Escaping

Aurela held her hand on her mouth as she stifled a yell. She felt cold shivers run through her spine and a knot formed in her throat. “So this was how her Father was going to get rid of her. Giving her to the Lycan king and removing her from the pack.” “I need to escape,” Aurela said to herself in a quiet voice with fear written all over her. Just then she heard heavy footsteps outside the door. The door opened and Luna Kathryn stepped in. “I hope you are not planning on escaping?” She scowled at Aurela. “You wouldn’t even dare!” Aurela gave one final look of hope to her mother but she wasn’t ready to change her mind. “We will be sending you to the Lycan king,” Luna Kathryn said with an evil sparkle in her eyes. “Pack whatever you have. Tomorrow, we are expecting him to pick you up and do not try to play smart because if we fail to please him, you will cease to exist.” Luna Kathryn scoffed and then flashed a death gaze at her before turning to go. She walked out, closing the door behind her as Aurela could hear the click of the lock. Aurela was exhausted from everything that had happened. She collapsed on the bed, hating her life, hating her parents for giving birth to her. But who she despised most was her mate, Ethan. Deep in her thoughts she decided to escape through the window in her room after midnight but first she will have to rest. She continued in that posture for a long time until her stomach grumbled, reminding her that she hasn’t had anything since today. She got up and realized that it was dark outside. Still feeling dreadful inside of her, Aurela dragged herself to the bathroom. She had her bath and came back to dress in anything she could wear to escape. She packed a few clothes and closed her suitcase tightly. Aurela laid down waiting for midnight to approach. She felt mixed thoughts of terror and liberation. When it was time for her to escape , she flung her bag out of the window. About to climb down, a wolf attacked her through the window, sending fear down her spine. She screamed and fell on her back. Drawing close to the glass to see who it was, she discovered the pack house was already surrounded by some of her father’s bodyguards and Ethan was the one who attacked her. They were keeping check on her. Aurela sat back on her bed, disoriented, afraid, feeling betrayed and entirely sick when a bolt of lightning sent cold shivers through her. She took her bedspread and covered her face in it. She screamed loudly and called for her wolf, who was still not answering for comfort before she dozed off. ***** The door of the room opened with a loud bang. Aurela wrenched her eyes wide and raced to sit upright. Her mother was standing akimbo near her bed. “Wake up, f**l!” She cursed her. “It’s time to dress you up and wait for your new master. Aurela looked around and realized she had slept for a long time seeing that the strong rays of sun filtered through her window. It was beyond morning. Luna Kathryn brought her a gorgeous dress for the first time and even helped Aurela put the outfit on. Aurela looked very gorgeous in her change in dress and hairstyle. She had never tried out a different style because she was trying to please her father. She looked sick and underweight from all the stress she had gone through. “Why me?” Aurela asked her mother as she placed a blue eyeshadow across her eyelids. Luna Kathryn smirked, “Because you are not of importance to us and Aiden Reed will prefer an untouched gift.” “But I’m not willing to go,” Aurela replied, feeling the crawl of fear in her chest. Your opinion doesn’t matter. “You have to be willing, as it is either this or you cease breath.” Luna Kathryn finished and glanced at her work. “When the Lycan king comes, you have to greet him and accept him. If he refuses you, you will be sent to the dungeon where you will have a horrible death.” Just then, Alpha Roland, Ethan and Aurora walked into the room. Alpha Roland instructed Ethan and Aurora to make sure she doesn’t escape from her room while they waited for the Lycan king to arrive. As soon as Alpha Roland and Luna Kathryn left the room, Ethan pushed Aurela to the wall, ignoring the presence of Aurora in the room. She winced as the pain surged through her brain but swiftly vanished. “Your virgin body will soon be underneath Alpha Aiden Reed and you seem to be happy about it. Do you really think he will take one look at you as a maid, and not want to have you warm his bed, huh? Do you honestly think I would let you go after refusing to let me have an experience of what my mate tastes like? You are mine, and I don’t think I can let you go without having you first.” Ethan’s words pulled her out of her world of pain and came as a shock to her. He sniffed her hair and gave a slight moan. Tears threatened to spill down her face. She didn’t want to give in, but she could feel her wolf long for his touch even though she couldn't transform into her wolf form she could feel her around Ethan. She pleaded with the Moon Goddess to help her overcome her mate’s desires. She couldn’t stand being rejected after he had her. “You can’t,” she said hoarsely. “You will get into trouble, and we don’t need that right now.” She had lost everything. She couldn’t let him take her virtue too, she thought to herself. “Trouble?” I’m not scared of him, Aurela.” Ethan laughed in a sadistic manner, his actions revealed his fear. Holding her neck tightly, he was about to caress her cheeks, when Aurora’s voice made him pause. “What are you doing Ethan? You can’t have anything to do with that good for nothing sister of mine,” Aurora said with jealousy laced in her voice. “Make sure you don’t hurt her,” we wouldn’t want to get on the bad side of Alpha Aiden. She added in anger, but her advice was too late as he had already injured Aurela. “The “Lycan king is here,” we can’t keep them waiting.” Luna Kathryn called out.
