aspen’s pov

Once Jakob left my office I went back to our suite to get ready for dinner. I had to get the triplet's clothes set out and get myself dressed. Hardin left to go take care of final approvals for Anna’s party tomorrow. I jumped in the shower and when I got out I got dressed. I was sitting on the couch pumping for the triplets later when the moon goddess popped in.

“hello my child.” I said hello and asked what she was doing here.

She smiled and said, “I am just checking in on the pups.” I said they are fine and growing as they should.

She smiled and said, “why do you seem annoyed with my presence, my child?” I told her I wasn’t annoyed I just knew her presence meant something bad.

She chuckled and said, “you know me so well don’t you Aspen?” I cut my eyes at her and said what is it another jealous obsessed she-wolf who wants my husband?

She said, “this time isn’t isn’t about you and Hardin my child but it is someone close to you both and you know I can’t tell you who or what it is that it will happen to.” I rolled my eyes and said, of course, you can’t.

What is it I need to do to sort this upcoming situation out?

She looked at me and said “excuse me young lady but when did rudeness become part of you? You have always been such a sweet girl.”

I said I'm sorry moon goddess but having to deal with all the crap I’ve dealt with since coming here with Daphanie and Mikael then 3 pups to take care of on top of a pack and a husband I’ve been a little moody.

She chuckled and said, “try to breathe my child, this threat isn’t one that could bring death upon anyone as far as I can see.” I asked when this was all supposed to take place and she said “soon” and then disappeared.

I heard the door handle jiggle and I fixed my shirt. Thankfully I did because Hardin walked in with the woman Colette and her pup. I looked at Hardin and said what is going on?

He said “she needs help with her pup Kellan. He isn’t wanting to sleep and she has tried everything but he keeps crying.”

I looked at her and then looked at her son and said take him to see Doctor Morris he is more than likely cutting new teeth and is having a hard time getting them to come through. She will give him something to help ease his pain and make him comfortable enough to get some sleep. Hardin had an omega come up and escort her to the pack hospital. Hardin could sense something was bothering me so once Colette left he asked what was wrong. I told him it was more crap to deal with but no clue when or who. He looked at me confused and I said moon goddess came to see me.

He raised his brow and said, “what now another jealous she-wolf?” I busted out laughing and said I asked that same thing when she popped in.

I said no she says it isn’t us this time but couldn’t tell me who or what is going to happen.

He said “of course not.” just then we heard one of the triplets cry which meant it was time to get them ready for dinner. Hardin helped me get them changed and dressed and while we were doing it I asked if everything was finalized for tomorrow.

He nodded and said “everything is ready and the omegas will be setting up later on tonight after dinner.” we finished getting the triplets ready and then we headed down for dinner.

Colette’s pov

I knew what was wrong with Kellan I was just needing a way to get something to help him sleep that way I could use it in my plan to get the Beta. I planned on slipping the sleep aid into his drink tomorrow night and somehow getting him to let me into his room. If I want this plan to work I have to make it look like we were talking about us sleeping together and telling him Kellan is his so he will give Kellan his last name. Once the doctor gave me the sleep aid she asked if I had any other concerns with Kellan and I said no he has been fine other than not sleeping. She nodded and said if I had any other issues to come back. I told her thank you and left. I was going to head straight to dinner but I saw the Beta and his mate coming down the stairs and I saw an opportunity to get close to him I started walking up the stairs and purposely bumped into him. He said “excuse me I am sorry” I looked at him and said it’s ok Beta Jakob no worries hun and I looked him straight in the eyes and smiled. He put his head down and walked on. His mate looked back at me and gave me a sour look. I smiled and went to put the sleep aid in my room. I then went back down for dinner. I made sure to sit where I could make eye contact with the Beta and flirt. Every chance I got I would smile at him and flip my hair. I knew he saw me because he would turn his head quickly and look down or around the room. I watched him closely and made sure he knew I was flirting. One thing about me is no one has been able to resist me not even the Alpha of my old pack. Which is why I’ve been traveling. I was kicked out of my pack for sleeping with my Alpha and ruining his bond with his mate and his Luna. he was hot and she was far from pretty so why not let him see what it is like with a hot girl instead of the troll he was with. I had just had Kellan and needed a good lay since the rogue who knocked me up disappeared. I couldn’t blame it on the Alpha since I had already had Kellan but no one could really know who his father was. We ended up getting caught by his mate and she went to the Elders and asked that my son and I be banned from our pack. The Elders agreed since I was responsible for breaking the destined bond between the Alpha and his Luna, even though he was part of it too. After dinner, the Beta and his mate went back upstairs to their floor and as I was heading up the stairs I heard them laughing and it made me want to gag. His mate is too young for him and I know she couldn’t please him the way I can. I went to my room and locked the door, I sat down and started looking up how much it would take of the sleep aid to impair someone. Once I got the information I needed I put Kellan to bed and I laid down.
