"I'm serious, Jess. You can go sightseeing in our hospital and if you need help just ask for me. They all know me here." I told her.
"But I don't know where to go. I'm scared that I get lost." she pointed out the reason that she didn't want to go.
"You really want to stay here? If so, I can't force you."
"Yes I want to stay here." she said confidently.
"What a waste then! The rooftop has the best view." I shrugged and turned around which was like a challenge to her.
"Wait. There's a rooftop here? " she asked me excitedly.
I knew that my trick worked so I raised my lips a little bit and turned around to talk to her.
"Yes, a rooftop on the 15th floor. I can show you the way there. Do you still want to stay here?" I raised my eyebrows and looked her.
"Ok! Bring me there."
I smiled at her and told her to followed me. We walked to the elevator and I pressed on the '15' button.
"Miss Pearson." a nurse greeted me when she got in the same elevator with me. I smiled and her.
"Where are you going?" I asked her.
"The VIP ward." she replied. I clicked on the '8' button which was the VIP ward.
When we arrived at the 8th floor the elevator door opened and the nurse thanked me for stopping at the 8th floor.
"Thanks, Miss Pearson." she smiled at me.
"No problem. Work hard!" I smiled at her back. The elevator door closed and it brought has to the 15th floor.
"We're here." I informed Jess.
"Wuhhh! This is so beautiful and so refreshing." she happily walked around.
"I'm going to leave work at 6 or 7 pm. Do you want me to bring you home or you want someone to pick you up?" I asked her.
"Let's see. Can we watch the sunset from here?" she looked curious.
"Yes! Why? Do you want to wait for sunset?"
"Yes."
"It might take a while for the sun to set. You can go down and see the garden there first if you're bored of this." I pointed to the garden at the ground floor which we can see from the rooftop.
"This is obviously a hidden gem. Don't worry. I'll take my time to walk around your hospital." she laughed.
"Good!" I smiled seeing Jess was so happy. I realized that she had a beautiful soul and a beautiful appearance. Though, she's a bit nasty and so straightforward.
"Sis, can you take a picture of me with this view?" she asked and I nodded.
She handed me her phone and I took her photos with her phone.
"You have such a good photography skill." she commented on my skill when she saw the photos that I took for her.
"Just wait for the golden hour. You can take better pictures with it."
Jessica got what I meant and she nodded.
"Sis, you can go to work now. I can stay here alone. Though, I might get down there later." she pointed to the garden and told me to go back to work.
"Ok. You can call me or ask for me if you need any help." I was about to leave and she stopped me.
"Wait, gimme your phone number." she handed me her phone and I dialed my number.
"Here!" she got her phone and saved my number.
"You can go now." she waved her hand at me.
"Ok! I'm going now. I'll find you after work." I also waved 'bye' at her. I got back to my work and left Jessica alone.
After I'm done working, I finally got time to go out and looked for Jessica. At first, I went to the rooftop, but she wasn't there so I looked down from the rooftop to the little park and saw a familiar figure which I assumed to be her. I walked to the park directly to find her without waiting. Once, I finally came close to her I called her name.
"Jess!" she turned to me as she heard my voice.
"Sis, you're done working?" she ran to me and asked me immediately.
I nodded and asked "Are you having fun here?" I looked around to see if there was something to play there.
"Yes. The view and the atmosphere here don't make me feel like I'm in a hospital at all." she said happily.
"I'm glad to hear that. I was so scared that you would get bored and fell asleep somewhere." I laughed.
"Ehh, I've been wandering around the hospital. Now, I know every single entrance and exit." she chuckled.
"Do you still want to watch the sunset?" I asked her.
"Yes, but I'm kind of hungry." she put her hand on her stomach.
"Do you want to go eat something?"
"Yes, but how about sunset?" she looked at the sky to see the sun.
"Hmm. Can you wait a little longer? If we go and eat now, I'm afraid that we can't watch the sunset."
"Let's see the sunset first. It'll be gone soon so it won't be long." Jessica said.
"Alright! I can bring you some snacks. I might have some snacks in my office." I told her.
"Ok, let's go then." Jessica followed me to my office. I got her something to eat and we went to the rooftop.
I took about 30 minutes for the sun to set and the sky slowly lost its color.
"Let's go eat. It's getting dark now." I told her. "What do you want to eat?" I continued.
"Hmmm can you take me to burger place? I also want to eat ice cream." she said.
"No problem."
We got into the car and I drove to one of the burger places. We ordered our food and waited for the food at a table.
"Jess, it's dark now. Your parents might wonder where you are." I looked at her.
"Don't worry about that." she said confidently.
"Why? They probably have called you, right?" I asked with concerned.
"Yes. Mother called me since 4 pm and I told her not to worry about me." she smiled at me.
"Does she know where you are?" I asked.
"Hmm I'm not sure too." she looked guilty.
"What? What did you tell her?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Sister, don't worry about this. I told my mother that I'm with you."
"Ok, I see. I'll take you back after you're done eating."
"It's okay. You don't have to do that. I can call someone to pick me up." she smiled.
"No no! It's better for me to bring you back home by myself." I told her.
"No need!"
"What if someone took you somewhere or kidnap? Your parents will blame me if something happen to you."
"Sister, don't worry. What if I call my brother to pick me up? Will that make you feel better?" Jessica asked.
I thought for a moment and said "You can go with your brother."
We agreed and ate our food when the food was served. When we've done eating, Jessica called her brother to pick her up.
