George's PoV

Two days have passed, and I'm going to go to the venue to examine our wedding venue's design process.

"You don't want to come to see the place?" I inquired Beatrice as I dressed.

"I want to be with Darwin; you can video call me when you get there so I can see the place as well," Beatrice explained.

"All right," I said as I walked out of our room, straight to the chin, and saw Darwin eating chips from the kitchen drawer.

"You're going out, dad? Be careful, dad," Darwin advised as I approached him.

"You'll look after your mother, okay?" I asked, and Darwin nodded.

"Yes, I will keep an eye on mom, don't worry," Darwin replied.

I left the house, got in my car, fastened my seatbelt, and then started my car's engine. I drove my car and did music while on the trip; I'm sure Beatrice would like the design of the venue I chose for our wedding.

Johnny is also going because he is accompanying me; he stated that the invitations letter for our wedding has already been prepared. When I arrived at the Hacienda venue and parked, I noticed Johnny standing outside his car and got out of my car.

"Good morning, master," Johnny said as we walked into the venue.

"Let's go inside the venue and check," I suggested to Johnny as I saw Sasha as well.

"Follow me, sir," Sasha said, and we did, and when we arrived at the wedding hall, we entered right away.

The wedding design was simple yet chic, with an ambiance light in the venue. String lights and votive candles, neon signs, or tea lights create a welcoming atmosphere for the guests.

There was a table centerpiece of local clusters, delicate vases, candles, table runners, and a lounge area for the guests to sit in.

Drape ceiling fabrics are also added to the venue, along with lanterns and hanging flowers. There will also be a balloon display later in the venue.

As we prepared for our wedding, they also installed a sound system. Each table has also been decorated in the style of what Beatrice would like with flowers, and I have handpicked the glassware and plates that will be used.

Chandeliers were also going to be placed in the venue as I observed the proper lighting for the platform to give that desired light effect.

Sasha also used star and moon shapes as table place settings and dreamy colors like navy, silver, gold, and black in the centerpieces.

Sasha also handed over the menu for the guests and the list of events at the venue, which I double-checked to ensure that everything went as planned.

There will be a moving seafood station in the venue for vampires who like to eat mortal food, and they will have choices like pizza, a bite-sized grilled cheese paired with a small serving of tomato soup.

There is also a unique table for guests who want to personally grill their meat on a Grazing Table.

"I want a dessert truck in the venue, Sasha," I suggested, and she was surprised.

"Okay, it will cost you for that request," Sasha responded.

I was surprised because her design was so good, so I grabbed my phone and dialed Beatrice's number.

"Just let me know, sir, if you want to add a design," Sasha said, and I nodded.

"I'll leave you first, sir. Look at the designs we created," Sasha said, and I nodded once more.

"Johnny, check to see if they're doing well; I will just call Beatrice," I said to Johnny and went to the messenger; fortunately, I had learned how to make a video call.

Beatrice answered my video call right away, and I smiled at her, who was now with Darwin.

[Hello! I will give a quick look!] Beatrice said, and I put my video on the back camera.

[Wonderful!] Darwin looked up.

[Nice, dad! The venue looks beautiful] Darwin exclaimed, and I simply smiled.

"Do you want something to eat before I get home," I suggested, slowing their response?

[You go to a Japanese restaurant and buy mortal food because Darwin and I want to eat again what we ordered last time,] Beatrice said, and I nodded.

"All right, you have already seen the design for our wedding, so I'm hanging up now," I said, about to hang up when I heard a noise in my house.

[Mom, I have the impression they are vampire hunters here,] I heard Darwin say, and Beatrice dropped her phone.

"What happened, Beatrice?!" I yelled, but Darwin and Beatrice both shouted.

The phone call abruptly ended, and I dashed out of the venue and into my car. I drove it right away, and I'm going fast now because I'm so scared.

I tried to call Beatrice while I was driving, but she wasn't picking up, so I sped up my car to get back to our house as soon as possible.

When I arrived at my house, the gate had been smashed open, and the windows had been broken. Inside, I can still feel Beatrice and Darwin.

I got out of my car as soon as I found Beatrice and Darwin.

I saw Beatrice protecting Darwin from the vampire hunters when I entered my mansion.

Beatrice's shield was about to break; I used my telekinesis to make the vampire's hunter float in mid-air.

"George!" I saw the blood on Beatrice's nose when she screamed.

"Take off your shield now!" The vampire hunters attacked me after I yelled.

"Here's what we're looking forward to! Murder him!" They told me, and I'm not sure who ordered it, but I'm sure another mortal knew about my information and wanted to kill me.

"You dare to come here to my house!" I told vampires hunters, and then I used gravity powers on them.

"Why are you planning to murder me? You can't even get near me," I smiled as I told them.

"Utilize your sword to slay this vampire!" One of their companions yelled, but I increased my gravity power, preventing them from moving.

"You're not going to use that," I said as I stole the sword with my telekinesis power.

As soon as I grabbed the sword, I threw it at their leader, striking his eye and instantly killing him.

"Darwin, use your ice power to the vampire's hunter! Beatrice, stay at my back!" I said to Darwin as he approached our enemies.

Darwin used his ice power to harden all of the vampire hunters so they could not move, and I used my psychokinesis to cause them to explode one by one. When they all died, I went turn to Beatrice, who was weak.

"Darwin pick the animal blood at the fridge and go to your room after giving it to me, I know that some vampire hunters will still come to fight me," I said to Darwin, and he nodded.

"You'll be fine," I told Beatrice, who just stared at me.

I immediately gave it to Beatrice after Darwin gave me the animal blood. Darwin went to his room, and I returned my gaze to Beatrice.

"The animal blood is not enough," Beatrice said as she bit me and drank blood from me.

Beatrice didn't say anything after finishing her drink, but I was surprised because she cried.

"I need to get stronger so that I can defend Darwin someday," Beatrice said.

"Do you want me to re-assign Johnny to this house?" I inquired of Beatrice.

"If you could just let him stay here from now on, I know I'm not that strong; Darwin knows that, and I saw the fear in his eyes earlier," Beatrice said as I hugged him. Darwin suddenly appeared in front of me.

"How is mom?" Darwin inquired of me.

"She's fine, don't leave your room first. It's dangerous," I told Darwin, and he immediately nodded.

"I need to find out why the vampire hunters want to kill me," I told Beatrice as we sat on the sofa.

"What if Harry was the one to do it? You let him go, and he is still alive," Beatrice informed me.

"I was nervous because if some vampire hunters went to our wedding and they found out my information that I was a vampire, I'm not sure how that happened unless they had a leader who knew me very well," I explained to Beatrice.

"Don't worry, and I'm just here to help you no matter what until death does us part; I won't leave you and abandon you," Beatrice said to me, and I smiled and hugged her.

"I was also nervous before because I thought I'd lose you again, and I didn't know what I'd do if that happened," I told Beatrice as she caressed my back.

"I'm glad you and Darwin are okay," I said as I let go of Beatrice's hug and took out my phone to call Johnny.

"I'll just call Johnny," I told Beatrice, who nodded.

I went out of my house and dialed Johnny's number, and he promptly returned my call.

[Master, where are you?! I've been waiting for you here outside,] Johhny said to me,

"I'm here at my house. I like the wedding hall design, and I need to tell you something," I told Johnny as I heard him get into his car.

[Please tell me what happened, sir, so that I may assist you.] Johnny said to me, and I walked out of my mansion.

"There are vampire hunters who attacked my mansion; I'm not sure where they got my information. I'm curious about their leader. The belongings of the vampire hunters are still here. You can look into it here so you can exam it," I informed Johnny.

[All right, Master, I'm on my way,] Johnny said as he hung up the phone. I looked at the vampire hunters who were no longer alive because I had blown up all of their bodies earlier.

Their belongings are here, and I didn't want to touch or move them because I knew only Johnny could solve this case. I returned to my house and noticed Beatrice talking to Darwin.

"What are you talking about?" I inquired Beatrice.

"Darwin says it's his fault the vampire hunters are here," Beatrice explained as I approached Darwin.

"It's not your fault; I'm the one they went to, not you," I explained, and Darwin was taken aback.

"That's what I told him, but he didn't believe me, but he did believe you right now," Beatrice explained.

"Darwin is at ease with me because I'm a man, and you're a woman who knows how to be the ease at woman also," I explained to Beatrice, who pouted at me.

"Are you jealous?" I inquired of Beatrice.

"No," Beatrice replied softly, averting her gaze.

"Don't be jealous, mom; I believe what you said as well, but I'm not sure why I had the feeling I wasn't sure about what you said before," Darwin told Beatrice.

"Don't worry about the vampire hunters, and your father will deal with them if they attack again," Beatrice assured Darwin.

"I'm not worried about vampire hunters; I'm worried about you two, mom and dad, especially you mom, because I see you're not very strong, and you already know that, don't you?" Darwin said to Beatrice, and she laughed.

"One day, I'll be stronger! Wait until I get stronger, and I'll show you!" Beatrice smiled at the child as she spoke.

"Thank you for your assistance earlier, Darwin; you became strong because you saw me," I said to Darwin, who smiled back.

"When I saw you, Dad, all of my fears vanished. I know you needed my assistance right away, so I prepared." He said, and I messed up Darwin's hair.

"Perhaps you'd like to do something, and I'll join you," I suggested to Beatrice and Darwin.

"Do you want to play mortal games?" Beatrice inquired.

"What kind of game is that?" I inquired of Beatrice.

"I brought a game when I came here to your mansion, and I'm always ready," Beatrice told me as she stood up.

"All right, but first and foremost, we need to fix this place before we do anything," I told Beatrice as we cleaned the area and repaired the vampire hunter's remains so that Johnny could investigate them.

After we cleaned, Beatrice went upstairs, and when she came down with cards, I'm not sure what it was, she sat on the floor, and Darwin and I imitated her.

"Truth or Dare, I know how to play this game," Darwin explained.

"With whom do you play truth or dare?" Beatrice immediately inquired of Darwin.

"Those village kids called me when I went for a walk to look for animal blood to drink," Darwin explained.

"And you, George, do you know how to play this?" Beatrice inquired.

"I'm not sure because games like this weren't popular before, were they?" Beatrice nodded when I asked her.

"You're right, it wasn't trendy before, but now it is because this game will make you laugh while also making you sad because of the truth," Beatrice said as she placed the cards in the center.

"Who will be the first to draw a card?" Darwin and I were both asked by Beatrice.

"I'm going to be the first!" Darwin stated, and he drew out the card and showed us it was a dare.

"Tell us about three things that make you smile, as written on the dare card!" Darwin responded immediately to Beatrice's statement.

"First is ate mortal food and then wandered around the mortal mall, and the last one is that you are always with me!" Darwin said something that made me smile.
