I keep an eye on Samika as she is driving behind me. The entire way to the pack house, the nurse didn't say a word. I can feel the emotion of fear thick in the air and I don't question it. For a human, whatever she witnessed might have been no less than horror.
"Do you think she is going to be okay?" I ask her right when I take the turn into the woods and towards The Blood Rose Pack.
"I don't know. It is a very rare possibility," she tells me and I nod. I guess we can work on it.
