Alia

Third person POV

Gina was sitting on the bed waiting for Alia, Paula had gone to get her. She wanted to see her before they went to the office to speak with Alpha Jim and to meet Nate. Axel has explained everything to Gina of what he has learnt while she had been unconscious.

She was very shocked about having a protector, a guardian because she was Queen. She has gone from being a lonely abused girl to a werewolf queen with a mate, friends, and a protector.

She started to get a little flustered with all the information, but she talked it through with Dakote, who calmed her down.

The door opened and Paula walked in with Alia behind her, she was nervous but as she peeked around Paula and spotted Gina sat looking in their direction, she ran as fast as her legs would take her.

Alia has waited so long to see her awake, and now she is Alia threw herself at her. Relieved that she is ok. Alia knew now that Gina was awake and that she wouldn't be able to hide who she was anymore. She has been so scared to be in an unfamiliar pack, knowing no-one here she stayed in the clinic either in her bed or sat with Gina. She didn't really speak with anyone too as she was too scared she would say the wrong thing.

She was a Rogue, and even though she is young, packs frowned upon Rogues and would never invite one onto the territory. Some packs killed Rogues for no reason, even pups, so all sane Rogues steered clear of them at all costs.

Gina caught her, hugging her, and both were crying. Gina moved back and cupped Alias face. " Are you ok?" Gina asked, checking her over as Alia nodded yes.

"I'm so happy you're ok and didn't leave me" Alia was now crying "I'd never leave you, you're my family" Gina smiles "I can come with you" Alia whispered not daring to look around she knew now was the time they found out. She could be dragged out of here or even killed. "Why wouldn't you?" Gina asks confused "because I'm a Rogue," she whispered even quieter, but the whole room heard her. Gina had no idea what that meant but didn't care what it was "wait didn't you grow up together, are you not sisters" Axel asked because everyone assumed with the state they were both in and they joined the other girls together, they were sisters and because Alia hasn't really spoken to anyone because she has been scared they had no idea.

"No, we arrived at that horrid place at the same time," Gina explained while hugging Alia.

"You're a rogue" Shane asked Alia causing her to flinch "what is a rogue, I don't understand what the problem is" Gina frowned, getting irritated "Rogues are wolves without a pack, most kill without reason or remorse. We assumed tha-" Shane says, but he is pissing Gina off every time his voice rises he's scaring Alia. The growl emanating from Gina stops him mid rant, the growl is enough to shake the walls, powerful and commanding.

"You will lower your voice, you're scaring her." Gina and Dakote voice merged as one, making Shane bow down on one knee. They both felt very protective towards Alia because they knew she needed them but also because Gina knew how she was treated by just looking at her.

"I'm sorry, my highness," he says, baring his neck. Alia peers up at Gina, confused, and as she took a quick glance around the room, it was only Axel who wasn't affected.

"I don't care what you all think or say Alia is my family, we might not have known each other long but that makes no difference on my feelings" she was fuming at this point because she knew Alia was a sweet and loving girl that hasn't done anything to anyone. She stood Alia up in front of her, essentially ignoring everyone else around them.

"I won't let anyone hurt you, EVER again." Gina was struggling to hold her anger in 'it's because we are one now and all emotions are doubled. We will learn to handle it together, "Dakote said while Gina closed her eyes and took deep breaths.

"We would never hurt her. We just didn't realise," Axel explained, shocked that she would think of such a thing.

Gina opened her eyes and looked around. Shane was still down on 1 knee with his neck bared. Gina was confused because he had already apologised. Axel was watching her every move, he was impressed and turned on by her commanding aura but he could have laughed at her adorable face of confusion "you are Queen and that power was aimed at Shane so he can't get up until you release him" he explained which caused Gina to feel bad "I didn't realise I'm sorry. I have no idea what is happening with me, " she said panicked. She hated the thought of hurting anyone, especially her newly found family. "I'm sorry, Shane," she said, and he was able to stand "no I'm sorry, Luna, I was out of line. I know Alia means us no harm, Moros went protective of our mate" he explained also feeling bad as he got to spend time with Alia and Paula over the last few weeks and he knew Alia was a sweet young girl. "Sorry, Kiddo." he smiled at Alia, ruffling her hair. "It's ok," she replied quietly with a smile.

She had grown fond of them, too. Even though she didn't speak much, they made her feel safe, made sure she got plenty to eat and drink, and they always tried to cheer her up and make her laugh. She watched them and admired how much they loved each other. She wanted to tell them the truth but she was afraid.

"Can we start over?" Gina asked, smiling at the interaction between Shane and Alia. They all agreed and started planning their journey home.
