Andrews POV

I get out of my car happy after the talk with my little sister and to greet my best friend Devon before we start our day. When I started to notice that he wasn't paying any attention to me at all and his eyes were currently glued to my little sister. I heard his heartbeat basically jumping out of his chest. Then it skipped a beat when she smiled at me and no f*****g way in hell. Is that lust I smell!!! Is he lusting over MY LITTLE SISTER!!! I know my wolf Anbuis is coming forth because I am currently trying to control him and the possessive growl that is trying to escape from me currently. While I try to figure out what is going on. Then all the sudden I hear a start of a possessive growl that is not my own. While I am glaring daggers at my best friend. The next Alpha or NOT I will kick his ass at this moment!!! He finally noticed me staring daggers at him and pales I swear by ten shades of color. Ohhhh...he better start explaining himself this instant!!! Just as I am thinking this Devon starts to try and talk, "Hey, Andrew...soooOOOooo...it's Katerina's birthday today?" A loud possessive growl finally leaves me as my sister is out of ear shot. He never used her full name. Hell, we gave her the nickname KAT!!! I swear I am about to kill him!!! Devon puts up his hands and starts to say, "Andrew...I-I-I...know that...this looks and...s-s-sounds...really bad on my part...BUT" as I start to advance on him with my fists balled "Hey Andrew...man...think this THROUGH MAN!!! I can't help any of this!!!" That just fuels my anger to a greater depth. Now he is shouting at me, "Katerina's my MATE!!! She's my MATE MAN!!!" I froze in place. All the while screaming inside my head, "f**k!!!"

Anubis pipes up, "Well that's a twist that I do not like at all!!! What are we supposed to do with that information!!!"

I replied back to him, "No joke!!! ERGH!!! This is not happening, is it!?!?!"

Anubis starts to laugh out, "If he can even get by her not wanting a mate." This thought made both of us relax and I sigh out loud. Though I do feel a little bad for my lifetime best friend though. I don't know how I am going to handle this information at all. Finally, I decided on what to say, "Dev in all honesty I don't know whether to kill you or say I'm sorry because of information that I know." He froze at my words and panic yelled at me, "What do YOU MEAN Andy!!!" I sighed and looked at him. Then I finally found the right words to tell him the information with, "If I hear any word of this getting back to me man. I won't hesitate to kill you. Okay?" He nodded his head in agreement. So I continued, "My sister is happy about getting her wolf today but she is in no way thinking about finding her mate." As I start to mumble/grumble the next words, "Which...is apparently...you…" He looked soooOOOooo...broken. I didn't know how to handle it so I broke down and said, "I guess you have your work cut out for you to prove that she's better with her soul mate then without you. Look I know that I couldn't ask for a better mate for my sister than my best friend but it doesn't change the fact that I don't like anybody touching her. You must keep it PG13 in front of me or I might still snap at you. If you do that then I am sure that we will be okay man. Can you try to do that and I will even try to help you out Dev?" Devon finally started to smile again and answered me back with a weak reply, "okay." Though he still looked a little broken at the moment but his hope seemed to be slowly rising again.
