Return of the Alpha's Daughter

Chapter 5.

After telling everyone goodbye, Zade, Brian, Gus and I loaded into the vehicles to leave with Nathan and Beta Cameron. We had to go to the air strip near our pack territory where a private jet was waiting to fly us to our new home. I hesitated as we went to get on the jet. "Have you ever flown before, Jenna", Nathan asked me. I shook my head no. ", the truth is I really haven't been out of the pack territory but a few times, to go to the mall with Zade" I answered. I had never even seen a jet before besides in the sky. I never knew just how big they actually were. "Come on Jenna", Gus and Brian called. They were already inside with Zade. "ok ok I'm coming guys", I yelled back to them, laughing. Nathan held my hand as we walked up the steps to board the plane. We were greeted as we entered by this beautiful blonde. "My name is Carrie and I will be your server for the flight home tonight." She said cheerfully. "Thank you, Carrie. Can you let the pilot know that we are all here and ready to take off as soon as possible", Beta Cameron told her. She excused herself immediately to let the pilot know. We sat in our seats and Nathan helped me buckle up. ZADE, Gus and Brian were in the seats in front of us, but they were turned to where they were facing us. It didn't take long before the engine roared to life. I gripped my arm rest as I tried not to panic. Nathan began to rub circles on my back and the next thing I knew we were in the air and our seatbelts could be unbuckled. As I unbuckled my seatbelt, I looked up and saw Beta Cameron staring at me like he was confused or something. I pretended not to notice. My birthmark was still burning, and instinctively I reached up to rub the spot. It was as if Beta Cameron was waiting for that to happen. "Is there something wrong with your neck Jenna," He asked. I realized immediately what I had done and had to think of something quick. " She just has a nervous tick. When she messes with the back of her ear when she is nervous. She does it all of the time" Zade said, answering for me. I breathed out with relief.

"So where are your Alpha and Luna at" I asked Nathan, changing the subject. "They are at a conference that they host every year to help find missing supernaturals. Their daughter was kidnapped at birth and they have never found her. So they basically devoted their lives to helping others find their missing children. We have the world's largest pack and the largest and strongest army. Our army is even bigger than the royal army" Nathan answered.

"Something is going to happen, Jenna. Something big" Star said again in the back of my mind. "We have been through this Star. We are moving to a new pack. That is a big change." I told her once again. "I don't think that is it. It seems even bigger than that" She tried to explain. "It's just our nerves. Calm down and rest. Maybe you will feel better when we land." I told her. "Is your wolf ok Jenna", Beta Cameron asked interrupting my conversation with Star. "Yes sir. She is just anxious", I told him while begging Star to calm down.

When we landed, I felt so much better when I stepped off of the jet. Cars were there to meet us. This tall beautiful brunette got out of one of the black SUVS and was running towards us. I froze where I stood, not knowing whether to shift and attack or what. Nathan started laughing. "That is my mother", he whispered to me. Before I could look back at her, the woman had me engulfed in a great big bear hug. "FINALLY! NATHAN HAS FOUND HIS MATE!' she yelled with excitement while she kept hugging me. "Mom, easy with her please" Nathan told her, then he looked at his father. "Dad can you please, keep your mate from killing mine please "I couldn't help but giggle as Beta Cameron came over and wrapped his arms around the woman holding her still while he whispered something to her. I watched as the woman went from happy and smiling to freezing in her place and her expression drained from her face as she looked back at me. I knew then that the Beta had just told her about my injuries.

"I'm so sorry for my excitement dear. My name is Chrissy. I am Nathan's mother and this one here is my mate" She said, introducing herself and offering her hand to shake. "My name is Jenna. It's nice to meet you" I answered as Zade, Gus and Brian walked over holding out bags. "Jenna, are you OK" Zade asked, as he looked at the woman in front of me. Chrissy was now staring at the three of them confused as she looked back at me and then to Nathan and last to Beta Cameron for an explanation, why I had three other guys with me. "Dear, this is Zade, Gus and Brian. They have been Jenna's best friends since they were little. She would not agree to come without bringing them. They are a package deal", Cameron explained. This looked like it confused her even more. So now it was my turn to explain it simply. "If they are not welcome to stay here with me, then I am not welcome to be here. We have never been separated and never will be. If Nathan still wants me as a mate then he can come live in my pack". Chrissy's jaw dropped almost to the ground. Beta Cameron almost snickered while Nathan died laughing at his mother's expression. No one had ever stood up to his mother, evidently. However, I was not about to let her or anyone else criticize me or the guys about what we chose to do. They knew the deal before we ever left Revenge Falls.

"I'm sorry once again for my rudeness. I just wasn't expecting three men to be coming with my son's mate. It just seems a little odd to me" Chrissy said. Everyone went silent. I looked at her, then to Beta Cameron and lastly to my mate before I looked back at her "I do not care how odd it may look to you. You have no clue of the life I have lived and what these three have saved me from, nor how many times they have saved my life. They have always protected me and will continue to protect me as long as they wish. Now you and everyone else can either accept it or we will turn right around and get back on that plane and go home. Case closed. So what is it going to be?" I asked, staring at the woman. Nathan started to get a bit nervous as he spoke up "Jenna, it's OK. She will not say another word, and she will accept the entire package, or I will leave with you, Brian, Zade and Gus. Because as long as they are protecting you and have your best interest at heart, then I will consider them as my family as well", Nathan said, looking to his parents this time for the final answer.
