Axel POV

We have been sitting here for hours and have no clue what is happening, and it's driving me and Blaze insane.

We have been pacing, sitting, pacing, sitting, growling, and more pacing.

The rooms are sound proof so I can't hear a damn thing either 'go to mate now' Blaze growled and it just pissed me off more "do you f*****g think for a second that I don't want to. They are helping her, " I growled back."we can help her, " he replied as pissed off as me "if we go in.. you know as well as I do we won't want anyone to touch her" I know we wouldn't and she needs that help at the minute 'I want mate' he growled again "I want mate too but we can't yet so stop it" I growled back. He started fighting for control, but I won't let that happen. She was dying, and we couldn't do anything to help her, she is in the right place. I'm now growling and fighting to keep control. I won't risk her.

"ALPHA," I hear Shane shout me. Pulling us from our internal fight and debate about going to see our mate. I turn, and they are all staring at me.

I turned to look, and they're all staring at me, and no wonder why, to be honest, I looked like a crazy person. I'm having a conversation with myself, but obviously, I still have to try and keep him at Bay until I know it's safe to go through.

I walked back to Shane, and he sat with Paula. I sit down on the chair beside him and he is looking at me with worry "everything will be fine, I'm sure the Luna will be OK" he says but I'm at my breaking point but before I can reply the door opens, the Dr comes out. I get up as fast as I can "Alpha" he bared his neck to me.

But all I want to know is if she is ok. "Can you follow me, please? Alpha Jim, Luna Kim, could you also come, please? " he asked. We all nodded yes, and to be honest, I just couldn't wait to see her, but as I went to walk to her door, the Dr walked to an opposite room. He coughed to get my attention. "We need to go to my office, Alpha," he said, but I growled. Why is he trying to keep us from our mate. The growl filled the room and he started shaking with fear "please Alpha there's things I need to tell you before we take you to your mate" he has his head down afraid of my reaction but instead we follow. It must be important.

I'm not one that loses my temper easily, I'm normally level-headed, but seeing my beautiful mate in that state broke all my reasoning.

'Shane, watch your Lunas door. No one goes in unless they originally came out of there.' I link him, and I see him stand up out the corner of my eye 'yes Alpha'. Shane is my best friend, my brother, but he takes his role as Beta seriously.

I know I can trust my mate with him.

The Dr, Jim, and Kim are all sitting down in chairs, but I can't, I can't seem to stay still.

"There's a few things that I need to update you all on," he said, but I still can't sit.

"Ok, we are all ears," Jim says as a true Alpha.

"Thankyou Alpha, I'm afraid it's not great..before we start do we know who she is or even a name" he asks and Kim answers "we are not sure who she is or where she is from but her name is Gina" he nods ok and starts talking again. "we have stabilised Gina. She is in a medical induced coma. We have had to put her on a ventilator, and we will keep her under surveillance. Keep checking her temp and lung function, etc. " ok that is bad, but I wouldn't say grimm.

"Ok Thankyou Dr, could Alpha Axel go visit his mate now" Jim asks but the Dr frowns slightly "I'm sorry Alpha but even though that news isn't great, that wasn't what I needed to speak to you about exactly" the Dr said and I'm confused "what is it" I'm fuming that the time he's taking is taking me away from her.

"We have given her a full work up. The x-rays have shown old fractures. She has old and new bruises covering her body. The newest bruises mostly to her face and torso." The whole time he's talking, I'm growling quietly. How can someone treat her this way. "Sorry Alpha, shall I carry on" he asks "WHAT THERE'S MORE" and I can't calm my temper "yes unfortunately there is" "FINE" I growl "my apologies Alpha, along with the bruises she has an infection to a cut on her head. It looks like it was done atleast a week or so ago, we have cleaned it all we managed to get all the shards of glass out and have it cleaned and applied antibiotic ointment and covered her wound with a bandage.

Her torso has taken a severe beating. She has 7 broken ribs, a punctured lung, and a chest tube that has had to be placed. She is also severely dehydrated and is practically starved" me punching a hole in the door stops him from reading from the chart. It's so much more worse than I thought. How can anyone be treated in such a way.

I smash the door up, and I can't keep mine and Blazes temper tucked away. I can feel the ich of fur coming out of my skin.
