Jakob’s pov
After dinner, Anna and I took Kellan back upstairs but we went to Hardin and Aspen’s suite and waited on them to get back from getting the triplets. We talked about it at dinner and decided to get the pups together and see how Silas and Kellan react to one another. We waited outside the door even though we have a key to get in. when they got back we all went inside and set the pups down on the floor. Kellan looked around like he was lost at first but then crawled over to the pups and picked up a toy. Juniper and Cassia didn’t seem to mind him playing with them but Silas was acting how I thought he would. He sat off to the side and watched Kellan. He then crawled up to me and wanted me to hold him. I sat down with him on the floor and he crawled into my lap. Kellan saw Silas in my lap and didn’t even move, he kept playing with the girls. Aspen sat down next to me and tried to get Silas to come to her but he refused. He screamed “my AK AK” and started crying. I hugged him and said it’s ok Lil man Uncle Jak isn’t going anywhere. Hardin tried to get Silas to come to him but he wasn’t even paying Hardin any attention. Silas clung to me like he was never going to see me again. Anna went and sat by Kellan and Silas threw a fit yelling “my NA NA” Aspen and Anna both said it was going to take time for Silas to get used to Kellan since he was so close to Jakob. Hardin tried to get Silas to play with the girls and Kellan but he wouldn’t let go of me. We let the pups play for an hour and then when I went to pick Kellan up Silas had a meltdown and Hardin had to take him into the nursery so I could get Kellan and we could leave. It broke my heart seeing Silas that upset but I know he is used to me spending as much time with him as I could and now he has to share me and he doesn’t understand it. When we got back to my room I put Kellan in his playpen and Anna made him a bottle. Kellan fell asleep as soon as he finished his bottle. I went into the bathroom and cried. Anna opened the door and asked what was wrong and I said that killed me seeing Silas that upset because of Kellan.
She said, “babe you have to understand he is used to it just being us and them now Kellan is in the picture and he doesn’t understand Kellan is your pup.” I said I know but it still hurt. I don’t want the bond between Silas and i to break. I love the triplets like they were my own and I don’t want anything to ever break the bond I have with them.
Anna kissed my cheek and said, "you will have to take Kellan around Silas more and show them both attention until he understands things.” I pulled her into a hug and said I love you Annalynn and I am so grateful that the moon goddess chose you to be my mate. You always know what to say to make me feel better. We watched some tv and fell asleep.
Colette’s pov
I woke up and my guest from last night was still in my bed. I knew Jakob would be bringing Kellan back today at some point so I tried to wake him up so he could leave. I shook him and said hey I need you to get up I have things to do today but he wasn’t waking up. I had to check and make sure he was still breathing. He was of course. I huffed and said I’ll figure out how to wake him later and went to jump in the shower. When I got out I put my robe on and went to get my clothes from my dresser when I heard a knock on the door. I went and opened the door to find Jakob standing there with Kellan. I hid behind the door and said ok hand Kellan over and let me get back to getting dressed.
Jakob raised his brow and said, “why are you acting weird?” I said I'm not I'm just trying to get dressed.
He said “any other time you would be flaunting yourself trying to get my attention but today you are in a hurry to get dressed?”
just as he finished saying that my guest woke up and said, “tell whoever is at the door to leave and come back to bed.” Jakob said “oh so you have a dude in there and that’s why you are in such a hurry to get me to hand Kellan to you. He said screw that I am not going to give him to you while you have some strange guy in your bed and around our son.”
I huffed and said I don’t want to fight with you Jakob give Kellan to me and leave. What I do in my room is my business whether Kellan is here or not. Who knows what our son has watched you and little miss priss Annalynn do while he is with you.
Jakob growled and said “Listen and Listen good Colette, Anna and I are mates but we both have enough respect for Kellan than to do anything while he is in the room with us. Matter of fact we haven’t done anything at all besides kiss while we have had Kellan not that it is any of your business.”
as I was reaching for Kellan my guest pushed past me and Jakob yelled “Walker?”
I said that’s what his name was under my breath but Jakob heard me and said “you have been sleeping with him but don’t even know his name?” he turned and said “be careful man you’ll end up like me.” and he held Kellan up. Walker took off down the stairs and I grabbed Kellan and said I will see you in 2 days and I slammed the door in his face.
Jakob’s pov
When I left from Colette’s room I went back to my room and said you will never believe who I just caught Colette sleeping with. Anna yelled from the shower “who?” I said Walker was in Colette’s room and I heard him tell her to come back to bed. The water turned off and Anna got out she opened the bathroom door and said “are you freaking serious?” I nodded and said guess what else.
She said “what?” I said she didn’t even know his name. Anna shook her head and said, "yeah Kellan needs to be with us full time."
I stood there at the bathroom door watching Anna dry her hair when her towel fell when she went to grab it I said no leave it on the floor. I want to watch you dry your hair like that. She said, “Jakob we don’t have time for that you have a class to teach today.” I said I know and I'm not wanting to do that right now baby I just want to admire your body as you dry your hair. She blushed but left the towel on the floor and finished getting ready. I grabbed my bag and headed out to the gym for my class.
