Axel POV

"Alpha Axel," said Jim, and I know he is keeping his wolf back. I see he is stood in front of his mate, protecting her.

I can't seem to calm down enough to stop growling and slowly shifting.

"Alpha Axel, there is 1 more thing then I'll take you to see her." I heard the Dr, but what else could it be.

I'm fuming, and I can't seem to calm down.

I look around at everyone, and what catches my eye is the young girl hiding behind Paula and peeking around her legs with big, fearful eyes. Paula was stood, but Shane stood in front of her.

I know he doesn't mean anything by it. It's a mate thing.

I can't stop looking at the girls eyes, and I take deep breaths, I've never been one to scare anyone, especially a pup.

By the time she hides back behind Paula, I've calmed enough to stop shifting. I look at the Dr and nod ok to finish.

He gulped slightly and took a deep breath. "The bloods we took from Gina show she has been given some kind of magical potion. It seems it has been locking away her wolf. Now this is a guess, and we would need a consult from a witch. I'm guessing that is why her wolf can't heal her, " and I slump in the chair. How much more can she have been through.

"Ok, so what do we do?" I ask, hoping he has some way of helping her. "The potion is not as strong as it once was maybe because she has turned 18 but we need to keep an eye on her" he replied "would you like to see her" he asked standing and my whole being was happy.

"Remember, she has a breathing tube, chest tube, a bandaged head and looks banged up," and I know all that. I just want to see her.

I follow the Dr, and I start to get nervous.

He opens the door and laid on the bed. Gina looks so small, surrounded by noisy machines. Her now clean face is all bruised, and I want to hold her hand, I'm not going too close in case I hurt her or knock the machines off.

She is beautiful, even with the bruises she is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.

Now she has been cleaned up. I can no longer smell blood, and her scent is a little stronger.

I take in lungs full of air just to smell her. I could get lost in citrus and vanilla.

"You can get closer, Alpha," a nurse said. She was an older woman with greying hair and kind eyes. She was checking her machines and writing down on her chart.

"I don't want to hurt her" is all I can say "it's ok you won't hurt her Alpha" she says pulling over a chair, places it next to bed and taps it for me to sit down. She is like a nanna, taking care of everyone, and I bet she wouldn't think twice to put anyone in their place, too. I smile and take a seat. "Ok, so let me move this a little and this." she was talking more to herself now while moving wires and pushing the heart monitor back a little. She picked up Ginas hand gently, she took my hand and laid it palm facing up, and placed Ginas' small, soft hand in mine. I could feel slight tingles that only mates feel, and I loved it.

I can't wait for that potion s**t to f**k off so she is free and will get her wolf.

It is strange why anyone would give her anything to keep her wolf locked away, our wolves are the other half of us.

I need to find out where she is from because whatever pack she is from who willingly had her wolf kept from her will be answering to me.

'Alpha' Shane linked as I'm sat in the room alone. I look at the clock and realise I've been in here for just over 3hours "yes Shane" I replied 'Alpha can I bring Alia in to see Luna Gina please' I stay silent and he carried on talking 'I'm not sure if they are sisters or what but Alia has been begging to come in. That's all she says' he's worried and I understand why 'yes bring her in' and I cut the link.

A knock on the door before it opens. The young girl comes in holding Paulas hand. Paula bares her neck "Alpha" "how are you now Paula" I feel shitty that I hadn't even asked her or Shane. I've been so worried about my mate that everything else has gone out the window.

"I'm doing great now, Thankyou" she replied as Shane walked in.

Alia walks to the other side of the bed, tears streaming down her face she places her hand on top of Ginas "hi Gina, I'm here, I'm ok. Please wake up... you promised that we would be together" and she starts crying. She must mean a lot to my mate, I'm thinking maybe family or from the same pack because they are in similar states. "Is Gina your family" I ask but she shakes her head no "can you tell me where your both from" I ask and she pales more than she is already "please I don't want to go back there. Please. Please" she is visibly shaking, panicking "we would nev" but I'm cut off as she passes out "ALIA" Paula shouts as she catches her.
