Green house

"What are you trying to do, Kai?" As expected, he could tell that Kai was up to something. Kai blinked innocently. He opened his mouth to speak but couldn't find the words. The man moved closer to him, his gaze was intimidating and Kai gulped as he backed against the wall. "W-wait... she's the one who asked for you not me okay!" "What if... I don't want to see her?" The man's voice was low making it sound almost creepy. "What?" Kai was surprised "You hit her Damian, you are suppose to apologize to her" "If she hadn't stepped into the road, it wouldn't have happened right?" Damien tilted his head a little. Kai was taken aback by his words. Although his brother was scary, he wasn't this cold towards anyone "If you were going to be like this, why did you bring her here? You could have left her to die there in the middle of the road" He was angry. Silence reigned for a while between them until Damian turned his back towards him "Make sure she leaves early tomorrow" He said coldly before retreating further into the dark room. Kai frowned. He couldn't understand why he was being like this at all. He scoffed before leaving the room. He met Gerald on the way and quickly smiled. "I heard she's awake" Gerald asked the boy and he nodded. He took a sigh of relief. Now, they could leave. These people looked suspicious to him. Before they would be able to find out anything, they need to leave the place. Though, it was already night, they could find somewhere else to sleep. "I am going to cook something for her. She must be hungry" Said Kai and Gerald was going to refuse but he thought that Sylvia must really be hungry. She hadn't tasted anything and has been sleeping all day. "I will join you" Gerald quickly offered. He didn't trust any of them. What if they poison her food? Kai could understand what he was thinking by just looking at his expression afterall, they will still strangers. Although he was just seventeen, he knew alot of things his peers didn't. "Fine" He nodded and they went to the kitchen together to prepare something. Gerald's eyes watched every ingredient that was added. He even sniffed some of them to be sure it was safe. ..... Sylvia had fallen asleep again after Kai left but when she woke up again, she saw Evelyn and Fiona beside her. They quickly stood up when they saw her eyes open. "My queen!" "Shhh... Don't call me that" Sylvia told them as she sat up "We need to always be careful Fiona. We don't know who's listening" They nodded. Looking like they understood. Just then, the door opened and the food was brought in. Fiona and Evelyn left first then Kai too after serving her. Before he left, Sylvia apologized "Sorry you have to accomadate and take care of us. Hope you don't mind us spending the night?" She smiled sweetly. Seeing how her lips stretched into a charming smile, Kai felt like he was in a trance. She was really beautiful when she dropped that mighty aura that was always around her. He felt his cheeks burn and immediately turned red. Gerald was the one who snapped his fingers in front of him before he came back to his senses. He hurriedly cleared his throat "You... Of course you can stay for as long as you want' That being said, he quickly left. "Did you just... Charm him?" Gerald asked her and she shrugged her shoulders. "I didn't do anything" She laughed when she recalled how the guy had stood frozen for a while looking at her. She didn't know why she kept finding him cute. Her expression turned serious again as she looked towards Gerald "What did you say to them when i didn't heal?" "I told them your healing capabilities were slow and they should give you sometime then i sneaked in later to heal you with spells. They didn't suspect anything" Sylvia nodded "We are leaving tomorrow" "I thought we were going to leave tonight but seeing as you haven't fully recovered, tomorrow it is then" Sylvia could understand what he was thinking "How far are we from where I was hit?" She asked when a thought entered her mind. "Not very far" Gerald answered "It's the green house at the front" Green house? Sylvia found herself frowning at this answer. The only Green house she had seen that time was the one she supposed the iron Claws lived in. If they were here then... "What's wrong?" Asked Gerald, seeing her dazed look. "Nothing" Sylvia wasn't sure yet so she didn't say anything to him. After he too left, Sylvia's brows furrowed deeply in thought. Kai, the grey eyed man and the one who hit her. If she was right, this were the only three people living here. One of them could be him. The iron Claws. Sylvia couldn't sleep. She stayed awake thinking about the possibilities and what was going on. Were they being played? She wondered too. She was still thinking when she heard a noise downstairs then a shrill scream followed making her quickly climb out of the bed. What was that? As she neared the door, she wondered what was happening down there. Different thoughts passed through her mind as she waited to hear it again but there was nothing. She wondered if it was her ears playing tricks with her but just when she was about to turn around, she heard it again. A scream. She froze and this time, she didn't hesitate before pulling the door open and going out of the room.
