"I didn't think you would help her out. What changed your mind?" Asked Gerald but Sylvia threw him a cold look that immediately shut him up. He made an action of zipping his mouth as they continued walking.
"What does the map say?" Sylvia asked him while looking ahead. She abrupty came to a stop and the others followed suit.
Gerald brought out the map he had personally and careful drawn by himself "I think it's around here. No one knows his exact place Sylvia"
Sylvia stared ahead at the building that could be spotted in the distance. A complicated emotion flashed in her eyes as she stood there as if shocked. She remembered this place and everything as if it was just yesterday. After she was captured, this was where he had brought her. He locked her up underground of the building for a few months before she escaped thanks to someone's help.
Memories flashed in her mind and she couldn't stop them. She blinked and took in a breath. Her face was back to being expressionless as she turned towards Gerald "Are you sure it's here"
"Somewhere around"
Unlike five years ago where this place had been nothing but a forest. Now it was cleared and there were a few more houses. This Iron Claws hadn't just copied that person's way of killing. He also bought over his previous house. Could it be that he was obsessed? Then he must have a mental issue for being obsessed with a killer!
"I think i know where" She said and the others looked at her "Let's go"
Sylvia had just taken one step onto the road when the sound of a motor cycle coud be heard behind her. It's speed was so fast as it approached that it couldn't stop on time when he saw her.
It was as if time slowed, Sylvi turned to see the motorcycle. The wind flew her silver coloured hair back as her fingers curled and her lips opened to utter a spell which would stop the bike but she realized that would give her away. What more was that they were close to where Iron Claws lives.
She folded her fingers back and closed her eyes as if awaiting it. Gerald stepped forward but before he too could react, the bike had already hit her and she rolled on the floor. Her vison turned black.
"My queen!" Seeing this scene, bith Evelyna and Fiona could not control their emotions and blurted that out.
"Sylvia!" Gerald rushed forward to hold her only to find her hair stained with blood and it kept seeping out from her head. His eyes widened in panic.
Before Gerald could think of anything, he felt a shadow looming over him and very soon, he was pushed away roughly. Gerald saw it was the motor cylcle man who had hit her and his eyes turned red in anger. He was so angry that he rushed to push the man away. The man was dressed in all black and had a dark helmet covering his face as he stared at the unconscious woman.
Before Gerald could reach him, he had already picked the woman up in his arms. His face was still obscured by the helmet as he looked at Gerald "She needs treatment. My place is close so I'll take her first"
"No, thanks. I will take her to the hospital myself" Said Gerald angrily as he tried to take Sylvia from him.
"Fine... But she'll die before you get there anyway" His tone was unfeeling as if he was not at fault for this which made Gerald much more angry. Why would he be speeding on a road like this without a care if he was going to hit someone.
But Gerald also knew that he was right. There was no hospital nearby and he couldn't use spells to heal her either. She could really die if they delayed any longer. Seeing the look on his face, the man tilted his face a bit.
"I see you've decided"
Gerald stepped away and the man strolled away with Sylvia in his arms. He placed her on the motorcycle.
Seeing this, Gerald's eyes widened and he quickly rushed over when he saw him about to take off with Sylvia but too late. The man had already drove away, leaving behind a ring of smoke.
Gerald didn't care. He ran after him while berating himself how he could be so careless. Sylvia was in a vulnerable state now and then he had left her in the hands of a complete stranger.
Thankfully, the man was not trying to run away as he stopped in front of a building that was not faraway and took Sylvia in. Gerald followed suit. He was breathing heavily when he arrived and still cursing himself. He had for once forgotten that they were in the enemies den.

Sylvia's eyes opened a bit but all she could see was a blur she could make out some figures in front of her and she could also hear voices but it sounded so distant. Her head pounded heavily in pain making her clutch the sheets and very soon, everything turned black once again.
When she woke up again, she felt a splitting headache as she sat up. Touching her head, she saw it was wrapped with gauze. Her eyes scanned the unfamiliar surrounding and she frowned. She was inside a vast room that was painted all in white. The marble floor and the furnitures around told her she was not in a hospital then where was she? The last thing she remembered was getting hit by that motorcycle.
"You're awake" This voice startled her and she looked in the direction it sounded to see a person sitting at a corner. He had a book in his hand as he stood up and approached her.
Getting a view of his face, Sylvia recognized him immediately. It was the young boy from yesterday "Kai?"
He flashed her a grin as he sat next to her on the bed "How are you feeling?"
"Where am I?" She looked around once again as she asked this, then a thought entered her mind "Were you the one on the motorcycle"
"No" Kai shook his head "That was my second brother. I have two brothers"
"Ahhh... I see" It was good that it was not him and it wasn't the grey eyed man either. She felt angry in her heart when she remembered how that person had hit her. How could someone drive so madly?
"How are you feeling?" He asked "You didn't heal earlier so we were a bit worried"
Heal?
Right... He thought she was a werewolf too like them. Little did he know that he was talking to a witch. While werwolves heal naturally, witches had to depend on their spells to heal so she wasn't surprised.
Instead of replying him or checking the injuries he was talking about, Sylvia asked a question back "You didn't answer where i am. Where is Gerald?"
"You are in our place. Your friends are fine too so you don't need to worry"
Hearing this, Sylvia heaved a secret sigh of relief and started to step down but Kai quickly disagreed. "The doctor injected you with something earlier and he mentioned to not let you go around once you recovered. Your head injury was a bit serious"
She didn't like the idea that she was injected without her consent but Sylvia didn't protest either and obediently laid back down. Her eyes secretly scanned the boy. It could not be a simple coincident that they were meeting again. What could this mean?
"I will get you something to eat" Kai announced. Sensing her cautious gaze, he smiled playfully and made to leave but Sylvia called him back.
"DIdn't you say the person who hit me was your brother? Then he should be here right or... Perhaps he doesn't feel guilty after nearly killing someone"
Seeing the look in her eyes, Kai could almost guess what she was thinking. She wasn't a woman who would just let things go. A mischeivous look passed through his eyes as he thought 'Things were about to get interesting'
"I don't think so. He personally brought you here himself. You might not know this but my brother hates touching people. Seeing him carry you in his arms shocked all of us. How about I bring him here to apologize"
Sylvia didn't say anything but in her mind, she thought 'As if an apology would suffice' her head was still hurting so much.
As Kai left, instead of heading to the kitchen as originally planned, he took a detour and entered a room that was so dark and silent. Any other person who wasn't used to this would feel afraid. Almost immediately, his angry voice called out.
"What do you want?"
Kai froze. In his excitement, he had already forgotten that this brother of his was scary. "That lady... She wants to see you"
"Why?" The man asked him still shrouded in the darkness.
"Because you owe her an apology for hitting her?"
A long silence followed before the man's voice sounded in the room again "Go. I'm not seeing her"
Kai's lips curved. He actually expected this. He opened the door and was about to leave obediently when he truned around and spoke again "Then... I'll just bring her here"
"No!" It was almost a roar and Kai resisted the urge to laugh. He could imagine his brother's angry face right now.
Slowly, he came out of the darkness and Kai gulped when he saw his eyes which had a flicker of red before he blinked and it returned to normal.
