Alien is My Second Mate

"Mama! Papa! Dada! Miss you!!" Dael shouted while running to us. His two years and seven months old already and he could talk just fine. He is the son of Drea.

When we got here, she found her mate, not just one but two mates. She was angry at first because she thought her mate got another one and didn’t wait for her. She first saw Vince, he's a werewolf too. He became strong because of his other mate. Vince didn't have a bite but there was a tattoo to prove that his mated.

Drea was ready to start a fight at that time, even Vince couldn't stop her. But, thank God, the other mate came and hugged Drea that made her calm down. Minutes later, they vanished in thin air.

We looked for her, and that time, it was Drew time to freak out. He got carried away with his emotion because it's his twin who was missing. That's where Sofia Logan came in, a vampire mate of Drew, she calmed him down.

Elder Crain came and tell us what was happening. The other guy was Cato McRight, his adopted son. They knew him being an elemental user or an Elementalist. But the truth, he's an alien.

At first, I thought it was just a joke, but it was true. He has the power to control the air, he has strength and speed, and also he’s wounds heal fast. He went here to survive. If he was not mated at the age of 22, he will die.

He took Drea for mating.

The first time they saw their mate they required to mates with them or there will be complications in mating. After a day of mating through a bite and physical mating, they all fell asleep in a month. But Drea's stomach was growing.

After they woke up, one month later Dael was delivered into this world. The baby grew so fast even in the werewolf because of Cato's genes.

All of us were in one team: Cato, Drea, Drew, Vince, Sofia, and I. 

This time, we just got home from our mission. We rescued the other supernatural that was in the custody of hunters. Thanks to the Moon Goddess because we successfully made it. 

Oh, before I forget. Sofia, Cato, and Vince were the people who helped me the time I ran away, 3 years ago.

"Mom! Dad!" I was back to reality because of Alessandra Garcia's loud voice, Drew and Sofia's daughter.

While me? I hadn't found my second mate yet. But, I was still waiting for her/him to come. So that, in every mating season of our kind, I was in a cage or tied up by Elder Crain. I didn't want just anyone to take the precious thing that I can give to my mate.

"Hi, guys. You are all back." Elder Crain greeted us. We've been gone for two weeks. "Congrats for a job well done." He congratulated us and he turned to me. "You become stronger as time pass by, Cassy. I'm sure Elder Marcos is so proud of you."

"Of course, I am proud of my child." I was surprised he came to our building. I forget that last week was my 20th birthday but I was not present because of the mission. "And happy birthday, my child." He came to me and he hugged me.

I was surprised to see my cousin came too, Marissa Knight. "Happy birthday, Cassy." She greeted me and then she kissed me on the cheek, also with a hug.

"Thank you," I said. I saw they prepared something for me, a small feast for us to enjoy. I was not a sociable person, so, the family I knew was always the one with me on every special life event.

I was still wearing my disguise, reading glass, and a hooded shirt. But when I'm in training, I used proper clothing for it. I have a different room for my training, so it was easy for me to take off my disguise.

They greeted me for my birthday. We celebrated a little and after that, we went to our separate room. We wanted to take a rest because we were all worn out.

I took a long shower. It took me an hour because the water was so cool and relaxing for my aching muscles. After, I lay down on my bed. My eyes landed on my nightstand where books and a laptop on top of the table were placed.

They taught us about different kinds of supernatural and hunter. Their strength and weakness, weapons to use to kill them because not only the hunters were the enemies but rogues too and I already knew how to use the different weapon my mama stored for me.

I got the twin swords, some dagger, and a small gun. They just gave me a bullet. The swords and dagger were made up of some stone or metal that is unknown to mankind. Cato knew what stone it is but didn't want to tell us. This stone or metal could kill anyone. I also used my mama's black outfit I got in her closet when I'm on a mission.

We enhanced our strength, hearing, and speed. We studied how to tend the wounds in case of an emergency. How to survive being by yourself in different places without food and water. They trained us on how to fight to survive, different strategies and techniques, and many more.

But a thing that caught my eyesight, my mama's diary.

Yes, the book that I took from mama's thing was her diary. I only read it when I had the time and I finished it already.

My mom.

Yes! I had two mothers. It was not new on werewolves but some were still against it. Just like the one who killed my mom, her sibling. That was what my mama's said in her diary.

Her name is TAYLOR REYNOLDS.

My mom was supposedly an Elder. But her brother committed a crime that made my grandfather, his father, to betray the other elders. The brother killed my grandfather on my mama's side and his father covered it up.

At first, they thought it was the hunters or rogue doing. But someone helped them to arrest the real killer. Mama didn't mention anything about it, but she said that the stone that she used in her weapon came from that person.

Mom's father didn't say anything about the crime even he knew everything. When the other Elders knew about it, they wanted to kill them too--all the Reynolds' family.

But my mama opposed the verdict for my mom because she didn't know anything about the crime. So instead, they decided to strip my grandfather's title, not just that, but to his entire family lineage. Mom didn't have a problem with that.

Mama and mom had a secret relationship. They saw each other secretly.

They built a small cabin in the woods as their home. They mated and asked the goddess to give them a child because it was possible for two female werewolves to conceive a child. After mated for two months, mama got pregnant.

At first, they thought that mom will carry the baby because she's submissive to both of them, but that's what happens. Mom always went home to where her brother residing, for him not to suspect her whereabout.

Her father, my grandfather died because he couldn't take the shame. So, her brother was the one who became the leader of their pack even they were not blood-related, most important was his still the son of the elder and he's strong.

But one day, her brother saw mom escaping. He knew some information like she was already mated but didn't know with whom.

He looked for a guy to follow mom and he told him everything he saw. That night, they attacked the cabin. But there was someone who told mom about the sudden attack but it was already too late.

I was already a month pregnant at that time, so she told me to run away first and she will follow. I didn’t want to leave her, but I had to for our unborn child. I knew she's weak when it comes to combat and weapon, but she insisted to stay behind. She gonna be the bait for them to follow, and for me to escape safely So, I ran, just like what she wanted. I was not yet that far when I heard her scream like she's hurting. I used my invisible cloak. I was so stupid at that time, why I forgot that important thing. The cloak was given by a friend of mine. It will hide not just your appearance but also your scent. I climbed the nearest tree and jumped on every branch of the tree as silent as possible. My stomach was already big but I could still manage to do it. I and my child need her other mother, so we had to rescue her. Then I saw them. They're too many and there's also a wizard. At first, I didn't know what they were going to do. But the wizard holding a goblet and a knife, and I think I know what they're planning. They were going to take Taylor's blood, and with the helped of some ritual, the powers that are on the blood will be pass to the person who drinks it. I wanted to kill them all but they were so many for me to handle. I searched for a way to save my mate. But in a snap of a finger, he killed my mate. I couldn't do a thing. I wanted to kill them all, like living my sanity behind and kill them all like a monster. But I couldn't do that for the sake of my unborn child. Just like what I thought, they got some blood on Taylor and they start to look for me. He also commanded them to kill us. The only reason he gave to them was that our relationship is forbidden the same with our child, but I knew that’s not the real reason, it's the power. I knew, my unborn child will be so powerful because the blood flowing on her veins contained the two most powerful Elder's bloodlines. I knew he had an evil plan and my child will be a great hindrance for him to achieve it. So I will do everything for my child to be born. When they were already far searching for me after they put my wife on the cabin and burned it. I got out of where I was hiding. I let myself cry. I cried for too much pain. I was in pain! And will always be.

That's what my mama said in her diary. They sacrificed their lives for me to live... and that's my deepest debt to them.

I never noticed that I fell asleep thinking about my parents. Until Drea was waking me up because we had another mission.

I did my usual routine in the morning. After that, I went to Elder Crain's office like what they said. They were all already there when I arrived. But I noticed something was not right. They were tense to something I didn't know what.

"Good that you're already here." Elder Crain said and then he paused, he liked thinking for the right word to say. "We received a report, that they caught a hunter. It's unusual like the hunter we knew and they didn't tell me what it is. They tried to force her/him to speak, but they never gathered any information. They received a threat for so long, and they already have missing members. So, I decided that I need all of you to go there and confirm this report and investigate about the hunter."

"What pack, Elder Crain?" I asked with no emotion showing. This is who I am now.

"Brook Town. DARK MOON PACK."
