Hybrid Zeus and His Mate

Chapter 6

ZEUS POV

‘Mate…’ my wolf grunted wagging his tail furiously. his growls were so loud that I had to wake up, despite fatigue that caused through my body. Technically, I wasn't sleeping, I was just laying on my bed to let my body have a little bit of a much needed rest.

“Zeus shut up. I need this nap more than anything!” I mind-linked it while turning on to my stomach. It grunted and forced itself to the surface.

“Whoa whoa, hold it right there buddy. What happened to our mate?” i asked, suddenly fresh and sleep void from my eyes.

‘She’s hurt. I can feel it. She’s crying. Go and see mate.'

Zeus was never this impatient with Gaia before. But this was different. I braced my back to the mattress and relaxed my mind. Then my thoughts drifted into my mind slowly. I mind travelled to Jukon castle. I walked around the giant castle towards the glasshouse where her scent came from. Upon closer distance, I found her huddled on the floor. Crying! I have never seen her so defeated! So hurt! And I knew it deep down that it had something to do with me taking her from her pack. She still didn’t know that she’s met me, and that we’ve had a steamy session in the very same glass house. She knew Dyaus, but not Zeus. But she would soon find out that Zeus is the wolf part of me and Dyaus is the vampire part of me. Zeus is Dyaus, and Dyaus is Zeus.

I let my vampire travel through air before taking my next scheme; impersonation! I appeared next to the glasshouse in the body of Hermes, the castle butler and advisor to the Alpha Dante. I walked into the glasshouse and stood beside her body.

“Princess Gaia?” her sobs halted. Her body rustled while she tried to wipe her tears.

“Please leave Hermes I would like to be alone for a moment!” she said with a shaky voice. Her body was still shaking from her concealed sobs. I took a step towards her and held her on her shoulders before slowly turning her to me. According to Melina, Hermes was close to Gaia, very close that they were more of friends. Although Hermes kept a safer distance. So I took that to my advantage. I pulled her to me and she sobbed into my chest.

“Why Hermes? Why did my father just hand me over to him like I don’t matter at all?” her wails tugged painfully at my heart. My arms squeezed her tighter and I began rocking her side to side. I let her cry her heart out. What made me want to laugh is that through her crying episode, her wolf kept on scowling at her. It didn’t seem saddened by the news. It seemed rather, expecting! Like its waiting for me to come and take her with me. I recalled their conversation when I visited her room last night before she caught sleep. Her wolf was brilliant. It caught my scent even before I can land in her room. And when it told her that there’s more to the aura? I was impressed. Utterly impressed.

After a good minute of listening to her, her sobs and wails faded to nothing. She untangled her body from my grip, but I had other thoughts. I held her at arm’s length with my hands gripping her shoulders tightly. I looked her good in the eyes.

“Princess Gaia, what I know about your father is that he loves you more than life itself. And he did what he did for you, not because he chose the pack over you. The pack is his whole world, but you are his life. He wouldn’t give you up just like that. Besides, I don’t think it would actually be that bad to be the mate of the most powerful alpha!” I stamped my last words with a wink that had her snorting and rolling her puffy eyes.

“Remember it is Zeus we are talking about here. I don’t even know how he looks like. He’s probably some old fart with a wrinkled d**k and ugly face. A living nightmare. And you tell me it wouldn’t be that bad?” ouch! I threw my head back and let out full belly laughter. I could feel Zeus snorting and giggling at me. It turned out that my mate had a very horrible imagination about me. I thought of revealing myself to her but brushed off that. I didn’t want to ruin the surprise.

“But we are not sure of that. Are we? Who knows? He might be one of the hottest bachelor Alpha of all the times. He’s a half-vampire remember. And well, I heard vampires do have looks that knock ladies out.” I retorted. She just rolled her eyes and walked to a pot of lily that was facing down. She slowly breathed life into it and the flower came to live. It never ceased to amaze me how much nature listened to her. I walked beside her in search of wilted flowers. We joked around about the so called Zeus, while killing time with flowers. My vampire tugged at me, my eyes picked up sound of voices that was coming to the direction of the lake, which was a yard from the glass house. It was Dante and Hermes.

“Princess Gaia, I have to go meet Alpha Dante. Please excuse me.” I gave her a small bow.

“Oh? Its okay Hermes you can go. Thank you for your time. It’s really appreciated.” She said with the warmest smile that had me nearly kissing her. I cleared my throat and exited her glasshouse. Then vanished back to my previous position on my bed in Kratos.

My eyes flew open and I turned to find Dalina perched on my side, naked. Not now please. Not when I just spent some quality time with my one true mate.

My wolf literally rolled eyes at me and shut off the mind link even before I could utter anything to it. Dalina moaned before moving her hand up and down on my chest.

“Hmmmm. You’ve been gone for too long my lion. I missed you!” she purred in a coy voice. If it was a normal day, I would have had my d**k deep inside her by a minute. But this wasn’t a normal day. I couldn’t spend my whole day laughing with Gaia then come back to f**k this b***h. I shoved her hand from my chest and rose from the bed.

“Get out Dalina I didn’t call you.” I commanded in a very annoyed tone.

“But Zeus you’ve barely touched m…” she tried to talk back. But I stopped her.

“It’s Ulfric. You are not allowed to call me Zeus and you know that!” I roared out loud, causing her to shrink into her body when I turned to her with an angry look. She mumbled a quick apology.

“Good. Now get dressed and get the f**k out of here!” she blinked back tears and pulled on her black silk robe before scurrying out of my room. I walked to my bathroom and stepped into the shower. I turned on the faucet and hot water sprayed all over my back soothingly. I took a good minute fantasizing about my mate in a black baby doll nightie she was wearing last night. Her big boobs were held firmly by the lace bra of the nightie. She looked so hot. Sinfully hot. My d**k stood proud. I moved my hand up and down, trying to relief myself. After a few minutes of me and my thoughts of Gaia, I came and washed off the spunk.

I got out of the shower and tried off. Then dressed up into my casual clothes and walked out to where my office was located on the other side of the pack house. I mind-linked Ares to come to my office who respectfully agreed. I would trade life for him. Ares was the commander of Kratos army. He was strong as a bull and very loyal. I knew it in my heart that he would lay his own life down if I was hurt on the battle line. He was my right hand and the most trusted warrior in Kratos. He was also my beta.

I took my place behind the desk on a long leather seat that was decorated with diamonds and gold. In about a minute, Ares knocked on the door. I invited him inside.

“Ulfric Zeus!” he gave a small bow before walking to the seats that in front of my desk.

“I need you to prepare and go on a mission in Jukon pack. To get my mate and your Lupa.” I commanded with one hand perched under my chin.

“And when do I need to set off?” he asked intrigued. He always found the missions I gave him.

“Tomorrow morning. So that you can abduct her stealthily tomorrow night.” The abduction caught his attention even more.

“So I am going to kidnap her?” he probed with amusement dripping from his voice.

“More like it. But you will leave my seal as a sign that she’s with me. Her father will not worry since he knows I will go get her at any moment.” I shrugged my response. He promised that he will do a smooth job and that I knew! Ares never disappointed. He then gave me a small bow and exited my office. I reclined on my seat with a smile on my face.

In two days, my mate will be here with me! And I could wait to see the look on her face when she saw me!
