There was a moment of silence and then Nick began to look for Amber, there she was on the floor laying there, no movement and not even screaming like she was earlier.
Nick felt like it was a scene out of a movie and he knew just who their enemies were. He got up from the floor and crawled towards Amber, who was still, nick hoped that she was okay otherwise he might never forgive himself.
“Amber wake up! Wake up!” he called out to her and she responded by lifting up her head.
“What happened?” Amber asked him and that made him smile. Typical Amber was always one to ask questions to gain clarity of things.
“I think someone shot at the garage” He could see Amber’s eyes widen from fear and he knew he had to stop taking otherwise he might scare her.
