I wake up to my alarm but for the first time in a very long time I'm actually not bothered by it, I just smile remembering those memories that happened a few hours ago and no, it hadn't been a dream...

I start getting dressed and head to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast where I find my mom and my brother already there and I guess the noticed something about me was off:

"Someone's happy, had a good night sleep?"

I nod

"Why the hell are you smiling?" my brother asks and to be honest if he hadn't pointed it out I wouldn't even had realized. I also get why he sounds so confused, you see, I'm not a morning person and most of the time if someone talks to me very early in the morning I just look at them like if I were going to kill them.

After that I grabbed my bag and my keys and left my apartment where Violet was waiting for me

"May I ask why the f**k are you literally glowing with joy right now?"

"Later, I don't want you to spoil my moment"

"Okay weirdo"

We get to the school but don't find Abby waiting for us near the place we park our bikes, guess she got here early, but that only happens every ten million years, she is not famous for arriving somewhere in time. Even though its spring today the morning was really cold so I went inside and in the main hallway was Damien that looked like he was waiting for someone. When he noticed I was heading for my locker he followed we while he said hello.

"Good morning little one"

"You never learn do you?"

"Nope"

I laugh as I face to the main door, s**t. Violet had seen us and was approaching towards us in high speed, I just hope she would act decent.

"Abby is outside, she arrived late as always. Excuse me who the hell are you?"

Great, I was going to kill her. Before he could answer I said

"Violet why don't you go get Abby and I'll tell you then okay?"

"But.."

"But nothing, go"

I at least had to warn him of how she was because things were not going to end well.

"Right, so before I officially introduce you to Violet you have to know that she will act as cold as she can but that's because she still doesn't trust you, but she'll warm up to you"

"Okay, just hope I don't blow it"

I lead him towards were Abby and Violet were waiting for us, this is the first time I actually introduced them to a boy so I really have no idea of how they were going to take it so I think  I should start praying...

"There, here is Abby, would you mind telling me who are you?"

"Violet calm down" Abby said, well at least one wasn't taking it so badly

"My name is Damien, I'm new at this school"

"Yeah I know you're new, I mean how did you meat her??"

I was about to kill her

"Oh, our spanish teacher assigned her to teach me and since then we started getting along"

"You're the guy that gave her that pice of paper right?"

Great, both aren't taking it really well.

He smiled and looked at me while I started blushing and wishing I was dead

"Yeah, that was me"

"Well I'm going to the bathroom... Continue with your not at all awkward conversation" I say as I walk as fast as I can, god I'll have to plan more the next time I introduce someone to them. But instead of going to the bathroom I stay somewhere close to hear what they say

"Listen to me f**k boy, I don't know who do you think you are but if I ever find out that you hurt her in any single way I will hunt you down and I'll kill you with my bear hands, is that clear?"

"Yes ma'am." he said in a sarcastic tone, s**t 

 "Oh and also I'm not a f**k boy, just thought you needed to know"

Violet left leaving Abby and Damien alone

"Aren't you going to threaten me in any way?"

"No, I don't think I will. But I will tell you this, I don't know what your intentions are but just don't hurt her feelings, she's my best friend, not that it means anything to you but she's so vulnerable in this area. She still has childish illusions and doesn't know absolutely anything about dating and just seeing her make herself vague illusions is not something I want to se, you see how happy and excited she gets just to realize that it was all bullshit. That's all I ask"

"I know my word doesn't mean a lot to you right now but I swear over my brother that I don't mean any harm"

"Very well, now if you excuse me I'm going to look for both of them before they kill each other"

Well... It could've been worse... but am I really so vulnerable?...yeah...it makes sense.

I final find them in the bathroom waiting for me

"So... what do you think about him?" I start praying 

"I don't know, I'm not convinced but I'll admit that he is hot"

"He looks nice but I still need to get to know him better"

"I know and you will, trust me you guys, he's really nice"

We head towards our classroom, we had math class, great. We were one week away from the exams and I didn't understand some things but hell after this class I started actually panicking. I didn't understand s**t and I couldn't afford to fail this exam, we were two years from going to college. I looked for help but my friends were as lost as I was, great, I start getting a panic attack and I think Damien noticed because he leaned towards my table.

"Hey are you okay? You look nervous"

"Hell I'm not okay, I don't understand s**t of what the teacher just taught us, the exams are in a week and I would really like to get in the college I want"

"Okay okay, calm down, your friend here Damien believe it or not is a total genius in math and to return you the favor of you teaching me spanish I will help you with math okay?"

"Damien this isn't funny"

"Who said it was? I'm serious, come on trust me"

"Fine but you better be a f*****g genius if not I'll kill you"

"Promise" he said as he smirked 

Literature was next, god I wasn't looking forward to find out how Violet and Profesor Brown where going to act but I had no choice. Nothing really relevant happened in literature except the constant s****l tension between Violet and Profesor Brown plus she stayed a bit longer to ask god knows what to the teacher. After school I wanted to talk to Abby and ask her if she wanted to hang out but before I even had a chance she had already left, that girl was acting weird, she barely spoke to me or to Violet, she was hiding something but I still don't know what...
