“Why did you let her go, we don’t even know this man!” Viola’s mother yelled to her from the other end of the phone. Now that Viola was now a mother she understood how her own mother had felt, almost losing Amber once was taking a toile on her.
As much as she wanted to explain to her mother that it was Amber’s own choice to leave Viola’s home and move in with Nick, her mother was not for this and she was not about to change her mind.
“Mother, Nick is Tate’s best friend and I think you should understand that—“
“ I don’t want to hear a single thing, I just want your sister back home with me” her mother cut her off, her mother’s finals words were a warning that was meant to be followed and Viola knew that disobeying her mother was one thing that she should never think of doing.
