Chapter 9: The Matchmaker Siblings 2

"How's school?" Nate asked the twins.

"Same old, same old." Naoki said as he munch on a piece of carrots that Katie already chopped.

"Yeah, same old girls stalking Naoki." Natsumi told them. "They're so annoying. They wanted to be close to me because of Naoki, and they want to be with Naoki because they know our family background." She rolled her eyes.

Katie smirked. "Maybe they want to be a Hollywood actress or something."

"Then they should be going after Luke-niisan, since he's the CEO of the entertainment company or Nate-niisan if they wanted to be a supermodel." Natsumi pointed out.

Nate grimaced. "Good thing I didn't experience that in high school or college."

Katie glared at him. "You would think so! While you're so oblivious back in high school and college, every girl near yoir vicinity was looking at me like they have daggers in their eyes and wanted to eliminate me. Like I'm the one who's blocking them from you! Did you forget all those girls looking murderous when we're always together at school?"

Nate coughed as he rubbed his head. "Is that so? Why didn't you say anything about it back then?"

"Because it'll annoy them if they see how oblivious you are to them while you're so close to me. It's like hitting two birds with one stone." Katie declared triumphantly.

"You're so vicious, Katie belle."

"Their murderous intent annoys me, it's only right that I annoy them back." Katie declared pettily.

"If I didnt know any better I'd think you two are dating each other." Natsumi mused.

Katie and Nate looked at each other, then they bursted out laughing.

"What? You looked so close, sweet and good together." Natsumi pointed out.

"We just see each other like siblings." Katie said. "Of course it'll be a great idea if we really attract each other that way since we've known each other since childhood and we have a bond of friendship already, so we already care about each othet as friends, but sadly we only love each other as friends and like siblings." She explained.

"Katie's right. Besides, she likes Luke." Nate suddenly declared.

Natsumi's eyes widened. "You already met Luke-niisan? He's handsome and cool right? So it's not a surprise that you'll like him.You'll look perfect for each other! You're beautiful, lively and funny and thoughtful, while Luke-niisan is serious, cool, silent, and looks strict but he's really nice, he's definitely a tsundere." She chattered excitedly.

"That's cool." Naoki commented before continuing to nibble on the cut vegetables.

"Luke will probably cancel your contract as an artists on his company once he learned that you're calling him a tsundere behind his back." Nate teased Natsumi.

"It's the truth, he acts so cold and arrogant but he's really sweet and caring." Natsumi declared.

"But Luke-niisan probably doesn't want that description for him. It'll ruin his cool reputation." Naoki said.

"I guess he likes to be known as cool as ice and unapprochable to deter the women who's after him for his status and money." Natsumi suddenly told them.

"Yeah, probably." Naoki agreed. "That's why I act unapprochable and a loner at the university, so that no one would dare to get close to me just because of my family background."

"Speaking of Luke, he went to Japan earlier to see Grandmother. And he told me that it'll probably a good idea if we also visit Grandmother later. I told him we will once I'm done with the preparation for Fashion week." Nate told his twin siblings.

"Yeah, I'd like to visit grandma, and mom and dad are also there, so we can visit everyone there." Natsumi agreed with a nod.

Naoki frowned as he touched his shoulder length bleached red colored hair. "She'll definitely demand for me to cut my hair and dyed it back to it's natural color."

"Maybe just dye it back to brunette and tied it properly if you don't want to cut it." Nate suggested. "You can say you need that for work as an ad model."

Naoki grinned. "Thanks for the suggestion, brother."

"Sooo, do we have a plan?" Natsumi suddenly asked.

Everyone looked at her questioningly.

"Plan?" Nate asked.

"Yeah. Like how do we make Katie-neesan and Luke-niisan get together? If Katie-neesan will be with someone, it'll be lovely if she ended up being married to either Luke-niisan or Nate-niisan. She'll really be a part of the family officially and we all can relax that one of my niisan will be together with a woman who won't hurt them or who have a selfish agenda why she'll want to be with them." Natsumi pointed out.

"Natsumi dear, I might find your cousin attractive and I'm curious about him, but we can't rush anything when it comes to mutual feelings, besides, he'll probably run the other way if he ever learned you're planning to be his matchmaker." Katie reminded her.

"Yeah, Luke-niisan is allergic with the word matchmaking." Naoki agreed.

"Then what do we do?" Natsumi asked with confusion, a bit deflated, since she liked the idea of being a matchmaker. No wonder grandmother enjoyed it so much.

"We'll just let them meet and get to know each other naturally. We might push it on a direction we think is best for them to meet but we'll be subtle, but we'll only guide Luke to that direction but it's still up to him whether he'll proceed or not with the direction we're guiding him at first, then he can take it from there, or Katie could." Nate told his sister.

"That means we need to make sure to have lots of gatherings and get togethers so Luke-niisan can go to them and he'll meet Katie-neesan there again." Natsumi said, already mentally taking notes of their possible future plans.

Katie just shook her head. Look at these siblings already planning her lovelife. Well, Katie will admit that she was attracted to Luke, he was handsome, aloof and a mystery to her, after all, it made her curious about him and she wanted to know more about him.

Well, based on how unlucky Katie was when it comes to choosing tha right guy she'll be with, she was really terrible at it. She even died because of her ex-fiance. Maybe letting someone else show her the way to find her special someone will really work and she'll be lucky with love this time around. Who knows, everything is possible. And nothing will happen if she won't try. No pain, no gain after all. So, why not?
