WILLIAM
Before I spoke, I took one last swig of my chardonnay.
I wanted to go home because I couldn't stop thinking about her, and why should I?Bakit ba ako nag-aalala sa kan'ya ng ganito? It's furstrating. I can't even focus on what I'm doing here. I'll f*****g go home as soon as this thing is finished.
"Do you happen to have it?"
"They stole it, Sir, and they're now heading to the woods where they can hide," he replied, making my blood heat.
Mariin akong napapikit. "Bastards," I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth.
"But we have discovered, Sir, that Mr. Hervano's partner is still here. He just put his people first. We also heard that he is the one who will ride the helicopter and maybe we can pretend to be one of the tourists there. That place they will be hiding at is a tourist spot, they are there for the benefit of no one. He still doesn't know you, Sir," he said, making eye contact.
"He will soon," I said as I smoked my last cigarette.
Ace's Bonker
"That's him, Sir," one of my men said as I quickly followed to see where he was pointing.
"Move," I said, and everyone nodded.
You could see the shock on his face as my men approached him.
"What can I do for you?" he asked, and I immediately responded as I approached him.
I nod and smile wryly at him. "We heard you were going to a beautiful place that all of the tourists wanted to go to; would you mind giving us a lift?" I inquired as his eyes shifted from me to my men.
"O-okay. Hop on gentlemen," tila nagkandautal-utal pa niyang sagot at halos 'di pa makaakyat sa kan'yang eroplano.
We were in the air in a matter of minutes. When he spoke abruptly, I was looking at the location of Hervano's hostel.
"I'm Miguel, and it was a pleasure to serve you all," he said, looking at us in the mirror and tracing the tone of his Russian accent speech.
"My name is William, and it was nice meeting you," I said, and he just smiled na para bang nawala agad ang kaba sa kan'yang dibdib.
"As I can see, you have a lot of men, so I think you're a known man," he says, looking at himself in the mirror again.
"Well, maybe," I replied quickly, bringing our conversation to a close.
"Well, I hope you enjoy it here; there are many lovely places that people have always wanted to visit," wika niya at tama namna siya dahil ang lugar na kung nasaan kami ngayon ay napakaganda at kung dadalhin ko dito si Victoria ay tiyak akong magagandahan din siya.
"I heard some people like it here because it's a good place to hide, is that true Miguel?" I asked sternly, watching him took deep breath an swallowed the lump that was forming into his throat.
"Did you hear it somewhere?"
"I'm not sure, maybe I just missed hearing it," I said, nodding at him.
"Why are you running? Are you chasing something?"
"If I say yes, will you assist me in searching for it?" I called into question.
He didn't respond because he wasn't sure whether he should.
"I'm just teasing Miguel, we're here for a vacation," I said, and I heard him take a deep breath and nervously laugh.
"We're already close, Mr. William; get ready because we're landing," he said, and I looked into my men, who all nodded, knowing exactly what I meant.
We took off as soon as our vehicle touched down. I walk around the entire area and see no one walking. It is probably far from the tourist attractions.
"This is the place, Mr. William," he said as he looked around.
One of my men approached and handed me an RPG-29 or a rocket launcher that Hervano had given me as a remembrance. Miguel's body trembled, and I smelled fear.
"Are you a terrorist?" he asked, his eyes wide open as he looked at me and my men.
"What you should think about now is how you should save your life here; I don't have a gun, but my men do, so I think you should run right now," I said, narrowing my eyes into the woods.
"You're kidding," he said, shaking his head and looking the same way I do.
"Run like this," I said, motioning with my two fingers in a running gesture.
"f**k!" he hissed, stumbling as he began to run.
I let him run for a while and got away until he was near the trees. I took the rocket launcher in my men's hands.
I quickly estimated his location and pulled the trigger. There was no way out, and a massive explosion erupted all over the place. I began to look at the remote and pressed the OK button, indicating that the next strike would be a few minutes away.
"Let's go, before it explodes again, and this time it'll be a colossal," I said, and they all concurred.
They promptly turned on the helicopter, and a loud noise drew my attention. A swarm of men rushes towards us.
"Let's go!" I yelled, and the helicopter took off.
They started shooting at us right away, and I was about to throw a bomb when they shot at me. I reached into the bag beneath my seat and pulled out a red bomb that would explode and turn into a missile bomb.
I threw it at them, and a loud noise echoed all over the place, and you could see them running like pismires into the trees where the missile bomb was, and it didn't take long for it to explode.
"Sir, it's poison; hurry! we should take him to the nearest hospital!" one of my men exclaimed, and I grabbed his hand, forcing him to look at me.
"No, head to our place and call my doctor," I couldn't hear myself anymore and swallowed in the dim light.
