Cain eyes widened in awe and surprise. He did not expect something like this tp happen when he circulated the natural mana from the mana waves that the broken mana crystal was emitting. Cain had not expected anytihng grandiose to happen when he broke the extraordinary mana crysal, but he still made a gamble and broke it because of what he saw in the fountain. With the surroundings now lit up in a natural blue hue from blue torches floating in the underground's walls, Cain could now see clearly just what he had seen on the bottom of the fountain. Earlier when the torches still was not lit up, Cain noticed something at the bottom the seemingly luxurious fountain which made it look like it as so out of place because it was built underground. However, the existence of the fountain had a more meaningful purpose as to why it was built in that place and why was it built that way. The text that Cain saw was not the continental language that Filzer had forcibly engraved into his brain nor the Aether Kingdom's language, but a language that he had used back when he was still little snugging inot his mother's warm arms. It was the language of the world he came from. Cain was naturally confused as to why the language of another world was written in the bootom of some fountain in another world, not to mention that the fountain was located underground and was actually heavily guarded by Hell's Gatekeeper Cerberus. Cain could not help but be suspiscious of the things that he had found out. Which was why he was studying the fountain. He was trying to decipher the contents that was written in the language of his world with the minimal light he was given to. Fortunately, Cain was able to get the general idea of what the text was saying. 'The purest of mana is the gate, but also the key to that gate. Follow the flow and you must not get lost and drown in the world's life.' He did not understand what it meant at first, but looking back at the events that had happened without even giving him any rest it made sense to him. The way he fought Cerberus and found the mana crystal, it was when he took it did the ground beneath his feet collapsed, he had found the gate and that moment. And now when he found out that the mansion which now looked more like a small version of a god's castle was tightly guarded with a barrier, Cain figured that the key was the mana crystal. By breaking it he had received the purest natural mana he could ever get his hands on and using that mana while following the water flow of the fountain was the way of opening, no, breaking the barrier. 'The mana crystal really was the gate and the key.' Cain thought in disbelief. Although he was feeling bad because he did not get to use the mana crystal in a way that he wanted it was not like he could complain when he got himself a humongous and luxurious small castle like the one in front of him. Cain chuckled to himself before it turned into an evil laugh. His loud laugh echoed in the underground walls. He was happy. It felt more satisfrying than when he beheaded the King who killed his parents. In the very first place, the King did not deserve death. 'Well, it's not like I can revive and kill him again.' Cain scratch the back of his neck as he stood up from the ground. He was heading towards his newly found hideout. "A hideout that is exclusively for me. What a great feeling." Cain could not help himself to smile. the side of his lips twitched before it rose and turned his eyes into a crescent shape. Cain could not see himself right now, but if anyoe had seen his smile they would say that he looked quite similar to the old man of Stan, or maybe the ancient Dragon of the Void. Cain held the doorknob and opened it. Luckily the door opened without any problems. Cain sighed a sigh of relief, he was afraid that the ront door would need to be unlocked, but thankfully it was not. "It seemd that the only lock this mansion has is that barrier." Cain mumbled to himself and went inside. The light of the mansion automatically lit up after his feet had stepped inside. 'WHoa, engrand.' Cain thought and continued to walk inside. He had explored the small cstle like mansion. It was a total of six floors, the first was like a big reception hall along with some rooms that wou seem like the kind of place where a royal party was held. Cain could only smile at his new hideut's extravagance. Hewas feeling so good about it that he even had no qualms if this one event took a year of his luck or maybe even his entire life. Th second floor was filled with rooms and to Cain's surprise each room was filled with different kinds of weapons. However, the most of the rooms looked like bedchambers which weapons were sstored in. There was also a huge living room which a ton of musical instruments were found. Cain headed to the third floor and to his delight, the third floor was of smaller space than the second and the first floor, but it was currently the floor with most money which wa stacked in. The third floor was filled with artifacts, ancient artifacts to be exact. Although Cian had no idea of the history of this world so he would not know that, the ancient times of this kingdom was richer in magical artifacts and magic itself. Which made the whole third floor to be a treasure trove in disguise only for Cain. He did not know how much the artifacts were sought of and some were even artifacts that were written down in books as legendary ones. The fourth floor was just a huge open room that had no divider at all which was why it made Cain be able to see it faster, the mountains of gold coins and gold bars stacked from the corner of the room spreading faar and wide. "Not just gold but also gems and jewels?!" Cain reminded himself to take back his wish on not meeting Cerberus a third time. He really wanted to just bury himself under the pile of such riches but Cain was not that of a materialistic of a person that he could not ignore the sparkles of it. He proceeded to the fifth floor with ease. The fifth floor was just a normal floo filled with rooms designed luxuriously befitting of the castle-like mansion. Cain was actually glad that it was just a normal floor or else his heart would not be able to take it anymore. 'I might have run and tried to find a way to revive Cerberus if it was another unbelievable floor.' Cain shut his eyes and cleared his throat. His eyes were turnin red because of his own thoughts. Shaking it away, Cain proceeded to the sixth floor. He could not help but gasp at what he saw. If the fourth floor was just a single room floor, the sixth floor was exactly the same. Only that it was just a normal bedchamber. If he was to make comparison the bedchamber would equal to a person with a normal standing in society's house. The sixth floor had a kitchen of it's own and a bathroom, a living room and all the necessary rooms that a normal house would require. "Well, I guess I'm pretty lucky in this life time?" Cain stated and went to the balcony. However, he had to stop in his tracks after seeing what was outside. Four huge pillars and metal chains so big that he could not believe how someone had made such a thing was chaining down large mana crystal. Unlike the small mana crystal that he had broken, this crystal was filled with a dark and unknown energy. And somehow, Cain felt like he had felt that dark energy before.
