Return of the Alpha's Daughter

It had been a very long day, and the only thing I wanted right at that moment was a hot relaxing bath. I turned the water on to the hot tub and grabbed a couple of the bath bombs and threw them in the running water. I went back to my closet to grab some pj's. When I walked back in the bathroom, I made sure to grab some soap, shampoo, and all the bath essentials. I slowly began to undress as the tub was nearly full. As my clothes dropped to the floor, the surrounding mirrors reminded me of my previous life up until today as I looked at the scars all over my body. The latest lashes were still healing and were bright red. I traced them with my fingertips as I thought about what had happened and how I had gotten them. I got into the tub and turned on the jets. Thankfully, each button said what it did. I had never been in one until now. The Luna from my old pack had one, but I was not even allowed in her bathroom, let alone to touch her tub. I sank into the hot bubbling water. It felt so good to my entire body. I closed my eyes as I thought about everything that had taken place in the past twenty-four hours or so. I knew that I was in trouble when Zade and I pulled up to the pack house and saw Luna standing on the stairs waiting for us. Even though we had been ordered to go shopping for my birthday by the Alpha it would not matter. The Luna hated me. She hated my existence even though she was the one to rescue me from rogues who were trying to kill me when I was only a few minutes old. I honestly never understood why she bothered to save me. I wish she had just let them kill me. It sure beat being tormented every day by her. She was an evil, hateful Luna. The pack hated her and so did her own son, Zade. The only one who loved her was the one that mattered the most, Alpha Jack. But now even he was finally beginning to see just how hateful she really was. The worse part was that I was the only one she hated. The one she loathed. She was somewhat nice to everyone else. But the pack hated her for how she treated me. The Luna stared daggers at me when Zade and I got out of the car. "What is the meaning of this you two? It is almost midnight, and you have work that needs to be completed now!" Luna yelled, still staring at me. . "Mom, dad ordered us to go. We had no choice. You cannot blame her. And he also said that our friends could come stay the night tonight", Zade tried to explain. The Luna stared at her son. She couldn't be mad at him, but I knew i would feel her wrath soon. "Your father had to run out, so his orders are not standing. You get into that kitchen now!" the Luna yelled, pointing at me. "You and your friends can stay in the condos. Candy is out there with her friends as well." The Luna said, smiling at them. ZADE tried to object but it wasn't working. He stared at his mother. "Mom, I'm telling you now that if you lay one hand on Jenna tonight or anymore, for that matter, I will no longer consider you my mother and I mean it" Zade announced, In front of his friends and a few pack members who were watching what was happening. "I will do as I please son, and you have no choice in who your mother is" She spat at him. "I can reject you as a parent and give up my title as future Alpha. If you don't think I will, then try me" Zade told her. I linked Zade and asked him to stop fighting with his mother. I knew it would only make matters worse for me. As Zade turned around to go to the condo, the Alpha came pulling into the driveway. "Guys, you all go on to the condos. The Beta will be over to clear Candy and all the alcohol out of there. It won't work Lacy. The game is over. Jenna, will you please go get started on the list that you have? Get what you can get done, then get some sleep. You will be attending the meetings with me and Zade tomorrow." Alpha Jack informed me as he stared at his wife, daring her to object. "Furthermore, for all out here, my orders stand whether I am physically here or not. I am the Alpha of this pack, not the Luna" He seethed, staring at his mate. ZADE and his friends quickly went to the condo as I made my way to the kitchen. I saw Carrie as I walked into the kitchen. She was the head of the kitchen staff. She quickly handed me the list. "We all got done as much as we could without Luna noticing. We marked it off as we finished", Carrie said, before kissing my cheek and disappearing before the Luna came to make sure that I was in there cleaning. I quickly got to work on the list. The only thing left for me to do was the bathroom and the floors in the kitchen. I sprayed the counters with bleach and was wiping them off when Luna walked in. She was seething mad. "Don't forget to scrub that nasty floor too " she reminded me as she smiled. "I won't", I answered as I continued to clean, trying to ignore her. "You do realize Candy is Zade's mate right?' the Luna said just to try to get under my skin. She hated the fact that her son and I were best friends and nothing she had ever done had stopped that. it only made our friendship that much stronger. "I seriously doubt that, but that is between those two", I answered. "It would be wise to just keep your doubts to yourself" She warned me as she reached for the whip and picked it up. I just stared at her. I knew that what Zade had said to her was haunting her as she set it back down. The Luna yawned and grabbed her cup as she walked out of the kitchen to go to bed. I made quick work of what was left on the list that Luna had ordered me to complete. Last, I scrubbed the floors, making sure there was not even a speck of dirt on it before turning the lights off and going to bed myself. I could get about two hours of sleep before I needed to get up to get breakfast cooked for the pack. When I woke up, my alarm clock was going off. I shut it off, so it wouldn't wake the others. I got dressed and went to the pack house to start breakfast. I pulled out everything I needed to get started. I made sure to clean as I went along so everything would be clean whenever Luna decided to make her entry. I already knew that she would be looking for anything she could to find a reason to order me to be whipped.
