Chapter 18

Isa POV

It’s been 3 days since I found out about the supernatural realm and that I’m part of it. I read up on everything there was about Amazons, Vampires, werewolves and Lycans. Oh FYI my best friend is a vampire, how cool is that? No they don’t drink from humans, they evolved. It’s not the middle ages you know. I needed to know everything. Since then Belmont has been training with me. He says he’s proud of me and honestly so am I. I never thought I could be so into fighting, I never was one for violence but I understood what he said when he explained his reasons for wanting me to train.

“Okay amore, are you ready?” he yelled from a hundred yards away and I nodded. He started running towards me and the he jumped shifting to his wolf in mid-air. I jumped too swinging the makeshift sword in my hands aiming for his neck. I grabbed his neck fur and swung my body on top of his wrapping my legs around his chest. We went rolling on the ground and I could feel a sharp pain shoot through my shoulder but I held on. He trashed and jumped to get me off but I held on for dear life. He then ran to a tree and jumped up, using his massive legs he pushed away from the trunk mid run and landed on top of me. I felt the air rush out of my chest and my back ached but I didn’t let go and I was about to “slice his throat” when I realized I lost my weapon.

“Dammit!” I yelled and he jumped up shifting

“I’m sorry amore, did I injure you?” he asked holding out his hand to help me get up.

“No, no I lost my damn sword. I had you there. I just need to focus more. Can we go again?” I looked up at him seeing his eyes glaze over for a second then he smiled down at me.

“No amore, we are done for today. Let’s get you home.” I dusted off my clothes and nodded as we walked back home, home now being the castle. I finally got to see the castle. It’s beautiful really. There’s just one thing I can’t get used to and that’s people calling me majesty. I don’t like titles but no matter how many times I tell them to call me by my name they won’t stop. Belmont said yesterday that he’s been trying for years but eventually he just gave up.

As we entered the castle I saw the usual hustle and bustle. I looked at Belmont and he gave me the famous megawatt smile.

“You need to get ready for dinner amore, we are having a guest for dinner this evening.” He said kissing my knuckles

“Oh why didn’t you tell me sooner? I could’ve cooked something special. Is this person important? I just need to know what to wear.” I asked

“Yes he’s very important, but don’t worry I took the liberty of selecting your dress. Michelle is waiting for you as well. So hurry now and I’ll see at 6 o’clock.” He bent down kissing me sweetly. I on the other hand narrowed my eyes at him suspiciously

“You’re hiding something Belmont Drago Reyes, I can feel it. But okay, I have plenty of time to think of a punishment. See you later” I turned on my heel and left giving a little extra sway to my hips because we all know he can’t keep his eyes off me. I heard a low growl and glanced back seeing his eyes flash bright gold. Suck it mister. I smirked and left for my room.

When I entered Michelle and two other girls were waiting for me. They ushered me into the bathroom and I took a shower washing my hair. As I scrubbed my body my fingers traced some of the scars. This is why I’m not good enough for him, I know he’s seen it and didn’t say anything but I’m disgusted with myself how can he not be? A tinge of sadness crossed my chest but I had no time to linger, Michelle knocked on the door

“Majesty, we don’t have much time” she said and I finished up.

When I stepped out the bathroom everything became a blur. Michelle was doing my hair. One of the other girls was doing my make-up and the third one was asking a million questions about shoes and accessories.

When they were done I stepped into the walk in closet and I gasped. The dress that hung there was absolutely stunning. It was a light pink dress with a lace bodice. Fine silver trimming and embroidery ran down from the heart shaped neck line down to  the flaring bottom.

“Oh god it’s beautiful" I said still in awe

“It will look even better on you majesty now please let’s get you dressed” Michelle urged and I did. I felt very self-conscious about my body but they didn’t even glance. When I was done I turned to the full length mirror.

“Is that me?” I asked surprised not recognizing the woman in front of me. My platinum blonde hair was in a half up do, the bottom half styled in soft curls that fell softly down past my shoulders. My make-up was natural and elegant. Then Michelle placed a diamond necklace around my neck and the one girl placed the same colored medium heels at my feet.

“You are a vision majesty.” Michelle said and the other girls nodded in agreement. I turned to them

“Thank you all so much. I’ve never looked this beautiful in my entire life” I said swallowing the lump in throat.

“Oh majesty you’re too kind we just enhanced the beauty that was already there. But we have to leave now. The king is already waiting” Michelle said ushering me out of the room. I walked down the hall and as I got to the top of the grand staircase I looked up and saw Belmont. He looks good enough to eat. His charcoal colored tailored suit fit his huge physique perfectly. His dress shirt was a lighter grey and his tie matched my dress. Oh lord have mercy. But when I met his piercing silver grey eyes my knees nearly buckled. He looked at me with so much love and desire I nearly pulled him back to the room to do things I never even thought I was capable of thinking of. He gave me that bright smile while offering his arm.

Belmont POV

I stood there waiting for my amore fiddling with my cufflinks and then I caught her scent when I looked up the world stopped. She was so beautiful already but the colour of the dress made her eyes pop. The dress hugged her body perfectly showing off her curves. Oh goddess that neck.

“I can’t wait until she wears our mark” Duke said blissfully. I just hummed and when she came to a stop in front of me I just smiled and offered her my arm.

“You look breath-taking amore” I whispered as we descended the stairs on our way to the dining hall. She blushed and smiled back up to me

“You look very handsome yourself my king” she said shyly and my heart picked up pace. We entered the dining hall and Mihai and Valerie were already there.

“Your highness, your majesty” they chimed and bowed. Isa and I bowed in greeting but then I saw a confused look on Isa’s face

“Where is the special guest Belmont?” she asked looking at me confused

“Oh he’s on his way my queen let’s get something to drink shall we?” I said and everyone took a glass of champagne. Valerie and Isa were chatting about training and I just stood there admiring her. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked to Mihai

“It’s time Belmont” he whispered and I smiled brightly nodding. I cleared my throat and the ladies turned their attention to me

“Thank you all for joining us this evening, the queen to be and myself appreciate it immensely. But there is still one guest absent from our party. So without further ado, can you bring him in please?” I said turning my attention to Mihai, he nodded and came walking in with a small boy holding his hand. He had his mother’s platinum blonde hair but he had piercing green eyes. Like my brother. He looked very dapper in his small suit. I watched as his face lit up when he saw her. I heard a glass shatter and she clasped her hands over her mouth in surprise. She ran up to him with her arms open tears streaking her face.

“Cayden!” she yelled dropping to her knees as he ran into her arms throwing his small arms around her neck

“Mommy! I missed you!” he said hugging her tightly she pulled away scanning his face with her hands. The way she did with me when she woke up in hospital. She was laughing and crying at the same time. My heart burst with joy. This is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.

“Oh god baby I missed you too. I can’t believe you’re here, you’re really here. My beautiful baby boy.” She said before kissing him all over his face while holding him to her. He started squirming and tried to push her away

“Mom stop! Mom you’re getting spit on me!” he protested that made us all giggle

“Oh hush you love it” before starting to tickle him. They both laughed and then I got down on one knee next to them.

“Hello little one.” I said in a gentle tone but before he could do anything Isa threw her arms around my neck and kissed me with a passion I’ve never felt before

“Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is the best gift ever! Thank you so much. I love you” and those words shattered my entire being. She loves me. I picked her up and kissed her again while hugging her tightly. But then I felt a small bump on my leg, I looked down into those beautiful green eyes

“Hey put my mommy down.” He said seriously. I chuckled and put her down and squatted down to him

“Hey little one, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you.” I said extending my hand. He placed his little hand in mine giving me a nice firm shake

“Oh strong handshake, you can tell a lot of a man by his handshake. I see you are fearless like your mother” I said smiling but his face was stoic

“I’m not afraid of anything, not even the boogy man.” He stated and we all chuckled

“Well then there you have it. A fearless young man indeed” I said trying my best to look serious. I glanced up at Isa, her face still streaked with tears but she was so proud of him. I looked back at him smiling again

“My name is Belmont and this is my home. Tell me fearless one, would you like to stay here with us?” I asked. His face lit up with a bright smile

“In the castle?!” he squealed jumping up and down

“Yes in the castle, would you like that?” I asked my voice gentle

“Yes! Yes! Yes!” he screamed and the next thing I knew he tackled me to the floor wrapping his arms around my neck and hugging me tightly. I had no choice, I had to hug him back. I already loved him because she loved him.

“He’s our pup now” Duke said proudly.

“He’s strong Drago, for a child. Watch him closely, he will do great things with our guidance” Koa said

“I agree” I replied and got up from the floor. Isa was hugging Mihai and Valerie thanking them for bringing him home. Then his little voice whispered in my ear

“Are you my dad?” I looked at him in surprise and answered him honestly

“Do you want me to be?” and he nodded yes hugging me again

“I would, you’re big and strong like superman. And you’re a good man I can see that. Can I go to mommy now?” I was shocked at first but I nodded and put him down so he ran to her grabbing her legs. Okay so first she tells me she loves me, then he says he can see I’m a good man and then he wants me to be his dad. Okay at this moment my life is complete.
