There Might Be Hope After All

Devon's POV

Demon is currently whimpering in my head at Andrews' information that he just gave us. While, I feel like I am about to die. It just feels like everything around me is breaking. Then I finally hear that he is willing to help me and I can feel hope again. Nobody knows Katerina better than him and well me but she adores her older brother to the moon and back. His help will help break through her walls that she put up for sure. I can slowly start to feel both Demon and me start to relax and I shake out a weak sounding, "okay" to his request. Slowly but surely I feel a small smile building on my face while looking at my friend. Then I get up the courage and ask him, "What do you have in mind?" Andrew gives me his million dollar smile and says, "I have a plan to make you her hero. Though it was mine. So you owe me and I mean BIG TIME OWE ME!!! Just saying." All while he's laughing at me. He continues, "Maybe we can both be her hero's and make a night out of it. Do you have anything important this period?" I look him in the eyes with a slight smirk and say, "No. Let's go!" As we are running to jump in my car. So that Katerina doesn't realize that Andrew is gone from school. I turn on my car and start to back out of the parking space saying, "Where too boss!" He just started laughing at me and said, "To buy concert tickets, clothes for the night, and such. We will go with her for safety and get an extra ticket for Laura." Though I didn't miss the light blush that hit his cheeks at bringing Laura up. This information brought a smile to my face and I realized that it's almost like a double date. As he continues with saying, "We can do dinner before we head out to the concert too and make a badass day out of it. Then all crash at our place. Of course we need your father's approval too pull off going and you will have to control the f**k out of Demon because alot of guys will be close by. Do you think that you two can handle it?" Demon pops off, "I won't like it at all...but if it is to help prove that she is OURS and makes OUR mate happy...I will be on my best behavior...I promise…" I looked at Andrew with a smile, "Demon says that he promises to be on his best behavior." Andrew grins, "Great let's go make her year!!!" I finally ask, "What concert are we going to?" He laughed out, "Five Finger Death Punch plays this Saturday night. Kat is going to flip out!" I couldn't help but laugh knowing that he was right! This was perfect and I couldn't be more blessed than to have a best friend like him. Especially since I knew that this was originally his plan that he is letting me in on. I should buy her a hoodie for the concert and maybe wear it before I give it to her. That way my scent lingers on her and deters any other males from getting any ideas. Plus as an added bonus it will keep Demon and myself a little calmer while she is away from us today. After this thought is set and approved by me. I decided to tell Andrew, "Hey on the way back to school. We should stop by Katerina's favorite coffee place and bring her favorite drink back too." Andrew fell over in my seat laughing his ass off at me and said, "Whoa!!! Bringing in the really big guns, are we now Devon!?!?!" All while still laughing his ass off at me. I can't help but laugh along with him and say, "Anything that helps. Also when I buy her a hoodie today and wear it for a bit before I give it to her. I don't wanna hear it!" I say while trying to keep a straight face but fail miserably laughing. He looks at me with a mixture of possessiveness and calm and says, "You know Dev that makes me both happy and possessive at the same time." He says laughing and continues his thought, "But the only reason that it makes me happy is that all of these little wolf's will run from her today and on because she won't notice it really until tonight. But they will all know that their Alpha has scented her as his." This thought makes both of us laugh. Damn, Kat is going to kill us one day for sure.
