Rain pov

I knew i was laying on something really soft and comfortable, but it would had been more comfortable if all the beeping noises would had just went away, i felt something on my hand, when i tried to move my hand away it held onto it gently, i was nervous, really nervous, and I didnt know what to say or do, so i started opening my eyes, the lights were bright and i could tell i was in a hospital since the walls were a off white, I heard voices telling others to shut the blinds and turn down the lights to dim, once the lights were dim, I slowly opened my eyes to look around. my wolf Bayley was wagging her tail and i could had sworn she had a big grin on her face,

“Mate, our true mate is here.” mate, our mate is here. Did the moon goddess Selena really give us a second chance mate? when i fully opened my eyes, i realized what was making those annoying beeping noises, the heart monitor, i felt something in my arm, i started to jerk the iv out of my arm, but i was stopped,

“Please don’t do that, you're just waking up, let the nurse do that, so you won't have blood all over the place.’ That voice sounded so beautiful, the scent of pine and forest smelled so good, i looked over to see the man that own the voice, he had brown hair that he wore in a ponytail hazel green eyes, i wasn't sure how tall he was since he was sitting down in a chair beside my bed, The nurse and doctor came into the room, The Iv was first to be taken out, then the heart monitor, The doctor took my blood pressure and looked into my eyes to make sure my sight was doing alright. when he was done, he started speaking to the man beside my bed,

‘Alpha Chris i see nothing wrong with her going home with you today, I will need to take off the bandage that's around her neck to see how the stitches are doing,” i didn't realize that a bandage was around my neck until he had said something, i reached to touch it with my fingertips, the guy now i know as Alpha Chirs, took my hands from the bandage, i glared at him, he chuckled at me,

‘I am sorry, i just do not want you to be pulling on it, Doctor please take the bandage off so she wont jerk it off, i have a feeling if its on any longer she would do that before you got a chance,” Again i glared at him and both the doctor and nurse started laughing, he took the bandage off my neck and gasped, I had a look of worry on my face, i reached for my neck and no one stopped me this time, i was touching around it, i felt nothing, nothing was wrong with my neck,

“Bayley, did you do that?”

"Yes Rain, I did, I'm stronger now, and i'm able to heal you, Your face is slowly healing. It will take a few weeks but it will heal.”

“That doesn’t matter Bayley, you just keep getting stronger, Our mate will want us even if we didn’t have that scar on our face.”

“I know, I'm talking to Skull, his wolf, he's very sweet.” Once our talk was done, i tried talking, hopefully it won't come out as a squeak or something else, ‘

“My name is Rain, Alpha Chris, I'm sorry I was on your land, but I had no choice, I had to rest, until I got better.”

“That does not matter. I was just glad that we found you in time. Who would do this to you, and why would they do this to you?” Now i was really nervous, should i tell him who and why, what else could he do but to send me back there for him to finish me off, I decided i would tell him, What could he do if he tries to send me back, i would run and make sure no one would be ever to find me again.

“My ex-mate Reid did this to me, he doesn't like women being strong, But I was. I smarted off telling him no one wanted him as an alpha, that they voted and wanted his son to be. “i know of Alpha Jordon, He is a great alpha that protects his pack, including his friends and family, I will give him a call when we get home, I asked my Beta to bring some sweats for you to wear, that way you can be comfortable, are you ready to go home? I was thinking, Home? i do not have a home now. i am a rogue but when i figured out he meant his home. my heart started beating fast. He reached for my hands i felt the sparks going up my arms to my chest, so it is true, he is the one that will love me like no other, he is the one that i can trust, Jeesh moon goddess, this is going to be really hard, But I will try, the first sign he will hurt me i will run like a bat out of hell, and i won’t stop until i am out of this town, I tried getting out of bed so i could feel the floor under my feet, i felt like i was laying in this bed for months, When i got my feet planted to the floor, I took a step just incase i would fall flat on my face, He held his hand out so he could help me. I took it, we took one step at a time, until we got to the bathroom, my legs felt stronger, he opened the door for me,

“I am going to come in with you. but i will turn my head while you get dressed, if you need to, just lean on me so you will have support okay.” i didn't feel comfortable doing this at all, but a part of me wanted to trust him so much. He walked into the bathroom with me and like he promised he turned his back to me so he wouldn’t be able to see, I was still nervous but i wanted to change out of this hospital gown, I took off the gown placing it on the sink, i really didn’t want to look into the mirror at my face at the moment, i wanted to wait until i got the sweats on, I wanted to lean against the sink to put on the pants, but the dam’n sink was cold to the touch, So I took him up on his offer, i leaned against him to put on my pants. Then I hurried to put on my sweatshirt. I looked into the mirror and gasped my hair was a complete mess it was everywhere, i combed it down with my fingers, putting it up in a bun as much as i could, i was trying not to look like a mess, I saw the scar on my face, it wasn’t that bad, I touched it with my fingertips, i felt his dented claws on my face. this made me so angry, I felt someone holding hand, i looked over at my mate, i didn’t realize i was crying,

“I am sorry that he did this to you. But he will pay for this, are you ready baby?” i nodded we headed out, i signed the papers to be released then we got into his car, the pack house wasn’t that far at all, there were so many trees around hiding his land, but it was beautiful, when we got to his house, i saw it was white with blue trim around it, flower pots were hanging around the porch, there were tons of people around waiting to see who was in the car with their alpha, The car stopped then turned off, I wasn’t ready to get out of the car, but i knew i had to, i couldn’t sit in here for ever could i, He got out of the car first walking over to my side to open my door, he helped me out, his hand laid over my hip, he gently pulled me close to him,

“Guys, this is your new luna, but do not rush her right now okay, she needs rest, also you have four days to find dresses and suits, we are going to a mating ball over at alpha Jordons, i'm sorry i haven't told you sooner, but please be ready, its this Saturday, and you all know how these parties are, they last for three days, now go home or go shop, Your luna and i have some business to take care of okay, when she is ready, she would be happy to meet every single one of you I promise,” All i could do was smile at each one that pass right by me, a few held my hand to reassure me that i was welcomed here, he walked me inside, it was more beautiful inside, once we were upstairs he took out his phone and clicked on something,

“Hello Alpha Jordon, I have gotten your invitation to the party I and my luna with my pack will be joining, also, I know that Ried is after your pack, i will be bringing my best warriors as well, we will be leaving here in a few days, to get a hotel close to your pack land, See you soon,” he clicked off on the phone placing it down on the nightstand,

“i do not have any womens clothes in this room, but i do have shirts that you can wear if you like,” I watched him walk over to his dresser pulled out a dark Shirt handing it to me, he opened the bathroom door i went inside and put it on, it went down to my knees, did i mention this man is about 6,3 he's very tall, and very sexy as heck, but i wasn't in the moon to mate right now. maybe in a few days when i am stronger, i walked out of the bathroom, he was already in bed with a shirt off of him,

“Don’t worry, i have my boxers on, you don’t have to be scared of me i promise,” i nodded and got into bed, this bed was the most comfortable bed i have ever had, and i was very tired, i didn't know why, but i didn't want to sleep right now, but my eyes where telling me i needed to, i didn't know what i wanted to do until he pulled me close,

Its been a few days and the weekend is coming up faster then i thought it would, Lexus and I have been getting to know each other, we where outside right now with the rest of the ground, we have been training for an hour now, i think i have surprised him, with the training i have been doing, i been training with my father alot lately, but today he wanted me to train with the group just to see what i have learned, i was sparring with Nicole, shes one of the top warriors and she knows how to kick a$$ she has trained me as well, so i knew what she was going to do before anyone else did, I was blocking each move and kick, she told me to start hiting and kicking back so i did, each kick she did, i did back, she then told me to do my own kick, i told her i only knew what she and my dad had taught me, she told me to add them together then do it i thought about it for a second because a second i only had, so i blocked her kick and punch, flipped over her kicked her in the back then did a roundhouse kick with a little twist to it,she went flying back hard. that Polly had to catch her, they both went down hard and laughing about it, I thought i did something wrong, but I didn’t, they walked up as everyone else was clapping,.

“I don't know what kind of kick that was, but how about we name it, let's call it the twisted roundhouse kick, since you made me twist and fly backwards, I wish I would have seen it coming so I knew how you did it, do you think you can do it again? Hey Bobby get over here,” Bobby one of the top guards came over to me, and stood right in front of me,

“Alright, so let's just say, Bobby here is coming to attack you, he already punched you a few times and kicked you, what do you do next?” this was my chance to show then what i actually learned, my father and the others have showed me so much, but i had learned my own defense, putting combos together, and it could be fun, so i was listening to Polly carefully, and then I did it, i backed up a few steps, ran, flipped, kicked him right in the middle of his back, Then I gave him a roundhouse kick twisting my foot just a little to make him twist while he flew back, He flew back and one of the other guards had to catch him they both went down laughing,

“Oh shi+ girl that hurt like a mother fuc*ker, Do you think you can teach others to do what you just did?”

“I think so, But Polly, aren't you the trainer here?”

“I am, but you can also be a trainer Alyssa, you can teach us the things you know, and make up just like you just did,” i was a little bit excited about showing the others what i can do and what they can learn, My Wolf Riot was excited for me, she told me that when we go to Lexus pack we could show them as well, i was excited about that too. Once training was done and over with, I went inside to take a shower, Lexus said he had a surprise for me, so i wanted to hurry and shower, i dried off and got dressed, i put on a button up light blue shirt and and ripped jeans, i put my sandals on, i was tired of wearing tennis shoes, i dont like wearing shoes at all. but my father made me wear sandals, and i have plenty of those. I fixed my hair letting it lay over my shoulders, brushed my teeth put on a little body spray, and i was done, i was walking out of my room when Lexus came out of his, he smiled when he saw me,

“Come on little mate, i have a surprise for you,” Once we got down stairs he lead me outside to my favorite fishing spot, i saw a couple of fishing poles with bait, I saw two chairs where we could sit down and fish, i was excited, i love to fish, he handed me mine and i put the shrimp on the hook, he did the same with his, i threw the line out into the water, then sat down to wait for the fish to take the bait,

“I was hoping you would like to relax, I do this from time to time to get my thoughts out, I have a fishing pond in the back of my pack house, once you get settled in we will go fishing,"

After he said after I got settled. I knew I would be leaving my parents faster than I thought I would. But I had conditions and I won't settle for anything less. So I put my pole down because nothing was biting right now. Then I asked him to listen to me.

"Listen Lexus, I know we are mates. But I planned to travel before I go to college, and I do plan to go. I have it all set. For me, I have tickets for my first trip to Paris. I already know what food I plan to eat. And the hotels. Once I'm done I'm going to college to be anything I want to be. I might even become a lawyer. Who knows. Once I'm done there. I plan to buy a building and start my own business. So I can have my own money, I have a lot that I planned. So if you want to come with me your more than welcome to. Unless you want to stay and wait for me to come back." I could tell he was thinking about what I had said.

"Alyssa. I had planned on going with you to travel the world, my mother will be tending the pack until we arrive back home. I already got everything settled. Also I own a college. But you will still have to study hard. Just because you're my mate does not mean they will let you graduate without studying. And for buying a building. You can buy one from me. But you will have to hire the lawyers yourself and pay them. You will have to get the things you need. You're a very smart lady Alyssa. I know you will figure everything out in the end, I had to agree, I knew what I wanted in my office. I couldn't wait to start college, but first we needed to get rid if the danger that's ahead of us,
