A curse that's been passed down to six generations. If I continued to stay by his side, it was only a matter of time before he ends up forgeting me completely. When the mage granted the she wolf's wish, he chose to keep all memories they shared together until the end despite how painful it would be. Mother went through the same experience. I didn't push her into telling me who the person was. The pain in her voice had been enough to stab my heart with the reality of the situation. It's something that can't be avoided. The flight took longer than I had expected. But after so long, the plane finally lands on solid ground. I've yet to experience any signs of jet lag. I heard it's a common occurence when after traveling to a different country. The ring of the intercome reverbs through the wall, announcing the number of the next departing plane. I look around my surrounding, simultaneously dragging my hair up to tie it into a messy pony tail. Mom and dad should be outside by now waiting for me. They did say they'd be here an hour before my plane lands. Let's just pray they live up to their words. I don't think I'll be able to stand for an hour outside without wanting to fall. I'm really, really exhausted right now. I wasn't able to get some proper rest throughout the whole flight. Too many thoughts were rushing through my mind of where my life's heading now that I'm here. I plan to finish senior highschool and study hard once I enter college. I'll go wherever the wind takes me after that. Go with the flow. After claiming the rest of my suitcases, I finally saunter towards the exit of the airport. The automated doors open upon my presence, hearing a familiar female voice call out my name not long after my appearance. Turning to my left, I catch the faces of my parents smiling from the other side. Smiles break from my face for the first time since I left. Father's standing beside mother with the most proudest look displayed. "Honey!" Mother yells with an identical smile in her face, pointing to the other side. "Let's meet over there." I nod my head and quickly follow suit. It's been so long since I've last seen them. Mother's as beautiful as she was before and father's become even more handsome. They've still managed to look so young despite the years that's passed. I was finally free from the passenger's arrival lane. "Honey, you're finally here!" Mother's arms find me into a warm embrace, followed by father hugging the both of us. This familiar warmth I've I've for a long time. I'm finally feeling it again. "My baby's finally here." "I missed you." "Oh baby. We missed you too." Her warm fingers find both sides of my face. "There's never been a day that's passed when I didn't think of you. Now stop crying mhh? You're home now." Home. With my family. "You've gotten taller than the last time I've seen you." Father playfully sets up an imaginery measuring height, erupting a giggle from me. It's just like the old times. "It's all thank to those diet schedules you sent me dad. " It's nice to be back home with them. Mother's face shifts with a look of disappointment as she turns to give father her undivided attention. "Darling, don't tell me you restricted our daughter from having a decent meal?" Chuckling, father takes the two suitcases from my hand and sends mother a wink as he plants a kiss on the top of my head. I lean into him naturally. Similar to how I always did when I was a kid. "There's a difference between restricting food and engaging in a healthy diet plan. It's great to finally have you back, honey. Now let's get going. I left the boys all fast asleep in the car and there's no saying what they might do if they wake up." Oh right. The boys. I almost forgot about them. Mother notices my anxiousness and gently takes my arm around her, rubbing soothingly. "Nervous?" "It's.....it's just been so long." I bite my lip, hesitating for a while before sighing. "What if they don't like me." Her light laughter causes me to look up at her. "They won't hate you. You don't know how much I've had to deal with them constantly looking for you. Especially Clever. What I'm trying to say is that you'll be fine, honey. The boys will love you just as much as you love them." I hope she's right. - Meanwhile back at the Parker's estate. It was getting dark and Abel felt like running to release the tension that's been piled up in his veins. Loona turns to him with a worried look, unable to approach him. Ever since she left, it was like a whole new person had taken wheel into Abel's being. They were all aware it had something to do with Abel's wolf. For sure, it despised the idea of their mate leaving. Only worse when Abel had done nothing to stop her. So it's an inner fight between a wolf and it's human. He reaches the forest and closes his eyes, feeling his bones morph slowly under the silver rays of the glowing full moon. Soon, a large white wolf emerges from the body of the human, landing on all fours. Abel's wolf flutters his fur before setting on his hind legs, taking off. Pictures of his mate flashes up in his mind as he soars deep within the forest, seconds before a lonely howl echoes the foundation of the forest. Loona had been standing by the window all this time, worriedly gazing at the forest set up on the mountain.  She's worried about Abel's being. It may not seems like it on the outside, but she knows he's having a hard time keeping his wolf at bay. Her chest rises as she releases a weary breath, shaking her head in dejection. "This is only the beginning."
