Chapter 12

George's PoV "Leave her alone!" I yelled and was surprised when he bit Beatrice, so I became even more frustrated and jumped towards him. "f**k you!" I growled at Louis, and he laughed as I choked him. "Are you concerned about your wife? Caroline's soul is already present in that woman's body!" Louis told me, and I threw him away and rushed to Beatrice. "Beatrice, stay with me; I will heal your wounds," I said to Beatrice, using my healing power to heal the deep wound in her neck. "George behind you!" Beatrice said that's why I smirked and stretched my nail to pierce Louis's chest. "You can't beat me, Louis, so give up now! Why have you returned here?" I growled at Louis, surprised because Beatrice had hit Louis with the base of a flower. "Beatrice, go upstairs to your room and hide!" I told Beatrice, and she nodded, and Louis strangled me, but I used my strong power to weaken him. "Do you think you'll be able to obtain royal blood from Beatrice? I haven't turned her into a vampire-like I have," I told Louis, and he became irritated and shouted at the same time. "I swear I'll be back!" Louise sighed and formed into a bat as he exited my mansion, and I dashed to Beatrice's room. "Are you all right? You don't have any other wounds, do you?" I inquired of Beatrice. "I'm fine, but he bit my neck earlier, and it hurts. I can still feel his fangs sinking into my neck." I approached Beatrice after she said something sad to me. "Do you want me to erase that memory for you?" I inquired of Beatrice. "Can you do that?" Beatrice asked, and I stroked her cheek. "Yes, I can do that, and after that, you will fall asleep," I told Beatrice as I lay her down. "I'm ready," Beatrice said, and I stroked her hair. I used my magic to remove Louis' bite from Beatrice. I began erasing Louis' memory where he had just arrived there. I noticed Beatrice was sleeping and put the blanket on her; I'll stay next to her now. I have so many questions, hours have been pass, and I saw Beatrice wake up. "You weren't here earlier. Where did you go, George?" Beatrice inquired. "I went to the market, and when I returned, you were already asleep, and I just want to hang out here because you are my wife's reincarnation," I explained, and Beatrice was surprised. "Is that true? You're not joking?" I nodded when Beatrice asked. "Do you not remember me? Can you recognize me?" When I asked Beatrice, she shook her head. "I just met you when I came to this mansion because I'm your maid," Beatrice said to me, and I became sad. "Can you remember me if we go on a date? Like we used to do when you are my wife in the past life," Beatrice laughed when I told her. "It's impossible that I'm the one you're looking for, your reincarnated wife," Beatrice said to me, and I kissed her lips, which surprised her. "George, what are you doing? What did you kiss me?!" Beatrice inquired. "Perhaps you'll remember when I kissed you," I said to Beatrice as I noticed her cheek turn red. "I'll try to remember something, and I agree with you that we'll date even if it takes a few months or years," Beatrice said, and I smiled. "All right, you said that; I hope you remember me and know how much I miss you," I told Beatrice and touched her cheek. "If you're the man in my dream, I'm sure I'm the one you're looking for," Beatrice said, smiling. "Go back to sleep. It's only three o'clock in the morning," I said, and Beatrice laid down again, spreading his hand. "Hold my hand in case you can enter my dream," Beatrice said, closing her eyes as I took her hand in mine. Beatrice thought I might be able to enter a dream. She was sound asleep now and still holding my hand tightly. It's good she doesn't sleepwalk anymore; I noticed her smiling and thought she dreamed about the man. She said that it was the same voice, same body like mine. I saw the sun is rising, and she woke up and let go of my hand. "Did you dream about a man that has the same voice and body as mine?" I inquired of Beatrice. "Yes, you're right, but he still looks vague, and you have the same voice and body," Beatrice said, and I smiled. "I can still wait, and I won't force you if you weren't Caroline in your previous life," I said to Beatrice as I stood up. "Would you like me to prepare you breakfast?" I inquired of Beatrice. "Okay, make me some bacon and egg. That's my favorite!" Beatrice told me, so I exited her room and dashed to the kitchen. When I took the bacon and egg out of the fridge, I noticed that we were out of bacon and egg. "We are out of bacon and egg," I informed Beatrice. "Should we buy right now?" Beatrice inquired. "It's a date then, let's go to the mall," I said, and when I looked at Beatrice's, her hair was in a ponytail. "Alright!" Beatrice gave me a mixed smile in response. When Beatrice sat down, I placed the bacon and egg I had cooked on the table and handed her the glass of milk. She began eating, and I sat down, staring at her. I smiled because I saw Caroline to her, and I was pleased that she would try to recall our memories. "You're looking at me again," Beatrice said. "You have no idea how much I miss you," I told Beatrice and noticed that her cheek was flushed. "We still don't know if I'm the reincarnation of your past wife," she said, and she finished her breakfast food. "Thank you for cooking me breakfast," Beatrice said to me as she stood up. "I'm going to take a bath," Beatrice said, and I nodded. I took my phone from my pocket as I waited for her. When I looked at the picture of the two of us, I noticed that her smile was identical to Caroline's. I'll invite her to take some photos later at the mall. I eventually saw Beatrice coming down, and she was dressed in a pink dress. It suited her. I stood up and took my coat, then laughed because I remembered I hadn't taken a bath yet. "I haven't taken a bath because I'm too excited," I told Beatrice, who laughed. "I'll wait for you, so go take a bath now," Beatrice said to me, and I hung the coat on the opposite door once more. I quickly went to my room, went to the bathroom, and took a bath immediately. When I finished my bath, I decided what I would wear; my clothes had to be nice because it was our first date, but if she were indeed Caroline, we would date again after a long time. When I finished wearing my black pants, I wore my blue jacket and put on my white rubber shoes, which Johnny had bought for me when this century began. I exited my room, and when I went downstairs, Beatrice stared at me. "It suits you. Here is your coat?" Beatrice inquired. "I'm not going to wear that now because I'm wearing a jacket," I told Beatrice, and she walked out; I followed her and opened the door of my car for her. When I got in the car and buckled my seatbelt, Beatrice looked at herself on her phone. "You are beautiful already. Why are you fixing yourself?" I inquired to Beatrice, and she laughed. "How can you say I'm beautiful? Am I resemble her?" Beatrice inquired. "You don't look like my wife, but someone told me that her soul is with you," I explained to Beatrice, and she was taken aback. "It's very different when it comes to fantasy or magical," Beatrice said as I began driving. "Which shopping mall are we going to? Is it the one we visited before, or is it another mall?" I inquired Beatrice. "Express Mall is another mall with a diverse selection of attractions. You conduct a Google Maps search. Do you know how to use a search engine?" When Beatrice asked, I pulled over to the side of the road. "How?" When I asked Beatrice, she grabbed my phone "This is how you get here on Google Maps," Beatrice said, and I could smell her. "Do you understand?" I nodded when Beatrice asked. "Yes, I understand," I replied Beatrice, and I went to the Express Mall she mentioned, saw the location, and drove again. I couldn't stop myself. I wanted to kiss her while I was driving. I had just discovered that Caroline's soul was in her body, so I became like this. We eventually arrived at the express mall. After parking my car, she directed us to the parking lot, which we entered. When I came out, I unbuckled the seatbelt, and Beatrice came out to adjust her dress. "Come on," I said to Beatrice as I extended my hand. "Are you certain you're going to hold my hand?" When Beatrice asked, I took her hand in mine. "Yes, I'm sure, I'm not ashamed," I said to Beatrice as we walked into the mall. Beatrice's PoV I have a different feeling for George. I don't know why, but why is that? His hand is a little fluffy, and my cheeks become so hot I wish he would overlook that. "Let's buy that bacon and egg later," George suggested. "All right," I said, and we began walking. George saunters because he knows I'm a woman and can't walk fast. "Let us take a picture of the two of us," George said as he pulled out his phone. "Do you know how to take pictures?" I inquired to George. "Yeah, I know that," George said as he positioned his phone's camera on the front cam. George suddenly held my waist closer to him, and I unintentionally placed my left hand on his stomach. I hugged him and smiled because he had hard abs. "Are you okay, Beatrice? Do you remember something?" I was taken aback when George asked. "Nothing! I touched your stomach because it's so tender. You have abs," I told George and averted my gaze. "I can show it to you later when we get home," George said, surprised that my heart was racing. "Don't! I'm fine, don't show me that I'll be angry with you if you did that," I told him, and I'm now nervous. "You and Caroline are the same; she also likes my abs," George said, and I couldn't believe what he said, wondering if I was his wife. But I haven't seen what she looks like, so I'm not sure if I'm really what he's looking for, so he discovered that his wife's soul is in my body? Maybe he knew a witch or a soothsayer. **
