1030 Words
Cain had no idea that ssuch a small mana crystal can emit such bright colors. The small mana crystal in his hands were emitting thousands of bright colors that almost illuminated the surroundings. Cain looked around to see if there were monsters seeing the mana crystal. Even if the sun was rising and dawn was coming Cain could not be so unguarded about the precious glowing thing in his hands. It was still dark which meant that nocturnal monsters were still awak and were probably only going to sleep at his very moment. 'A mana crystal that is emittin such color woul ebe preyed upon by any monsters.' The mana crystal that Cain got through the gap was such a precious crystal. Just its color can justify its importance. An ordinary mana crystal only have at least one to three different colors. That is the case for one crystal and none had shone as brightly as the mana crystal nin Cain's have. This only meant that the small and fragile looking mana crystal that Cain had gotten in the gap was so precious that he should protect it even if his life was on the line. However, 'Even if it really is so precious, why would I protect something that I do not even kno what it does?' HOw could Cain protect something even with the expense of his own life if he does not know what the mana crystal does? Cain studied the mana crystal more closely and sighed. He rip a part of his clothes and wrapped the mana crystal with it. He was about to leave that place and move to a different direction when something made his surroundings darken. Looking behind, he saw that the massive rock formations was slowly collapsing and a huge c***k was in the middle from the left to the right. Cain's eyes became filled with disbelief as he looked at the tens of dozens of rock spikes ocming down at him. "Ah, this f*****g-" He did not manage to finish his sentence as the half of the massive rok formations had hit him. Such a thing coul not be avoided. Even if Cain was aware that the rock formations were already collapsing and was about to bury him to his dead by getting crushed by such pointed and sharp rocks. However, he seemed to have not usedd all of his luck just yet as before the half of the massive rock ormation could hit him in the face the ground beneath his feet started to c***k before crumbling, reducing the impact of which the rock formation had slapped his whole body. But no matter how much the impact was lessened the fact that Cain was still hit and almost crushed to his death could not be disregarded. It only took a matter of seconds before Cain fell unconscious. *** Waking up to his dark surroundings without even a single ray of light in sight, Cain groaned. His whole body hurt and even if that was the case he could dnott let his guard down. Using his other sense rather than his sense of sight, cain could smell the dirt coming from below him. However, other than that he could not smell anything anymore. Touching the ground around him, he found out that the dirt was not wet. Instead it was as dry as his throat. "s**t!" Cursing loudly, Cain rustled through his pants and breathe a sigh of relief after feeling that the mana crystal wrapped in a piece of his ripped clothe was still there. Unfolding the cloth from the mana crystal another sense of relief had waved in his whole being. The mana crystal was not broken. It was still intact. "This thing is sturdier than it looks." Cain whispered to himself as he checked if the mana crystal had any cracks. However, his small hads that were like a teenagers stopped fiddling on the mana crystal. In his peripheral vision, Cain could see a big mansion. Snappig his head in the direction of the mansion, Cain's eyes widened in shock and awe. He had to admit that he had never seen such a luxurious mansion before. The darkness had limited his vision up to the point of where the light from the mana crystal had allowed to illuminate. Cain stood up from the dry ground, ignoring the his body which was screaming in agony, and patted the dust from his clothes. Now that he reverted back into his teenager form the clothes which were supposed to be something adults should wear was incredibly loose on him. 'Come to think of it, this body was smaller than a normal teenager's. Is this Filzer's type of body for a teenage boy?' Cain thought curiously of the ancient Dragon's taste not knowing that his body would really be like this if he naturally grow up. 'Well, it is not like it is a problem. I'm still strong and it's convenient if I want to maximize my speed.' Cain shrugged his initail thoughts off as he held the small mana crystal up and walked around. He was using the light that the mana crystal was emitting as a torch to light up the surroundings. He decided to put off on looking at the mansion and to explore the surroundings first. As he went and walked around, he realized that the space in this underground abode was larger and wider than what he thought. After a few minutes of walking around, his eyes had stumbled upon a sound of water rushing through somewhere. Looking for the origin of the sound with delight writtenn all over his face, Cain's expression turned into its normal stoic expression after seeing that it was a fountain. 'It's not like I can just wash off and drink water from a fountain.' Cain frowned in disappointment as he watched the clear water gush out of the fountain beautifully before turning away. It was time for him to stop exploring what was outside and start looking at the inside. However, there was just one tiny problem. There was a barrier around the large and luxurious looking fortress of a mansion.
