Nadine Pov As I sat on the porch, the hot coffee in my hand warmed me. But the cold sweat running down my back only made me shiver. I still remember that day like it was yesterday. It was my 10th birthday, a day that should have been filled with joy and laughter but instead turned into a nightmare.
