-I WANT HIM SO BADLY-
" What do you mean by that?" Robert's curiosity took over.
"My dad would never know. We can hide it from him," Nina said.
" Sounds easy when you say that but the truth is that I would never betray my best friend. Robert said. The two of them went back and it was really going to be hard for him to throw everything away by going after his daughter. No, no way. That is not going to happen.
" This makes me wonder? Don't you miss me? Was it not the best s*x you've ever had in your entire life. For me, that was my best s*x ever," Nina admitted but of course Robert was never going to admit that to get even if it was his truth too.
"We have arrived at my office, let's go in already," Robert changed that conversation as soon as he parked the car.
Nina didn't like that he was avoiding that conversation but she promised herself that she was not going to stop bringing it up until she gets to know what he really feels for her.
She is so sure that he has some crazy feelings about her. There is no way that she is the only crazy person in this relationship.
" Welcome to my office Nina," Robert said after walking past the secretary who was really staring at them.
" I love it, " Nina said, going to take a seat at his fancy chair.
" We will have to get you a desk by the window since you will be working closely with me. I will teach you all that you need to know about business management," Robert said but Nina was not interested in all that.
" I can picture us making love in this seat," She teased before winking at him.
Robert felt sweet tingles run through his body when he thought of that but he had to pull his shreds of control. He is the mature person here and he needs to be in control at all times. He cannot afford to lose control.
" I think we are done here. You will report to work tomorrow at 8:00am. Pass by the secretary and let her give you the rules of this place," Robert said in a dismissive voice that caught Nina by surprise.
" What! Aren't you going to drop me home?" She asked.
" I have some work to do, you have to go now," Robert said in a stern voice but looking up, he met Nina's disappointed face.
" I am sorry, let me take you home then," He said. As much as he wanted to put some boundaries, the last thing that he wanted was to hurt her feelings. She wanted to see her happy and ever smiling.
Nina was silent on their drive home. She did not know where Robert's head was. Was he truly in love with her or was it just a one night stand to him?
" See you tomorrow," Robert said as soon as he parked neatly right outside their gate.
Nina didn't care about how he was going to take it. She acted on her feelings. She kissed him on the lips before stepping out.
" See you tomorrow Handsome,"She said and instantly Robert looked around to see if someone saw them. This town was really a conservative one, if someone ever saw them kissing then it would be a problem.
When he was sure that no one saw them and that Nina went into his father's house safely, he found himself smiling. He needed that kiss. That kiss, as simple as it looked, was able to bring his world to a standstill.
This girl was going to be the end of him one day.
Nina went home feeling excited. She made herself a plate by warming leftovers and started eating. She kept on thinking about how much they are going to have in his office. There are so many places where the two of them will f**k. Damn, she can't wait for all those moments. She was so crazy about him. She was literally going to do everything in her power to have him in her life.
After lunch, she started stalking Robert when she received a call from Derrick. She rolled her eyes and hung up the call. There is no possible way that she was going to listen to him after what he did to her.
Derick called over and over again but she didn't pick his call. In the end, he decided to leave a voice note.
" Nina, I am really sorry. I was so stupid to f**k Heather. She led me on. Please, don't give up on us. You are the best thing to ever happen to me. My daddy issues might have led me to do what I did but I deeply apologise and I am so sorry. Don't hate me my love, talk to me. I am really dying to hear from you. Say something," He was literally begging but Nina was not moved by his texts. She ended up blocking him so that he never reached out.
There is no excuse. Just because his father abandoned them doesn't mean that he should cheat on her with her best friend. That was so low of him and to be honest, he does not deserve a girl like her.
As a matter of fact, she has moved on and she believes that he was one of those mistakes that people make.
Right now she is at a better place. The only thing that is on her mind is finding ways to make Robert be madly in love with her once again. She knows that he has feelings for her, he has just allowed those feelings to be suppressed because of his insecurities. He is so afraid of what the society will say when they see the two of them together. Anyway, she doesn't care about all that, she only cares about the two of them being in a steamy relationship.
