Emily was with Lydia and the rest inside the class after Eric took her there himself. Of course, it took Mrs. Vanessa, the class teacher for air magic, to make the girls shut up after seeing Eric.
Despite the not-promising start for Emily with the girls, she really enjoyed the class. The class was quiet with the presence of only airbenders, and it seemed to Emily, in a way she did not understand, that airbenders were very refreshingly cheerful, so the day was really fun for Emily, contrary to what she expected. She didn't feel the same tired or left-out feeling from yesterday either.
Mrs. Vanessa approached Emily, who was watching Lydia and her friends play with air, and said, "So, Miss Winter, would you like to try the spell?"
Emily was confused and said, "But, um, but I can't."
Vanessa smiled at her and said, "Why don't you give it a little push? It won't hurt anyone, right?"
Emily sighed nervously; she really didn't want a wave of laughter at her like what happened in the class yesterday; she literally failed all the spells, but despite that, she went after Mrs. Vanessa to a place inside the hall that was like a glass room; that place was designated for young witches or Beginners to learn air spells, so they don't end up destroying something or hurting those around them.
When everyone saw Emily with Mrs. Vanessa inside the glass room, everyone stopped what they were doing to watch what Emily would do.
Mrs. Vanessa stood in front of her and said, "Now, Miss Winter, you just have to breathe calmly. Tension won't help you. It's very simple. Air magic depends entirely on your breathing. No matter how weak your physical ability, as long as your breathing is stable, you can perform any spell you want."
Emily nodded to her and began to breathe slowly to relieve her tension. Her back was towards her classmates, so she did not realise that everyone was staring at her, so she did not find it difficult to relax with Mrs. Vanessa's reassuring and encouraging smiles.
"First, close your eyes," Vanessa said as she started circling around Emily. "Feel the air moving. Gradually, you'll feel your body as free as a feather. It's a wonderful feeling, Emily. You'll love it."
Emily followed Vanessa's words with her eyes closed, while a small smile began to form on Emily's mouth. While she really began to feel her body become lighter, the air was really refreshing her, and without realising it, Emily was already able to control the air around her until the locks of her long hair began to move.
Vanessa smiled at this improvement and then said, "Now, Emily, imagine small, light flaps of circles circling around you, then use your hands to make circles like them."
Emily did that, only to be surprised by fresh air hitting her face. Then, with a giggle, Vanessa said, "Now open your eyes."
Emily was surprised by herself as she literally floated in the air, and around her were small circles of wind that raised her. She almost lost her balance for a moment from surprise, but she kept her circular hand movement until she was able to land safely. After that, she heard shouts of encouragement from Lydia and her friend to her, so Emily laughed with them and then looked at Vanessa and thanked her, then returned to her place with a smile on her face that did not leave her until the end of the class.
The classes came after that one by one, and unexpectedly, Emily was able to perform many small spells, and she was feeling a refreshing energy like the rest, and even more than them for her unexpected success, until she gained great confidence, and she felt that she was gradually returning to the personality she had with Mark and Mia in the human's land.

The first break began, and Emily went out with Lydia and the rest to eat, but she was surprised that Aiden was in the same place where she saw him yesterday. She was expecting to see Eric, so she was disappointed, which was quickly erased by Aiden's smile as he approached her, and she said, "Hey, Angel Boy!"
Lydia jumped into the conversation before it even started and said, "Don't say you're friends."
"Is there anything wrong with that, witch?" said Aidan.
Lydia said bluntly, "I just don't like you."
"Lydia, please," said Emily warningly.
Contrary to what Emily expected, Aiden laughed and then said, "Thank God, I don't have to worry about breaking your heart then."
Now Emily was looking at them with amusement, and she saw both of them teasing each other, and she felt that it might be a good start for their friendship, but suddenly she remembered something and said, "Won't Sarah come, or are we going to her?"
"Sarah might probably be in the lake by now," said Lydia.
Emily raised her eyebrows and said, "Why? Won't she have lunch with us?"
Lydia sighed. "I don't think so."
Emily was about to drown in her thoughts, but Aiden's voice quickly pulled her out, saying, "Where's your wolf?"
Emily shrugged and said, "I don't know, but why?"
"He was really worried about you yesterday," Aiden said while scratching his neck.
And Emily said, "Oh, thanks for yesterday, by the way."
Aidan's gaze suddenly changed as he said, "This was nothing in return for helping me in the morning."
"Oh right, I remembered," said Lydia as they started walking towards the cafeteria. "Your major training was today, right."
Aiden nodded and said, "And Em helped me a lot; how did you know he was hiding something, by the way?"
Before Emily could answer, who didn't notice the nickname Aiden had given her, Lydia teased him, "Wait a minute, did you just call her by a nickname, ooohh beware angel boy, her mate can bite!"
Emily rolled her eyes at Lydia's comment and didn't say anything. Aiden said, "I know; thanks for the reminder."
Then he looked at Emily while waiting for her answer, so she shrugged her shoulders and said, "I don't know; that was just a hunch."
Aidan furrowed his brows and didn't say anything. Aidan knew that some witches could predict the future or see things that no one else could see, but he also knew that a wizard or a witch would have to be very powerful to reach this level; even a witch queen sometimes couldn't transcend these abilities. How did Emily manage to do that when she didn't even make it through a small fire spell?
As they made their way to the cafeteria, Fay appeared out of nowhere and stood in front of Lydia and Emily, completely ignoring Aiden's presence, then said, "Well, Well, what do we have here?"
Emily rolled her eyes, while Lydia said, "b***h, get lost."
Fay approached them, and Aiden stood in front of Emily immediately. It was an unconscious movement from him; he even seemed surprised by himself, but he quickly hid his surprised facial expression.
Fay turned to him and said, "Move, bird, before I burn your wings."
Emily's eyes glowed with anger, but no one noticed, and before she could do anything, Lydia came forward while her hair turned red as well as her eyes and said, "You have two seconds to drag your ass away; if you don't, we will both know who will regret it."
Fay's eyes reddened as well as the tips of her hair, and they were both about to use their fire abilities, but suddenly, before both of them could do anything, they were both surrounded by rings of radiant magic, completely weakening Fay's abilities until she fell to the ground while breathing heavily, while Lydia fought back vigorously. As she turned to the garden, she said, "You i***t Balder, take your spell away from me."
Baldr laughed while Emily turned to him with curiosity, and Aiden was still standing in front of her. He had somewhat long golden hair; it wasn't blonde, but it was literally golden, and his eyes were the same colour. And he said, "Oops, pardon my manners, my precious."
Lydia faked vomit and then said, "Eww, don't ever call me that."
Baldr didn't give a damn about her comment; Lydia always treated him the same nasty way, but he turned to Aiden, or rather to Emily, who was behind Aiden, and said, "Hello, little girl."
Aiden's eyes immediately sparkled, and Baldr said, raising his eyebrows, "Wow, I know she had a mate, but as far as I know, it wasn't you."
Lydia rolled her eyes and said, "What are you doing here, Balder? What do you want?"
Balder shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know." Then he looked back at Emily and said, "I saw that little one, and then I saw Fay, and here I am, just protecting her with no idea why I'm doing that."
Before anyone could answer, Eric suddenly appeared, saying with a bit of a harsh tone, "So someone else will join us, fantastic!"
Then he looked at Lydia and said, "Move us to your mother's castle, witch."
