Chapter 3

Ammaline Pearson:  Dad suddenly put his fork and spoon down after hearing what mom said. He sipped water from his glass, put it down and said "Ok! Tell me now, I'm kind of curious." he chuckled. "So, there's this pretty woman who loves this Eric, it's like she has a crush on him and I don't really know what she did to him, but I saw Eric did something really awful to that woman." she shook her head a little and continued "He could just tell that woman that he has no feeling for him, instead he did something very embarrassing to that woman in public." mom stopped talking and my dad asked her to continue. "He found out that the woman followed her or whatever she did, he told her not to come around him and he even said that was not her first time or something. I couldn't really hear what they were talking about, but I saw it clearly that he took a bottle of water or soda, I don't know, splashed it to her, pointed her face and said something. Then, he walked away from her coldly.  That was very fascinating to see especially, it was in public place. Every single person stopped there and looked at her and some people even took pictures or videos of her. If I were that young lady, I wish that the ground swallow me up." mom looked at my dad. "Actually, it wasn't that bad." dad said. "To a woman, yes it's something that is very embarrassing. He shouldn't have done that." mom argued with dad, trying to protect that woman. While hearing my parents started talking about this, I finally said something. "Mom, don't come to your conclusion way too soon. You don't know what are the bad things that the woman did to the guy. I feel like she did something that is terrible to him and that's why he did that." I said this without even thinking. I don't stand by anyone's side, but that woman might have done something real bad. You know once you love someone, you can do everything to get the guy's heart. "Am, are you siding Eric's side?" my mom asked me. "NO. I'm just telling you not to come to your conclusion way too soon. Never judge a book by its cover, mom." I said. "This is obvious that you're siding Eric's side. So, you literally on this guy's side by just hearing about him? You're in love with him already???" mom kind of teased me. I rolled my eyes and said "Mom, once a woman has a crush on someone, she can do every single thing just to get the guy's attention. Most women forgot to think that what they do are bad  or even don't care what other people think about them. Trust me, I spectated every girl in my high school and even in college. Those people are too stupid to spend their time and even energy on useless thing." I rolled my eyes once again. The dining room went back to silent mode again. "I'm done. Heading up." I told my parents. "By the way, dad, I wanna work in your hospital since I used to be an intern there so there won't be any problem if I put my CV there right?" "We welcome you with our two hands, Am." my dad said with a grin. "You don't need a CV. I will hire you a 100%." dad shouted to me while I was walking upstairs. He laughed happily after hearing that. To be honest, I don't really like it when I work with the people I know around, but I have no choice. My parents want me to work there and they need me to help manage the hospital. Although, there's hospital manager and other people, my parents just don't really trust them that much. My dad doesn't have enough time to check the hospital. He's been traveling with my mom a lot lately. I am their only solution and they want to have fun without worrying about the hospital. I actually have a plan to help them out about this too so me working there is a win-win strategy. I turned my laptop on and prepared my CV and stuff for my upcoming job interview.
