The gold moon pack: arrogant mate

Zoe POV

We follow Leigh to the dining room where she heads to the kitchen.

We open the door and... please moon goddess give me strength.

That piece of s**t has not got 1 but 2 sluts around him, what have a done to deserve a mate like him, I fix my mask, square my shoulders and head to get some food.

Meatballs and spaghetti with garlic bread and a bottle of water and it smells delicious.

I then notice Marie come through the door holding 2 plates, passing 1 to her brother and sitting on a different table.

We go sit with her and a few warriors sit with us, they all seem really nice and I'm enjoying their company laughing and talking.

I can feel the jerk faces eyes on me every now and then but there's no way I'm giving him the satisfaction of my attention he can f**k off.

"So what do you all do for fun here" I ask looking at our new friends "there's going to be a bonfire tonight if you all wanted to come just music, dancing and eye candy everywhere Derek said wiggling his eyebrows we all burst out laughing "sounds fun count us in yeah, Marie" I say as she is smiling but she looks nervous at my question, I can tell she doesn't really have any friends but we are going to change that tonight. I smile at her as well as everyone else around the table until she nods yes laughing and we all cheered.

Our new friends are Derek, Flynn and Will who are all 20 years old and Wills sister Daisy who is 16 years old she seems a little quiet like Marie hopefully they both hit it off it will be good for them both.

We make plans to meet at the front of the pack house at 7pm giving us an hour to get ready.

We are finally ready and heading downstairs laughing with each other.

I've french braided my hair over my left shoulder with light makeup, mascara and red lipstick, wearing a short white top that ends above my belly button with my fitted leather jacket and black skinny jeans paired with black boots. Grace has her curly hair down with light makeup, mascara and eye liner making her deep blue eyes pop and pink lipstick, she's wearing a blue tank top, blue skinny jeans and black boots and Claire is wearing her hair in a high ponytail, light makeup and maroon lipstick with a black of the shoulder top black skinny jeans and black boots, she loves and misses her mate so much and she is making it clear she is mated with her choice of top so everyone can see her mark. We meet Marie at the top of the stairs, she has her hair curled hanging down her back she has eye liner on making her beautiful green eyes stand out and a little bit of lip gloss on, she has a red top that ends above her belly button with a dark blue denim fitted jacket dark blue skinny jeans and red converse, she looks great, she has also got a little backpack with her.

We get to the bottom of the stairs and jerk face is there taking to Beta Mika when he catches us he stops and stares but I pay him no mind walking past him.

"Hey where are you all going" he asks everyone but keeps his eyes on me "we are going to the bonfire with friends" Marie says and we carry on walking out the door meeting up with everyone.

I'm glad I wore my boots as it's tucked away in the woods next to a lake and it's beautiful.

The bonfire is in full swing, masic playing and people even swimming in the lake. Everyone was having a blast.

We move over to a tree trunk that is laying down.

"I've brought some bottled water with me, do you 3 want 1 or do you you want a drink from the drinks table" Marie asks smiling and I'm impressed with how serious she has taken everything. "Thanks I'd love 1" I said as she got them out her bag "me too" both Claire and Grace said together then giggling.

We have been here for about an hour and we were having a great time, we were dancing as a group not far from the bonfire.

That's when I could smell jerk face, why does he have to come and ruin my mood, does he not realise how much he hurts me and Xena causing us to suffer because he's an inconsiderate selfish prick.

I glance over where he's stood and he full on kissing that b***h my anger spikes but I feel Grace hold my hand giving it a reassuring squeeze bringing me back to them with tears in my eyes. I look back and realise Marie isn't here and start to panic but as I was looking for her she walks upto her brother and slaps that b***h round the face then while they are still in shock she slaps her brother and screams how their dad would be ashamed of his behaviour and stormed away back to us.

"Come on I think it's time to go" I say as we agree, Derek, Flynn and Will are staying behind and Daisy is coming with us. Daisie and Marie were becoming fast friends.

We were walking back and as we walked past jerk face and his b***h she grabbed my arm trying to intimidate me and that certainly doesn't happen "remove your filthy hand before I detach it permanently" I growl and I see her flinch and let go "just remember he is mine" she said trying to sound threatening but makes me laugh "come back and threaten me when you don't sound like a putty cat" I say in a baby voice pissing her off turning around and walking off with my girls.

We all start laughing as b***h starts having a screaming tantrum.

"WAIT" jerk face said grabbing my arm but I'm not impressed "same goes for you remove your hand now" I say as calm as I can and he lets go "how about.. if your going now you can join me for the night" he says winking at me thinking that will work and I can say he wasn't expecting a slap, which he got. "You inconsiderate selfish prick, who do you think you are, I would never ever touch you EVER and the first thing I'm doing when we are done here is reject you and beg the moon goddess for a second chance mate who is worthy of ME because you will never be" I say full of anger and Xena is still tucked away in my mind after witnessing him with that b***h. With that I carry on walking leaving him stood in shock. f**k that prick.
