Nadine POV The sun shone brightly through the windows, casting a warm glow across the old wooden floorboards of my childhood home. I took a deep breath, savoring the familiar scent of lavender and vanilla that always seemed to linger in the air. As I sat on the front porch, sipping my coffee and gazing out at the overgrown garden, a thought suddenly struck me: my parents' bedroom.
