Eric Parker :
"Ok! I'll try to get closer to her then." Chris said.
"By the way, these two are too useless. Don't mind them. Just ignore it." I said and never forgot to tease the two who have been attacking me with their words for a while.
"Eric Parker, how dare you?" Miles said.
"You two think that I forgive you? You've been trying to tease me and use me as a joke for god knows how many times it is now?" I acted angry.
"Fine. I give myself a punishment." Miles said and he took a shot of whiskey to punish himself.
"You think a shot is enough for me to forgive you?" I smirked.
"Tell me how many do you want me to drink." Miles didn't give up and still asked me to continue the game.
"Do you think drinking alone is fine?"
"Then, do you wanna join?" he asked.
"Cheers!" I raised my wine glass up and signaled Miles that I'm in.
"You drink red wine and I'm here having whiskey. That's not fair." Miles pointed me.
"That's your punishment." I smirked.
"I can't have too much of this. I have works to do." Miles said.
"Tomorrow is Saturday, Miles." Kevin reminded Miles.
"I have a project to finish so I need to spend my weekend working on it."
"Wuhh, you know how to work hard too? " I teasingly asked Miles.
"You're not the only one who work hard, Mr. CEO." Miles glanced at me.
"I need to get an amusement deal signed." Miles said which surprised everyone.
"You're investing in theme park?" The silent Chris finally talked.
Miles nodded.
"You said that me and Chris are weird today. Do you know that you're with us too?" I asked Miles.
"Shut up, Eric. I'm so stressed with that project. My dad doesn't like it when I said that I'm going to invest in theme park. That's why I need to work hard with the plans." Miles said.
"You finally do something useful. I'm proud of you kid." I told him.
"Ewww! So cringe. I can't with you." Miles laughed.
I raised my glass up and said "Cheers to Miles who finally do something USEFUL." I chuckled. Chris and Kevin also raised his glass and joined me.
"Eric, let's talk about your heart." Kevin suggested.
"There's nothing work with my heart."
"Eric, I only considered that your heart is fine when you find your woman." Miles said.
"Shut up, I no longer have any feeling for women." I said sadly.
"So you're looking for a man now?" Miles joked around again and I rolled my eyes.
"I met Courtney when I went to Switzerland last time." Kevin said.
"Why are you telling me this?" I asked him.
"Just informing you. What? Is there anything wrong?" Kevin asked back.
"Courtney and I, we're nothing now so it's better not to talk about it." I demanded.
"Well, I don't get to tell you what I saw when I met her back then." Kevin shrugged.
"What did you see?" Chris asked curiously.
"Courtney and a handsome guy, he looks rich."
"How do you know that he's rich?" Chris asked.
"I didn't say that he's rich. I said he LOOKS rich." Kevin said.
I ignored the three of them talking about Courtney and sipped my red wine slowly. They talked about her for a while, but it seemed like I didn't here anything about that. I closed my ears and my eyes when it comes to that woman, the woman who broke my heart for other guy. I felt so mad when I thought about it, but I don't know what to do beside calm myself down and enjoy my time with my wine.
"Eric! Eric!" Miles called out my name.
"What?"
"Didn't you listen to us?" he asked and I shook my head.
"Well, that's it then. He doesn't want to talk about it." Chris suggested.
"How about the question that I asked him?" Kevin said.
Miles hit Kevin and told him to shut up.
"Are you guys drunk?" I asked them.
"No!" they answered simultaneously.
"Can you drive home?" I asked the guys.
"I'm sure I can, but I don't risk my life to drive home like this." Chris said.
"Then, let's take taxi to my apartment. You guys don't have to go home. Sleep in my place." I ordered them.
"But I have to work tomorrow." Miles tried to avoid my order.
"I don't care." I said coldly.
"Your apartment only has one bedroom, right?" Chris asked.
"Yes. Can't we all sleep in the same room?" I asked.
"What? Eric, you want us, big adults and all grown up to sleep together in one room." Kevin said.
"I don't think we're going to sleep tonight."
"What are you planning, Eric?" Miles asked.
"Another round in my apartment. Y'all are invited." I winked at them.
Everyone was shocked when they heard this.
"What is wrong with our Eric today?" Kevin asked.
"Kevin, don't talk so much. Call the waiter here to pay." I ordered Kevin.
Kevin pressed the button to call someone to pay the bill.
"Are we really going to take a taxi?" Chris asked.
"What's wrong with taxi?" Miles asked Chris.
"You want me to take a taxi? I don't like it." Chris said.
"He doesn't want to see news the next morning that will say 'Chris Brewster, the heir of BS Technology was drunk and took a taxi back home'." I said and laughed.
Kevin paid the bill. He turned to us and said "I'm fine enough to drive. I didn't drink that much."
"That's right. You drive then. Drive my car and leave your car here. For Miles' and Chris' cars, leave them here too. I'll car someone to drive those cars to you guys tomorrow." I demanded.
"Ok! Let's go then." Kevin said and we all walked to the parking lot and got into the car.
We arrived at the apartment safe and sound at 1 am.
"Go and sit in the living room, I'll bring something for you guys." I walked to the fridge and took a bottle of red wine out.
I put the bottle on the table in the living where the guys surrounded the table. I looked at them sitting on the floor and not the sofa. "Instead of sitting on the sofa, you guys choose to sit on the floor." I shook my head.
"It's more comfortable down here so shut up." Miles said.
"Are you saying that my sofa is uncomfortable?"
"......" no replied. These people looked so drunk.
"Kevin, go and bring 4 glasses from the cabinet." I showed him the direction and he went and get it.
"You guys are too drunk to talk." I said.
Miles slowly looked at my face and about to say something.
