"What do you mean by noisy?" Telph's head tilted to the side. "It's just that the monsters have been more active and unlike before they would be at least a little conscious while facing strong opponents but..." Cain did not finish his sentence. He did not need to finish it as Telph had already figured out the main idea. "Does the demonoid act like some sort of leader to the monsters?" Telph pinched his chin and stared at the center table allowing himself to fall into his thoughts. "Well, demonoids can't really become a sort of leader to the monsters but that will change if it has some sort of taming skill or maybe a fear-inducing skill that can make the monsters fear it." Filzer shared his knowledge and stood up from his chair. "To be able to tame or induce fear on the monsters in the Great Lands. This demonoid have to be stronger than any of the monsters residing on that monster hole." Cain had his eyebrow raised as he glanced at FIlzer, who was now heading to the door.Confusion was visible in his eyes. "That's not necessarily the case. Well, I can understand why you think that way. After all, you haven't seen every single monster at the Great Lands." Filzer shrugged and grab the two door knobs. "What are you doing?" Cain had already stood up and was marching towards Filzer when he asked. Telph who was lost in his thoughts earlier also came back to earth and was looking clueless about what was happening. "About to greet our guests." Filzer uttered nonchalantly and slammed the door open. Cain peeked behind Filzer and saw a dozen of people outside. They all had either wide-opened eyes or mouth, trembling or was a few steps back. Cain glanced at Filzer and raised his eyebrow. 'This old man did that on purpose.' Cain shook his head inwardly. Filzer had deliberately slammed the door open to surprise, no, to scare the people from the other side of the door. "Welcome! I suppose you are all here to talk about the subjugation request that infiltrator informed?" Filzer had a huge smirk in his face as he stared at the person standing in front of the crowd. Marquis Heloin had his veins bulging on his forehead and neck, his lips were pressed into a straight thin line and his jaw was clenched as his eyes stayed on Filzer's cocky face. "Shall we go in the garden? That seems to be the best place for such a conversation, after all the gardern has a lot of fresh air and cool breeze if ever your head is hot." Filzer laughed at his own words but waas cut off when Cain pushed him aside and Telph grabbed his arm and pulled him behind while faking a smile. "Please come with me. I will show you the way." Cain gestured to the crowd and led the way to the garden. Deep inside, Cain was excited to his bones because he had never been to the garden himself. Well, he had been there once to correct, but that was when the estate was still in ruins. Cain couldn't help but feel excited to see what modifications Filzer did. However, knowing the ancient Dragon he must have not cared too much about a little corner of the estate. However, contrary to Cain's thought, as soon as they arrived to a distace which the garden could be seen, he couldn't help but hold back his gasp. The garden was not of a king's but a god's. 'What do you expect? Did you really think I would leave this area in ruins just because it is not used?' Cain flinched when Filzer used telepathy to talk to him. Cain avoided Filzer's gaze and continued to lead the group to a shed. Upon arriving, only Marquis Heloin, Filzer, and Cain stepped into the shed while the others explored the garden in awe. "So, what do you plan to do, Marquis Heloin?" Filzer started the conversation after plopping down on the couch and making himself as relazed as he could be. Quite impudent of an act when someone of higher rank than him was sitting in front of him. But, of course, Filzer was of a higher existence than the Marquis, but the latter would never know that. "As you might have been informed, the cause of the disappearance of several people was because of a demonoid." The Marquis clenched his hands to stop it from trembling. Filzer noticed this and smirk inwardly. It might be because the Marquis was the one to look down on them first or because Filzer is just a stubborn ancient Dragon but he really doesn't want to lose to the man sitting in front of him, no matter what aspect it is. "Well, you don't really need to come here and for our help after all it's our obligation to keep the border in check." Filzer scratched the back of his head. His actions showed how troublesome he thinks of this issue is. "Well, since we are going to help, we should just hold the subjugation as early as we can so this matter won't become so much big of a deal-" "No. No matter how strong the people in the Stan family are we can't possibly defeat a demonoid just because you became part of the party. Please wait for my word. We should still prepare the necessary preparations to avoid any huge casualties." The Marquis cut Filzer off and stated his opinions. 'But we can?!' Filzer thought, irked that the Marquis was looking down too much on his family. But kept his mouth shut after seeing Cain's glare. FIlzer sighed and cooled his head, the cool garden breeze really does help in cooling one's head. "Alright, since you are the Lord of the city I shall obey your order." Although unwilling to surrender, Filzer had no choice but to raise the white flag this time. 'Haa. The things I do for this family.' Filzer shook his head.
