Ammaline Pearson :
"Mrs. Yang, please continue to take care of your health. I don't want to see you here again." I jokingly talked to Mrs. Yang.
"Miss Pearson, don't worry I'll take a good care of myself from now on." she said obediently.
"It's time to go, mom." Mr. Yang who is Mrs. Yang's son said.
Mrs. Yang nodded to her son and said "Goodbye, Miss Pearson!". She came and hugged me.
"Miss Pearson, thank you so much for taking care of my mother." Mr. Yang said.
"It's my pleasant, Mr. Yang."
The son and the mother turned around and left the hospital.
Eric Parker :
"Boss" Nathan knocked on my office's door and called for me.
"Come in!" I shouted. "Is it an emergency?"
"Not really, but......"
"What? Tell me!" Nathan made me feel irritated.
"The group that you asked me to check, I found out that they're going to do something big." he informed me.
I nodded and stayed silent.
"Are you going to do something?" Nathan asked seeing my silence.
"No. They won't do anything to us so don't bother with them." I told him and he nodded.
"Boss, are you really not going to do something?" Nathan asked once again.
"No. It's not our business so don't bother." I coldly looked at him.
"Ok, I got it." he said and left.
"Knock knock" someone knocked the door once again.
I frowned hearing that knock.
"Come in! Why are you here again?" I shouted to the door, thinking that it was Nathan again.
"Why the heck do you have to shout?" my friend, Miles Smail walked in and said at the same time.
"I thought it was Nathan again." I said.
"Tonight, let's go out." Miles suggested.
"Just the two of us?" I questioned him.
"Of course.... NOT" he smirked.
"Not sure if I'm going or not." I told him.
"You must go!" he demanded.
"Alright! You're here just to tell me that?"
He nodded.
I frowned and said "Are you serious?"
"Why can't I just come and tell you in person?" he asked.
"Why don't you just text?" I questioned him again.
"You dare to talk about me texting you?" I raised his voice.
I looked at him with my questioned face.
"You always ignore my texts and now dare to ask me to text you instead of coming here?" he said angrily.
"I'm so busy lately."
He rolled his eyes and proudly said "Whatever you're busy with, I forgive you."
"Don't act like an understanding person to me." I demanded.
"Ok! I'm going back. Don't forget to go." he reminded me and I nodded.
Miles turned around and left. I also got back to my work.
After a few hour of working, it was time to leave work so I put everything down and walked to the parking lot. I got in my car and about to start the car, but I realized that I don't know where to go.
"Stupid, Miles! How can you not tell me where is that place?" I talked to myself.
Then, I picked my phone and dialed Miles' number.
Once he answered, I said "You forgot something."
"Ahhhhh! Come to our old place." he said without me asking.
"Smart!"
"Yes, I know that I'm smart so you don't have to tell me that." said Miles.
I immediately ended the phone call once he finished saying that.
'That jerk probably is going to get mad.' I thought to myself and laughed.
I started the car and quickly drove to the place that we usually go to. I parked the car in the parking lot and walked into a private room in a very fancy bar.
"Mr. Parker" a waitress greeted me before I entered the room.
Since I'm a familiar guest, the waitress know me. "Where are the others?" I asked the waitress when I saw that no one was in the room.
"Mr. Parker, you're the first one who came in here today." she said.
"I see." I said and walked into the room.
I sat on a big sofa and the same waitress came in and asked me "Mr. Parker, you're here early. Do you need anything?"
I shook my head and said "When do they usual come here?".
"Normally, your friends always come early like this, but I don't know what happened today. Maybe it's because you're the first one to arrive." she teased me and laughed.
I faked a laugh and said "I see."
"If you don't need anything, then I'm going to leave now. Please call me if you need anything." the waitress said and left.
I took out my phone to go on social media while waiting. 10 minutes later, Miles showed up.
"Wuhhh! Man, you're the first one to arrive?" Miles said shockingly.
I sighed and didn't say anything. He came and sat on the sofa opposite to me.
"You didn't order anything?" he asked.
I shook my head. "Now, get me some water." I ordered him.
"I'm not a waiter.... Fine!" he clicked on a button and a waitress showed up.
"Sir, do you need anything?" the girl said.
"Get me some water and give it to him." Miles pointed at me while he was talking to the waitress.
"When will the others arrive?" I asked him coldly.
"They'll be here soon." he answered calmly.
"You guys wasted my time." I said.
"Hey man, you always come late and sometimes don't come at all. We always wait for you and now, you only come early for once and start to complain already?" he said coldly.
"Ok. My bad." I admitted my fault which is kind of rare.
"It's rush hour, you can't blame them." said Miles.
I nodded and drank the water that the waitress put in front of me.
"Let's order drinks first." I suggested.
"What do you want to drink? Wine or whisky?" Miles asked me.
"Anything is fine. But I haven't drunk red wine for a while. Let's get some red wine." I told Miles.
Miles pressed the button calling the waitress to come back again.
"Get me some red wine. The good one." Miles ordered and the waitress nodded.
"Wait!" I said when that waitress was about to leave.
"Do you need something else?" she asked.
"Get me something to eat."
"What do you want to eat, sir?" she asked politely.
"Hmmm fried rice, chicken wings and Pepperoni pizza." I said and Miles looked at my face.
"Ok, sir!" the waitress left.
"Anything happened to you today?" Miles asked curiously.
"Nothing. Why would you ask me that? " I frowned.
"You want chicken wings?" Miles raised his eyebrows.
"Yes. I'm hungry. I directly come here after work." I told him.
"Ok! But I barely see you order chicken wings." said Miles.
"There's nothing wrong with chicken wings so shut up." I said coldly.
Miles nodded and shut up. Then, a guy walked into our room.
