"You know that I can't let you come with me. The Great Lands is dangerous. Someone like you who grew up in the Heloin city should know this fact very well-" "I know very well. But you and Cain always leave me saying that you'll go to a dangerous place." Telph cut Filzer off. He had a deep frown in his forehead as he spoke through his gritted teeth. Filzer could not help but stare at Telph's pained expression. "Do you remember what happened the last time you left me behind? Cain didn't come back! If this time, you don't comee back as well I!" Telph bit his lower lip and looked down. He avoided Filzer's gaze by doing so. He did not want the ancient Dragon to see the tears pooling in the sides of his eyes. However, Filzer could still see it through the gap of Telph's bangs. The two of them were covered in silence for a few seconds before Filzer sighed. "Alright. Go prepare to set out. We'll be leaving in five minutes." Filzer did not wait for Telph's response and turned around and walked away. Resolve was written all over his face as he walked down to the first floor of the mansion. He was heading to the hidden basement located at the kitchen. The basement contained nothing dangerous or secretive of the sort. However, Filzer was going to do something that not only Telph should not know, but anyone. After closing the hidden basement door behind him, Filzer quickly opened his dimensional space and the atmosphere from the Void seeped out ever so slightly. He entered his dimension and transformed into his real form. Filzer closed his eyes and within a second his senses shared the nothingness within the earth's surface. Filzer's power of nothingness or the Void did not let anything exist within its range. Nothingness exists nowhere and at the same time, it exists everywhere. He found the place where Alexander was currently in and to his surprise the latter was sitting on the ground, in front of him was a pool of blood. Filzer knew that particular spot all too well. The ground was cracked and he knew whose was the blood on the ground. The c***k on the ground was made by him when he tried to break the black orb, but only managed to leave a trace on the ground it stood on and not on the object itself. FIlzer's vision switched and the place he was sensing became a different place. He was trying to find Cain in the Great Lands, his sensed the place where he thought him his new skill and where he left him for the first time when they left his spacial dimension. However, no matter how much he looks and tries to find Cain he could not see a single shadow of him. Opening his eyes, Filzer reerted back to his human form and opened a door to the outside. Slamming the hidden basement door, Filzer stomped his way to the door. Telph was already standing there while waiting for him. "What's wrong?" Telph was surprised by the booming sound the hidden door made when Filzer slammed it close. "We need to hurry." Filzer only uttered those words before he grabbed Telph's arm and they levitated using his magic. Telph's eyes grew wide from being levitated for more than hundreds of meters above ground. This was the first time he experienced how to fly. Levitting themselves across the Great Lands made it easier to travel that they reached the demonoid's lair in less than ten minutes when it should take at least three days to travel by foot. Filzer carefully put down Telph to the ground while he immediately went to Alexander's side, more precisely, to the pool of blood in front of him. "Where is it?" Filzer did not even faced did not even face Alexander as he asked him a question. Instead, Filzer's eyes were focused on the pool of blood in front of him on the ground. His hands reached out to the blood and touched it ever so slightly. FIlzer knew in an instant that it was not just human blood. Ever sinc the ancient Dragon was casted to stay in the Demon World and become the demons' guardians by the Dragon Lord, he had not left his spacial dimension for even a second. He had interacted with the demons thrown to his dimension before killing them. He never liked demons to begin with so interacting with them was only for his information gatherig about demons and not for entertainment. That was why he couldn't ignore the fact that the pool of blood on the ground that he had touched had a mixed of demon blood in it. "It's Cain's blood" Filzer became certain that te blood was Cain's. Alexander who was beside him and was the first one to hear him say what he said had his eyes opened wide and his lips bitten by his teeth. If it was Cain's blood then does that mean that he was gone? Judging by the how much blood was spilt on the ground, Cain must have been having a hard time from losing so much blood. For sure that a person experiencing extreme dizziness and weak from an injury could not defend himself from any monster attack. Filzer saw Alexander's reaction and immediately tried to activate a skill he made when he was still experimenting on demons. The blood on the ground trembled before itshot up to the air. Filzer stared at the blood and studied it. The blood swirled like water in a round container before it formed a person. Filzer took a deep breath before sighing. He had a slight smile on his face as he did. He put a hand in Alexander's shoulder before saying: "Don't worry, he's alive." Alexander's eyes shut and his tensed muscles relaxed. telph who was standing behind them fell to his knees after hearing that the person who had saved him was alive. "Although, I am not sure if he is safe and sound."
